Overall sentiment toward Bloomex is overwhelmingly negative, with the vast majority of reviewers expressing deep frustration over failed deliveries, poor product quality, and inadequate customer support. Many customers report that flowers arrived significantly late, withered, or looking nothing like the advertised images, particularly for time-sensitive events like birthdays, anniversaries, and funerals. While a few interactions with support staff yielded positive initial impressions, recurring difficulties with refunds and unannounced substitutions leave most consumers feeling dissatisfied and reluctant to use the service again.
If I could leave zero stars I would. I ordered flowers for my mothers birthday on the 17th August, to be delivered on the 18th. They eventually turned up on the 22nd August, mostly dead. The flowers in the bouquet were nothing like I had requested. Customer service was terrible, they really had no idea what was going and clearly did not care. I… Read more
have been chasing a refund, they offered 25% and then 30% and then when I finally agreed to the a 30% refund said it couldn't be processed. Do not use this company!

0 stars 15 September 2026 Absolute rubbish. I ordered flowers on the 11th before 9am for same day delivery. I then received a text message at 11:18 which read "Hi, it's [Name Removed] from the florist. Your order will be delivered on 14/09 with an upgrade, as our courier cannot deliver to your area today." I replied and no one replied to me. … Read more
The flowers arrived 2pm monday all wilted with a scrappy note and random box of yam yams. I spoke with a lady upon receiving the flowers and she asked me to send photos to wecare@bunchesandstems.com. I have not heard back, upon searching, this email is not the correct email for complaints. care@bloomex.com.au might be. For $99.99 this is unacceptable and there was no "upgrade" as stated in the text message.
Customer care is non existent. I would give them no stars if it was an option. At 10am, 24 August, I placed an order for flowers, a birthday card and paid extra for same day delivery. After completing payment I immediately realised that due to inattention on my part the flowers were not in the cart. I immediately attempted to cancel the order,… Read more
via the online help desk on the Bloomex website, and also via email and then placed a second order that included the flowers in the cart, again paid for a card and same-day delivery, and thought I had done what was required to cancel the first, incomplete order. Instead, not the same day, but the next morning two items were delivered, the ordered flowers, and the earlier order - an empty box with a card inside. Clearly there was no human oversight anywhere along the order and delivery process. Does their business plan include delivering empty boxes? I then requested a refund for the empty box order and the additional fee I paid for same day delivery of the second order. Over two weeks later, an email arrived saying “We sincerely apologise that the cancellation request was not actioned as requested and that the order was subsequently delivered due to our automated response system” and I was offered store credit to the value of the card order but no refund. Based on the protracted and repetitive exchange of emails and screenshots, I believe that Bloomex handles customer concerns via AI, not via a human employee. I will not be doing business with them again.

he service was extremely disappointing. The flowers were far smaller than advertised on the website, and the price was excessive for such a poor arrangement. The flowers themselves were damaged and appeared old. The message card was printed on the same promotional voucher, which was inappropriate. Delivery was also delayed by one day. As… Read more
compensation, chocolates were offered, but instead we received $2 biscuits from Aldi, which is unacceptable.
To make matters worse, they have refused to provide a refund and continue to offer only a small store voucher, effectively forcing customers to purchase from them again despite the poor quality of their products and service. To anyone reading this, I strongly encourage you to support local florists instead of businesses like this one, which deliver poor-quality products and refuse to take responsibility. This experience felt like a complete waste of money and trust.
0 starts should be an option. How is this company still operating. They should be ashamed!! I got 3 bouquets for the 23/12. 1. Delivered to the wrong house and I was told to go search around the street. Refused to do anything as it had been delivered 2. Never arrived at all. Despite being told twice they were on there way. 3. Arrived and looked… Read more
nothing like what I’d paid for. Customer service team told me they look exactly like the picture and were acceptable. Requested a refund and they said no, I could have a store credit. When I said I would not use there company ever again after they could come through with the 3 bouquets I ordered they still refused to do a refund. This is a scam and I don’t know how they are getting away with it. Please ensure you report to scam watch and your bank. They should not be allowed to operate!!
do not use this company, they have been taken to court by the ACCC in Australia for taking over a million dollars from people's money the only reason i used them is because I use them once before and it was ok this time it was my mum's 90th birthday her flowers never turned up nor the win or card do not use them

My daughter sent me flowers for Mother’s Day, yesterday. I found them , quite by accident , standing in a box at the front door, in full sun, 3 hours after delivery. I was home, no one rang or knocked to say they were there. Some of the flowers were crushed and drooping. Not a good experience, wouldn’t recommend.

