Found a Tex screw in my tyre and popped into the Shellharbour store and luke done a temporary plug repair at no cost to get me out of trouble as i had a long drive that morning and returned in the afternoon for the actual repair. minding the car, I popped into Bob Jane’s — it just seemed the obvious thing to do.
Once again, the service was first rate. The team spent quite a bit of time looking for one of the reported problems and, when they couldn’t find it, they didn’t charge me for the time they’d spent. I’m not sure how many other professions would choose not to start the clock in similar circumstances.
While checking the second issue, they did spot something else going on with another tyre. They couldn’t fix that particular problem themselves, and because it was the Christmas/New Year period, the business that could was closed. Even so, the team at Bob Jane’s took steps to minimise the issue so my family member could still safely use the car until they could get to a repairer of their choice.
Marlon, the front-of-house team member, explained everything in plain language — what they’d found, what they’d done to reduce the problem for now, and what the options were for a full repair. For just a few dollars, the ride in the car when my family member returned was noticeably better.
Bob Jane Shellharbour had high standards when I first started going there, and they haven’t let them slip.
I have never had anything to do with Bob Jane before, well my inaugural experience with the Shellharbour crew was exceptional. What a great crew, so polite and curtious. STOP THE PRESS!! Amazing Team at the Shellharbour Store. Had 2 vehicles with punctures. Drove into Bob Jane's T Mart I had no appointment. They squeezed me in. Booked for my 2nd car for next day, my tank had a nail in the tyre. Bob Jane T Mart fixed this tyre for free. Highly recommend the team in Shellharbour. Show reply

Excellent customer service – Called in for puncture repair @ 10 in the morning- no prior booking. Immediately repaired within the 30 minute allowance. All tyres inspected including spare. Had a nice look around the other shops in complex whilst waiting. Polite respectful interactions with 2 staff members. I will use these guys again for new tyres in future if they can match competition for price as their customer service was excellent Show reply

Make sure you know what you are getting – After advertising price match I purchased 4 Kumho tyres. They did not have any tyres in stock so I had to place a $100 deposit. Notified of tyres arriving and attended and had them fitted. Went to pay and after a number of attempts I paid the full amount as the staff were unable to work out how to deduct the deposit and was told that the $100… Read more
would be refunded via electronic bank deposit. Waited a week and had not received it. Contacted the manager who stated he would chase it up. He never got back to me. Attended in person a week later and was told the deposit had been accredited to some other purchase. Was told they would need a week to sort it out. No contact made with me. After two weeks I attended and said I wasn''t leaving until I received the $100. Took 45 minutes for this to occur. With all my other tyre purchases, rotations have been included in the sales price. Rang up to book in rotation and was told that because I did not get a wheel alignment it would be cost $25. What an absolute joke. First and last time purchasing tyres there.

hint of "I've got other work piling up and you're asking me all these questions! ". They run a tight ship and it manifests itself in their professionalism and first rate customer service. I'm sure, on the law of averages, one of their staff was having a bad day.....if they were....they certainly didn't show it. A first time user of this company.....the only annoyance? Why did it take me so long to give them a try.
