I was charged $99 for a wheel alignment for a 4WD but they didn’t complete any alignment at all. the expert”. There was no before and after printout or even hand written sheet provided. We had travelled back past and the car was ready to collect, with yellow thank you tag in the window, in less than 25 minutes after being dropped off. There’s still very noticeable positive camber on the front wheels and I need to ‘trust’ that this is within the allowable specs and will not prematurely wear my new tyres. Oh and the guy serving questioned us on “why we hadn’t purchased the tyres from them, we sell that brand !” Why ? Because you couldn’t be bothered replying to my online quote request (wheels and tyres), that’s why! This is all a shame because I’ve been purchasing high performance tyres from these guys for over 10 years, and have had great experiences in the past. They’ve really dropped the ball lately. For $99 for a front wheels only alignment (rear is not adjustable solid axle) I expect that they will get the alignment as good as possible, not just ‘accept’ it’s ’close enough’ to not complete any alignment but still charge the maximum fee. Apparently they have attempted to contact me, to resolve this issue, but not one message was left. I wouldn’t actually trust them to touch my car again anyway. I won’t be back and no more recommendations from me.

Called ahead whilst waiting for RAA with a flat tryre. Told to bring straight in and leave car with them to fit in. A potential day wait and lifts to work turned to only 20 mins after a quick look found a screw. Team fixed it on the spot. Not impressed! – Dropped off tyre for puncture repair at 8am Friday, rang inquiring about progress at 3pm and was told they would ring when ready. Nothing on Saturday so went down Monday 8am and was told they only had two staff. so soon! Apart from the fact that there’s an 80 mph limit on the spare, what do you do if you do get another flat, get a tow truck? Picked up the flat tyre and took it to Midas Firle who had it sorted in 30 minutes. If Bob Janes had told me that they were busy I would have gone elsewhere.