Don't waste your money on Bloomex hampers – We were sent a Bloomex gift box for Christmas that was appalling. Apparently, it was supposed to be gourmet chocolates and biscuits. In the shipping box was a hamper basket with biscuits, pretzels, fruit & nut mix etc, and loose packets of more biscuits and pretzels thrown in on top. All up there were 2-4 packets of each item e.g. 4 packets of the… Read more
same pretzels, 3 packets of the same biscuits. And each packet had tiny quantities e.g. the 4 boxes of chocolate covered pretzels were each 40g (6.5 pretzels), and everything we dared to try was awful, there was nothing gourmet about it. I felt so sorry about the money wasted by the sender - it wasn't even worth giving to charity. The gift message was at the top of the order slip which was stapled inside the card. All up this is the worst hamper I have ever seen. Bloomex should do the right thing and refund the sender of this order, and do something to improve the quality of the products, value, presentation and reputation.
My mum received 18 mixed roses as a 90th birthday gift from her niece. The box explicitly printed instructions to use the enclosed flower food, but none was provided. When I called Bloomex on behalf of my mother to let them know, customer service dismissed it and claimed they do not provide flower food and their instructions were just "incorrect"… Read more
as they don't include flower food. It is incredibly poor form for such an expensive florist (I am sure it would have cost mum’s niece well over $130 for 18 roses) claiming to provide premium flower service to cut corners on basic care items and then dismiss the customer. Thankfully the roses themselves were okay, but the service and support are severely lacking. Please avoid and will not be recommending.
I ordered and paid for flowers for a friends funeral for them to be delivered on a Wednesday because the funeral was on Thursday, they even emailed me a picture of the flowers prior to them being delivered. So I thought that was great, but they weren't delivered on Wednesday, the customer service is shocking. I had to hang up on one guy as I could… Read more
not understand a word he said. Still waiting for my return phone call to say where the delivery is. I paid 130.00 which included 24.95 for next day delivery. If I wanted free delivery I could of chosen the Thursday option. But wanted my friend to receive them before the funeral
worst service ever, DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE ALSO CALLED ""BUNCHES AND STEMS""
They sent a bouquet with rotten flowers, yellow stocks, and it wasn't even assembled. I had to put it together myself, and the vase they sent doesn't even fit. The worst customer service ever. Don't buy. Not sure what my husband was thinking. They ruined my birthday.
I ordered flowers on Tuesday, 1st September 2026, for my daughter (order number 11128556): 10 stems of red roses (Vase included), a card, and a little teddy bear for $120 (delivery included) for same-day delivery. Service Wed/Thur/Fri to enquire about my undelivered order. They gave me the runaround and told me that it would be delivered the next day.
When it arrived at my daughter's place, there were only 7 red roses, a card and NO SMALL TEDDY BEAR !!!, but an apology email and replacement treats to replace the teddy bear that was OUT OF STOCK!!! The main reason why I chose this package was especially for the teddy bear. I am totally disgusted with all operations of this company, and if this had been delivered on the day it was supposed to be, then the TEDDY BEAR may still have been in stock. Feeling very angry and disappointed.

WARNING BLOOMEX ARE SCAMMERS!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!! My friend ordered a bunch of native flowers and a hamper item from Bloomex for me after my father passed away. ACCC and NSW Government not to deal with them. Their refund policy says that ‘for a full refund we need to receive our product back to the address it was delivered from within 7 days’. I paid for it to be posted back to Bloomex at the originating address on the box and was later advised by Australia Post that they refused to accept the package as ‘receiver not known at that address’.
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. What was delivered was nothing like what I ordered and paid for. I ordered a large bunch of deluxe native flowers in a vase. A very small arrangement with no variety came in a box. I was embarrassed that these were delivered. Terrible customer service, emails back and forth and no resolution or care for customers. Never again! Buyer beware!

