Blossom Homes addressed only minor issues and admitted neglecting control joints as per the engineering drawing, citing too many to handle—showcasing their negligence and poor rectification efforts Blossom Homes made undisclosed cost-saving changes despite my presented council-approved plan. Without my consent, they opted to use a roof truss company they are partners with, changing the plan completely and causing significant construction delays. Furthermore, they substituted a cheap [Content Removed] panel for the specified CSR Hebel panel in both the working drawing and council-approved plan Blossom Homes demanded upfront payments, unlawfully stopped work, and [Content Removed] us with an invoice for unfinished items. To resume work, we were coerced into making payments. Despite this, one item, a garage shoe rack ($3900), remains incomplete to date We made an additional payment for a powder room feature wall, but Blossom Homes used flooring tiles instead. The originally selected tiles for the feature wall are still in my garage, and the issue remains unresolved We witnessed water pouring into the house at Blossom Homes' claimed practical completion stage, breaking our hearts. Despite our observations, numerous roofing issues identified by building inspectors remain unaddressed We encountered issues in every department—electrical, paint, roofing, front door, tiling, retaining wall, driveway, perimeter, and crossover—most of which Blossom Homes did not address. The driveway and perimeter issues are so severe that they pose a risk to the structure, with water seeping through the holes into the footing. Additionally, the crossover, constructed without council approval, remains incomplete and non-compliant, requiring a complete redo as confirmed by the council Blossom Homes' carelessness caused significant cracks in our main door. Despite notifying them after the first door was left under the sun, resulting in cracks, they replaced it only to repeat the mistake. We paid an additional $2150 for this variation, yet the issue persists with the current door. Blossom Homes offers a $5000 referral bonus to existing customers if the referees sign contracts with them. Unfortunately, I made this mistake at an early stage, and I believe this tactic is employed to secure positive reviews and discourage dissatisfied customers from sharing their construction experiences We took possession of the house through a lawyer due to intentional handover delays by Blossom Homes, without fixing reported defects from two independent building inspectors. We're currently pursuing legal action against Blossom Homes.
