had no issues at all. I even left them a 5-star review. Based on those positive experiences, I trusted them again for a bond clean.

Unfortunately, this time was completely different. I booked a bond clean through them (Removalist Connect) and paid upfront, as required. What followed was one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. Two cleaners arrived at 1 pm and assured me the job would be completed. However, by 9:10 pm, no keys had been returned. When my husband went to collect them, the cleaners showed up late at night, asking to re-enter the property, which was already concerning. Once inside, it became clear that little to no cleaning had actually been done despite them having access all day!

The situation escalated quickly: The garage mechanism had been tampered with without permission. One cleaner admitted to stealing a personal item (a religious poster) and gave conflicting stories about where it was. He became aggressive and pressured my husband to hand the keys back. My husband felt unsafe and had to retreat to his car and lock himself inside. We were so concerned that we called the POLICE.

To make matters worse, the cleaners later left the property unsecured, with doors wide open, and the cleaning was still incomplete, with a dirty stovetop, dusty surfaces, unclean skirting boards, and an overall unacceptable condition. Despite being told a re-clean would be arranged, this never properly happened, and there was clear miscommunication between the company and the real estate agency. Because the bond clean was not completed on time, and the situation became so stressful and unsafe, this directly impacted me, missing work, ultimately contributing to me losing my job. This experience was: Unsafe, Unprofessional, Disorganised, Completely, Criminal and Unacceptable No customer should ever feel threatened in their own home or be left in this position after paying for a service. Bigbull/Removalist Connect never returned or refunded the stolen item.

I would never use this company ever again! Please Avoid!

This company are absolute scammers They changed their name from Big Bull Movers to Removelist’s connect The website is a front to scam you of the $100 deposit and then will give you every excuse under the sun ( driver is sick, can we move to Friday etc ) Avoid at all costs

raising the issue immediately, they took an unreasonably long time to respond, denied responsibility, and then offered a laughable $50 “goodwill” payment. That doesn’t even come close to covering the cost of repair or replacement. Their explanation makes no sense. The speaker was in perfect condition before the move. If it had been damaged beforehand, it would have been impossible to transport safely without it being noticed. The damage clearly happened while it was in their care. This shows a complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and respect for customers’ belongings. I will never use them again and strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them with your valuables. If I could give zero stars, I would.

then they did not settle it. They did not settle because they said we have complained after 4 days already. The thing is it’s already our last day on that apartment that’s why we don’t know what happened after and we only know when the neighbours are already complaining. They will try their best to save themselves. It cost us too much to pay them for moving all our furniture. Added cost for shouldering their fault (it cost us too much). I’d rather pay extra for a reliable and trusted movers than this. It all up to you if you were going to trust this kind of people who wanted only to gain profits.

Guys told me I needed to pay more after everything was delivered. Paid 3 times more than quoted for single run that’s around 50km. Biggest furniture was a mattress and a fridge, truck was quarter full. Ruined my wall while moving upstairs as well….

Good work on a tricky job – Tough job moving a fridge up very narrow stairs, but it would have been easier if they had brought the tools and knowledge required to take the door off the fridge. The walls and the new fridge would not have been damaged if they had done this (and it would have been lighter!). Show details

Disgusting! – DO NOT USE BIG BULL! They turn up hours late at 5pm from 1pm, sent a small truck not large, pack at SLOW speed, then say we can’t finish today will have to come back tomorrow. Turn up late AGAIN, scratch solid furniture without compensation & expect a positive review. I have never been so stressed in my life from their incompetence! BEWARE!!!

 Follow-up  · They withheld furniture in their truck until payment was made & added addition cost to the price! Sat on the back of their truck tail gate staring & intimidating me until done. Furniture was packed & bubble wrapped to protect yet they still scratched it with their equipment! Awful experience with customer service saying it is what it is or you don’t get your product. I don’t recommend at all.

They said they would handle it Over a 6 weeks later nothing I wouldnt recommend these people to my worst enemy 1 star cause you cant put zero Go somewhere else if you want the job done right.

These guys were brilliant. They moved a heavy 125kg+ BBQ across town from the eastern suburbs all the way to the far west and their charges were extremely reasonable. The two boys who did the drop off were also very very good. Simple honest people trying to make an honest living. I’d highly recommend them.

Worst removalists I’ve ever used - no stars! booked a time, it got changed 3 times and eventually had to re-book for the next day, no apologies. Their phone recording goes on about how they are the best leading moving specialists, not so. The removalists guys themselves were fine and took care but I would never use this company again. arrive at my house at 2pm - At 2:30pm rang the concierge and told them they were late and reminded them that all furniture must be delivered by 5pm - They arrived at 3:15pm. After assessing the furniture asked them if it can be completed by 5pm as they were late. They assured me it wasn't a problem. - They mucked about for about 30mins until my partner and I started moving furniture ourselves to hurry them up. They dragged their heels, wasted time and took forever. They had no gloves, protective footwear and loaded the truck in worse fashion possible. I'm guessing there will be damage - They arrived at the apartment complex at 5pm and the window to move was closed. - Now they want $400 storage fee and another 3hrs of labour. I agree to the storage fee and got them down to 30mins extra of labour and told them the window to move the next day was between 9am - 11am. - Now they want me to pay them in full before they come out. Terrible service. Consistently lied about pickup times wasting my whole day each time being delayed every time I called. Was told I’d get a discounted rate due to the delays but in the end had to pay full price and got 1 less worker than quoted. Ended up being outsourced to Gilbert Handy truck who came the next morning and he was great, wish I went with him from the start