Ordered flowers through Aussie Flowers, paid for same day delivery but for the following day Saturday as order was interstate. never did and put them in a delivery box on the Wednesday. It was lucky I checked my email to see it had arrived. Had to arrange flowers myself some for the recipients as I had flown up to be with them due a horrible time. Really bad experience some flowers were almost dead so couldn’t be used. All in all terrible.
These are DIY flowers in a box the recipient has to do their own arrangement. I thought I was ordering a prearranged bouquet in a vase (purchased as an additional item) to be delivered arranged in the vase. I also ordered for next day delivery, ordered on the 11/8 but delivered 14/8. When I received a StarTrack tacking number I became worried as… Read more
florists normally use their own courier. I contacted them and they advised that the delivery address was outside there zone and it would take 3 days for delivery! They advised they would add a gourmet gift as apology. The flowers were sent from Sydney to Mildura in a box with the vase wrapped in bubble wrap. The gourmet gift was snack size tub of Pringles!! None of this is flagged in the website their T&C claims delivery notification is clarified at checkout - no it’s not had I know it would take 3 days to deliver I wouldn’t have ordered. I felt mislead and lodged a PayPal dispute as the service received was significantly different to what I purchased but the case was closed without any contact with me as PayPal received tracking notification even though it wasn’t on what I purchased. Bloomex didn’t respond to my msgs just went silent as did PayPal. DON’T USE BLOOMEX

Update
I would absolutely not recommend this business. This is not just because the flowers were not delivered on the requested date, or because nobody was able to provide me with accurate information regarding the order. The biggest issue is the absolutely unacceptable quality of the flowers we received.
I was told that the arrangement had been upgraded to a super-size, however, after receiving the flowers, it is very clear that this is not what we received. The flowers arrived today and my wife is absolutely devastated by how they look. They look old, wilted and almost dead. When she took the flowers apart to put them into a vase, we found that the stems were already dried out. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering these flowers were ordered for a very special occasion.
What kind of service are you providing to customers? You call yourselves a florist, yet the quality and care of these flowers is significantly worse than what you would expect from flowers purchased at a supermarket. I would not give this business five stars. If I could give -5 stars, I would.
This entire experience has been incredibly disappointing, from the incorrect delivery date and lack of communication to the extremely poor quality of the flowers themselves.
I am requesting a full refund. The product we received is nowhere near the standard that was paid for, and this situation has completely ruined what was supposed to be a special surprise for my wife. I expect this matter to be resolved promptly
Absolute scam quality and misleading advertising. They display gorgeous arrangements online, but what actually arrives is a joke. After a ruined Valentine's Day order, I used their $20 store credit for a second try, hoping for an improvement. Instead, I got wilted, dying flowers that looked nothing like the listing. They use fake photos to trap… Read more

green and nothing like the colourful arrangement I selected and paid extra for.
The truffle chocolates were also replaced with Maltesers, without my approval. I selected delivery before 2 pm, but it arrived after 4:30 pm, and my request to call the recipient before delivery was also ignored.
I contacted Bloomex with photographic evidence. They acknowledged in writing that the bouquet did not match the housewarming arrangement ordered and that the chocolates differed from what I selected.
Their proposed resolution made the situation even worse. They want the recipient, who lives in another state, to take the now-dead flowers and substituted chocolates to a post office and send them back. This was a gift! After already making me look cheap and embarrassing me in front of the recipient by delivering something completely different from what I paid for, they now expect me to further embarrass myself by asking the recipient to package up dead flowers and cheap substituted chocolates and go to the post office to return them.
I paid Bloomex to provide a beautiful housewarming gift, not to create additional work and embarrassment for the person receiving it.
The whole experience has been incredibly disappointing. What was advertised, what I paid for, and what was actually delivered were significantly different, and even after acknowledging this, they have failed to offer what I consider a reasonable resolution.
I have now escalated the matter through the appropriate consumer and payment dispute channels.
Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend checking recent customer reviews and photos before ordering. I certainly will never order from them again.
Follow-up · There was no solution provided by them.
Poor communication, changed my flower order to much lesser quality without consult, sent x2 cards neither had my message on it, very late delivery. Worst $91 I spent on flowers ever. So much for choosing to support an Aussie company. Never again.
Follow-up · late 2 days No notification of changes Orchid Card attached but message not written on Unapproved flowers eventually at Hospice AFTER my Aunt with no evidence of who had sent it, so the Hospice did not know who to notify Very all round and will never use again nor promote your company, was trying to support an Australian company
Follow-up · Will never use this business again!
Didn’t deliver on the requested date. Delivered dead flowers 5 days later with crackers and not the card and message as requested. Refused to give my money back. Wirst service and product ever. DO NOT use them . I wish I had read reviews first.
Follow-up · Bloomex refused to refund my money and even though I provided receipt and photos people kept asking me to provide receipts again and asked the same question, even after they had offered another delivery (why would I want more rubbish delivered to my aunt)? Dead flowers, a packet of cheap crackers and no card, its embarassing and an insult to my Aunt. Do NOT use this company, you may as well rip up your money.

