availabilty of stock and booking time. After almost a week, with no contact, I rang the store only to get an answering service. I was then contacted about 2 hours later to tell me my tyres were in store and to organise a booking for fitment. Tyres were finally fitted days after my original, selected booking. The fitting process was efficient and professional. I eventually got precisely what I had requested, just several days later than I was initially led to believe by the website process.

I recently bought four tyres from Bob Jane T-Marts Artarmon. I’d done my research and found the exact same tyres at a local competitor. The salesperson agreed to match the lower price, which was great — but their advertised “Best Tyre Price Guarantee” clearly states they’ll match the competitor’s price and pay 10% of the difference. 10% (around $95 in total) was never applied, mentioned, or explained. The invoice even includes a line for the “Best Tyre Price Guarantee” but lists it as $0.00, which feels misleading. If you’re going to promote a guarantee, it should actually be honoured automatically, not only if the customer notices and chases it up. On that note, I am yet to receive a reply to my email or text inquiring about this.

The fitting itself was done properly, but when I collected the car, the tyres were dusty and unclean — no effort made to wipe or present them properly. For a $1,600 spend on a premium product, I expected a higher level of service and attention to detail.

Whilst my 12pm booking was erroneously ‘moved’ to 2:15pm (apparently the online booking centre had allowed far too many longer jobs to be scheduled), the staff did all they could to accommodate the error and get my vehicle back on the road asap. car out of the workshop was clearly working tremendously hard to juggle the large number of bookings on a holiday weekend. Nevertheless, he was friendly and cheerful and very apologetic for the delay, even though it wasn’t his fault. Likewise, the manager remained calm and courteous despite having to ‘disappoint’ a stream of customers expecting an earlier pickup. Good service always wins the day in my view. Rapid excellent service – My car was delivered after hours by tow truck on a Thursday evening. Friday morning I was advised that two special tyres were required, but they were sourced same day and I was able to pick up my car early Saturday morning. Would recommend – The team have been polite and efficient both times I have had to go this year. Both times I had a screw in my tyre and both times I was in and out within 30-45 mins which I thought was pretty quick considering they had other customers. The first time was a tyre replacement, the second time they were able to repair and checked the rest of my tyres at a reasonable price. Show reply

Perfect service for replacing four tires - at competitive price, fast, professional, and friendly – At short notice, I needed to change four tires for my wife's car. The model of the tires that I wanted was not available, but to make my happy, they offered next up model, at almost the same price (difference of only $1.00 per tyre). That was a good deal for me.