If I could give 0 stars I would, booked weeks in advance for an 8am pickup, no communication I had to repeatedly call them and was told everytime they were on the way. Arrived at 10:30 with a smaller truck then I had booked, then they tried to charge me full price. Absolutely don't recommend, save yourself the hassle and book another company.

finally arriving at 8:00 PM, making us wait an entire day for a quick, 2-hour job. The real disaster was the pricing. We were explicitly quoted $60 per hour, with $65 for overtime, which their representative confirmed. However, they first charged us a ridiculous $362.91. When we called to dispute this clear error, they changed the price to $262.91, claiming it was based on an undisclosed $135 per hour rate that was never once mentioned during booking. When challenged about the lying and the deceptive pricing, all they had to say was, "How was it our fault?" They then resorted to keeping our belongings hostage in the truck until we paid the inflated fee. We were forced to pay the $262.91 to get our items (and they kept the clock rolling during the dispute), bringing the total paid to an outrageous $365.01 for a 2-hour move. To then say the $102.10 deposit isn't even coming back to us is unacceptable. They only took two hours (and my partner made it easier for them to take the items), yet they charge more than what it would cost for a person to rent a truck for $180 and do it themselves all day. Next time, don't lie about being cheap and charging $135 per hour rate. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

me, even driving away with my belongings to pressure me into paying before unloading. I received over 15 aggressive phone calls from them during this time.

I felt unsafe and had to call the police, as I was alone and the drivers tried to get me to go inside with them. I was left traumatized and even offered to pay in cash just to end the ordeal.

When I contacted the company afterward, I was gaslighted and told to pay despite their misconduct. I’ve kept all evidence and will be submitting it to Consumer Affairs. I strongly warn others not to use this company.

everything to make sure you pay before they leave no matter what damage they have done and will use your belongings as leverage. Read the other reviews and you will see it's a common trend with other victims. All other 5 star reviews seem to be Al generated or done through their friends.

Absolutely disgusted they were 2 hours late. They never labelled any of my boxes. Requested that they Pack, and unpack my kitchen, my pantry, my main bedroom and bathroom that charged me $757. They did not unpack anything, they've dumped it here. And I am absolutely disgusted, and would never recommend them ever.

Explained to him the whole saga and he promised to call me back after he contacts the truck driver [Name Removed]. Never Called back. My son payed a $100 deposit a week before to secure a spot. These guys are not professionals but take advantage of honest people. At last the driver came at 1pm but did not come up the driveway to pick up the furniture. When they came top deliver at my house, the driver did not bring his truck into my drive way but kept the truck on opposite side of the road and my furniture on nature strips. They kept me waiting in my garage more than half an hour and said pay the balance payment first and then we will deliver. I said to them to bring the furniture to my premises and then I will release the payment. The the order of sequence of service in the industry for removals is not asking for payment before even it has been delivered to your premises. This means they are holding you for ransome. So Please do not use the service of Big Bull Removals. I Will never use such kind of Removals again.

Months later of several emails back and forth they offered me a $50 voucher to use on my next move. This voucher is useless as i would never use this company again or recommend to anyone else.

move. I was charged $853.46 more than double the original quote. On top of that, several items were damaged, and I was pressured to pay the extra cost just to have my items unloaded.

I called daily for over a week trying to escalate the issue. I was told it would be handled by a manager but after all that, I received a response from the same person I originally complained about. It was a complete runaround.

Their final “resolution”? A $50 coupon, which doesn’t even come close to fixing the situation. This company has shown a total lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for its customers.

Avoid at all costs.

at the wrong location and kept asking me to come out - wanted me to share my Google location so they could find the right location. First sign things were wrong. Upon seeing the items, said 'it's too heavy' and 'they can't move it' - item was a bookshelf, which is why we booked two movers... the same bookshelf I was able to move UP stairs with my wife, yet two professional movers deemed too heavy to move down. On moving, they appeared amateurs - didn't know how to use a screwdriver, didn't really know how to lift properly or move items (and I had to help them move). They damaged antique items. We then had an area where bollards were going up in the city - I kept asking them to hurry and move the truck or they'd be stuck in for the day, and they kept saying 'just a few more minutes' --> guess they didn't want to use the trolley they'd brought. They then delivered to my home to my wife, and bullied her into paying, claiming they didn't know what the price was, to take it up with management, and they overarched by $330! Refused to disclose why despite asking for invoices, explanations, etc. They also made my wife pay using bank transfer, so we couldn't even start a chargeback on credit card. Eventually received a response, and they had charged me for 'three heavy items' and 'stairs'. The stairs were disclosed at time of booking and on their estimate form, yet they did not provide a charge (later decided to add this on). They did not disclose a 'heavy item fee' on their estimate form, nowhere on their website. I admit one of the items was heavier, but the book-shelf was moved by myself and my wife upstairs (so can't have been that heavy for two 'professional' movers to take downstairs), another was a small desk I moved myself, and another was a medium desk they literally moved one handed as they were holding a coffee I bought them in the other. After a month of fighting them, they agreed to refund $160 - better than losing the total $330. They took over two weeks to refund the amount - and this involved emailing them twice a day and calling them everyday to get a result. This company is terrible. DO NOT USE THEM. Have also reported to ACCC and VCAT.