Proceeded with my order through the Online Chat. Kero the sales person was very helpful. Helped me with my selection and even managed to to an upsell. I'll review again once the bouquet has been delivered, but was assured it would be magnificent. Chat sales service was excellent.
Follow-up · Well needless to say the bouquet was a big disappointment. Nothing like what I ordered. Never order again.
I've been a loyal Bloomex customer for many years and have consistently had great experiences. When I recently encountered an issue with a delivery, the Bloomex team handled it with the utmost professionalism, they replaced my order promptly and offered a sincere apology. It's rare to find a company that handles complaints so well. I wholeheartedly recommend Bloomex and will absolutely continue to rely on them for all my special occasions.
Due to a misunderstanding I received some very nice flowers, but not what I thought I had ordered. Terrible. Ordered with same day delivery. They told me not possible and it would be the next day. Fine But the next day came and still not delivered. On top of this they told me the flowers I ordered where out of stock and they would ship something completely different
Just had my own experience with them, and it wasn’t a good one at all! When I called to cancel my order, their customer service representative told me to “calm down.” I had specifically paid an extra $25 for express delivery because the order was time-sensitive, only to be told they can’t honour the express delivery. a box of chocolates as compensation. Totally inappropriate given that the order was for a funeral. A deceased person can’t exactly delay their burial by a day so their flowers can be delivered. Very disappointing customer service and, in this particular situation, a complete lack of understanding and sensitivity.
Ordered flowers by phone on Friday 4 September 2026 for my daughters birthday, to be delivered that day or following day. that Sunday to try and sort it out. It sounded like the same man who took the order, after giving him the order number it was quiet for a couple of minutes, I asked if he was still there and got a literal grunt. I waited another couple of minutes and asked again if he was still there and got no answer although the line was obviously still open, after waiting a little while longer I hung up. Will never use Bloomex again, not even sure if it is a real company.

What a bunch of useless morons at Bloomex, I ordered flowers and card to be sent to a private address, over 3 days it never got to the recipients address, it was sent to a Post Office when the address was just around the corner, 3 days to go nowhere, refused a refund, recipient never received the gift, total rip off, incompetent imbeciles, customer service non existent, do not use Bloomex ever they are frauds.
I ordered a supersized bunch of coloured gerberas with a vase for a sick friend who had just come home from hospital. I selected Friday morning delivery because I knew she would be home at that time. first question is: why was I able to select Friday delivery on the website and pay for it if this was never an option?
I tried to be accommodating and agreed to delivery the following Monday, but explained that it needed to arrive early in the day. I was assured this would be fine.
I then received a text advising me that Australia Post would be delivering the flowers. At that point, I became concerned about the quality and freshness of flowers being sent through the post.
The flowers did not arrive until early Monday evening. Even worse, what was delivered bore absolutely no resemblance to what I had ordered. Instead of a supersized bunch of colourful gerberas with a vase, my friend received a small bunch of very tired-looking roses and a little packet of biscuits. My friend is diabetic, so the biscuits were completely inappropriate.
Essentially, for an order costing approximately $120 (less a $15 first-time buyer discount), my sick friend received a few poor-quality roses and biscuits she could not eat — three days after the flowers were originally supposed to arrive.
I was acutely embarrassed. This was meant to be a thoughtful gesture for someone recovering from illness, and instead I felt embarrassed by what appeared to have been sent on my behalf.
I contacted Bloomex and was initially offered a $30 credit. After further discussion, I was told I would receive a credit for the full amount. The following day, however, this was changed back to a $30 credit. Given the quality of what was delivered for approximately $120, I have no idea what $30 would buy from this company.
I also asked Bloomex to simply deliver what I had originally ordered. They told me they could not do this. I subsequently wrote a letter outlining my concerns and received no response.
Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before ordering from Bloomex if you care about the delivery date, delivery time, size of the arrangement, type of flowers ordered, freshness of the flowers, or receiving anything remotely similar to what you paid for.
I ordered a large, colourful bunch of gerberas with a vase for a sick friend. She received a small bunch of tired roses and biscuits she could not eat, three days later than originally requested.
For me, the entire experience was disappointing and embarrassing.
