Feels like scam promotions. They advertised really good deals around $150, and offer a free shipping for orders over $200. In the end, they sent me only $50 item I purchased and cancelled the $150 one. It has been weeks since the cancellation, no return money yet. Really feels like a fake promotion, has all elements of a scam.
After more than a month waiting for parts to be delivered, they ended up sending us an email mentioning parts are no longer available and the order has been cancelled.
A company going broke by self inflicted incompetence. Bought 4 items online and waited a few hours before picking up. in Sydney. So a week later I get an email saying your order has arrived. I drive down again and she goes, " did you receive a phone call from us to say your order is in", no I received an email, "well you have to wait until we phone you". So she does go and look and low and behold half my order is in so I drive back home and wait for the rest. Last Thursday I get another email stating your order is in and the emails DONT list what is in the order so I wait for my phonecall from Blackwoods to confirm. Not surprisingly there is No phonecall so 4 days later I phone them and she checks and yippee my items are finally there. I drive down again for the third time and state I received an email, the guy goes, "did you receive a phone call". No I've been waiting for your supposed phone call since last Thursday so he goes and finds my order. Now is that anyway to run a business, I should send them a bill for the $20 in fuel and time I wasted.

BEWARE Tried to buy online....they shouldnt be in business. Goods had to be returned....very hard to find out how to return...painfully slow. And nbow five months later still have not received all the correct refunds out of packet for returned goods. Go Wlsewhere...anywhere will be a better experience.
How do you stay in business. Your pricing is ridiculous compared to other companies that stock the same product. EG 3M Scotchbrite linishing belts on your website are $48 and I have seen them for $36.00 elsewhere and have bought them before at just under $30. You are a large company your pricing should be a lot more competitive than it is. This is on one product. I check your website and at all times you are more expensive.
The website, customer support, and everything else related to this company are absolutely useless. It's a total waste of time! PLEASE DON'T USE THEM
A genuine rip off. Silly me ordered some parts from this rip off joint. After I checked if there was an alternate supplier as the price seemed high - not only did I find an alternate but the price was less than half of this place. I rang to discuss but they do not care. I will never step foot in this shop again.
Don’t Risk It – Very disappointed with the service. Placed an order over two weeks ago, and despite attempts to get an update, I’ve received no response. The website shows the order as “processed” but not packed, with no indication of when it will be shipped. If you expect timely order fulfillment and basic communication, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Not good enough.

explanation it turns up at my house with a courier from Aliexpress. I had already ordered a replacement from a proper business which was arriving the following day. Sent it back with the courier and when I followed up with Blackwoods (A..X) the following morning I was told it was sent out in error because of a, "glitch" in their system. I'm told I will be refunded by Monday. Not holding my breath... They REALLY are hopeless.
Worst company i have dealt with – Disgusting customer service, gross incompetence in each and every area of operation.
Do not go near this company – I purchased 3 items to the value of over $1k 1st week of June '22 for collection. I had to call before I could go to collected. I waited over 1hr to collect. 1/3 items weren't even there. battery pack was draining to 7v. I asked for a refund. Blackwoods: Nope it's a warranty issue. Me: No it's a DOA issue because you sold me old stock. Blackwoods: OK we need the defective batteries, so we will collect them from you and immediately send out replacements. Me: OK as long as they're not 7yrs old too. They sent a FedEx guy to collect them items, and 6 weeks later I am still waiting for the replacements. They never deal with my issue and say somebody will call me back but never does. Every time I try and speak to somebody in charge, eg Team Lead, he's always just gone in to a meeting and will call me back.

Order never processed – I placed an order online and when I paid for the order no order was generated but money was deducted from my account. I am still trying to obtain a refund from Blackwoods 3months later and no one can help me. Everytime I call I get the same questions and a promised call back that never happens. Very disappointing.
Abrupt welcome – Called in at Blackwoods Canningvale, walked in the sales dept, was told to stand outside only 5 people in at one time by a surly woman, with a threatening demeanour, stood there for 10minutes all that time more customers behind me....finally got inside found the item l wanted was not on the shelf another line of customers waiting to be served by two employees, another 10 minute wait not impressed walked out won't be back...
Incompetent staff. False advertising. Zero online post sales support – For starters this company doesn’t accept PayPal which should have been the first red flag. being polished chrome (no if’s or but’s). When my order arrived the spanners in the set were in fact painted silver (not a mirror finish of polished chrome as advertised) and were literally rusting out of the box.
I raised the issue with them, provided photos etc, and to my surprise they said they are indeed polished chrome. I challenged this because obviously they’re not, and they doubled down saying they were polished chrome, and they had therefore not falsely advertised the set. This conversation took about a week as they’re very slow to respond.
I asked to return them for a refund, because this substantially altered the value of the set. They flat out refused to support me with the return (despite my order being placed online). They expected that I drive an hour round trip to go to a store to raise it with them. For some this is impossible, and an unacceptable expectation for an online order. No alternatives were offered despite asking twice.
I will never ever do business with these incompetent morons again.
FASTEST DELIVERY I HAVE EVER RECEIVED – Ordered 2 items late in the day yesterday (after 3.30pm) and they arrived at 8am this morning. Talk about speedy service! Their pricing was fair and included free delivery. What more could you ask for! Thanks

2 months. Order still not shipped and 2 phone calls. Still waiting on a reply 4 days later – Ordered a product online and said "out of stock" will ship late May. Purchased start of May. Its now June 7 and haven't heard a thing. 2 phone calls so far both times told I would be called back. 4 days later and still heard nothing. Now chasing down a refund. I should have gone to Bunnings. Absolutely crap service. Don't bother.
urgent order – Order a small pipe over 1 month ago, website said instock but after paying my order shows on back order? they dont respond to emails and ask me to ring the courier but cant give me a valid tracking number.

Most Useless for products and Customer Service – Order a product, wrong product supplied, struggled for more that a month, many E-mail and phone calls, most ignored from them. Promissed that the money will be paid back to me, still no luck. Save yourself time and trouble and buy it from somewhere else.
Ellexcent service – ordered something that had a lead time of 2 months, told them it was urgent. customer service put it as high priority & I had the goods with in 5 working days. if only there was 10 stars.
Utterly Hopeless – I spend more money chasing missing or incorrect components than their actual cost. Blackwoods keep minimal Australian stock, meaning lead times of up to 2 months are standard but they won't tell you this when ordering. I'll only ever use them as a last resort.
Don't bother with Backwoods. Waste of time – Absolutely useless website. Unable to search for items. Staff are friendly but can't do much about lack of stock. Found item elsewhere in seconds. Unable to sell a 6mm tap. Very Disappointing.

I emailed them and requested to cancel the order and refund the cost for the other pair of overalls I never received. I received the refund a few days ago (nearly 8 weeks after initial purchase), it took over 1 month, 4 emails and 2 phone calls to receive one pair of overalls, waited patiently for the second pair, 7 weeks later requested refund. Waste of my time, I would not recommend Blackwoods, their service and communication is well below par.
do not buy from this company – In early April 2018 ordered a $32 pack of filter cartridges. They arrived promptly, yet were 6 months out of their expiry date. Complete lack of communication and competence. Ended up asking for a refund (still waiting for that to be processed and had to ask for an email confirming) and buying the same product for half the price from Total Tools.
