From the first contact I had with Bob Jane in Ringwood, Nick was helpful and polite and considered my perspective and the stress of having a flat tyre. Once in store, he calmly went through all the options and made a recommendation for my situation. The service was efficient and I was back on the road in under three hours. Extremely disappointing experience. I placed a phone order during a Black Friday sale for tyres that were not in stock and was clearly told a refund would be available if I needed to replace my tyres while waiting. From that point on, obtaining a refund became a prolonged and stressful process. Over more than a month, I was given constantly changing and contradictory information — asked for bank details, then told refunds must be done in store; told no refund was possible because the tyres weren’t in stock; later told a refund would only be possible once stock arrived; and finally refused a refund in store due to technicalities, despite the original payment being taken over the phone.

The store manager, [Name Removed], was dismissive and rude in his interactions, ignored follow-ups, and repeatedly shifted responsibility onto the customer. The lack of professionalism and accountability was very frustrating.

I would strongly caution others when dealing with this store, particularly for phone orders or items that are not in stock.

The customer service was excellent, even it was Saturday and they were fully booked, they still fit me in and fix my flat tyre, the staff was really helpful,has a good sense of humor. Really appreciated! Show details ·  1

Not only did Anthony organise the solution to our complex situation skilfully, but while I was waiting, I couldn’t help but notice how well he managed the many other customers who kept coming in to the showroom in a constant stream, while also handling phone calls, and so often multi-tasking between different customers. Anthony has an excellent customer service manner; he speaks courteously and confidently to everyone, including to the occasional mechanic from the workshop. One incident also revealed Anthony’s talent at managing difficult situations: he skilfully handled one customer’s insistent aggressiveness, both in the showroom and then in two subsequent phone calls made by the rude customer to Anthony; Anthony maintained his self-control - it would have been a master class for any other service personnel to have witnessed. On the day I was there, Anthony was alone in the showroom - it must have been a taxing day for him. I hope that Bob Jane Tyres appreciate Anthony for his impressive knowledge, expertise and customer service skills, and also for his pleasantness as a person.

Excellent work – I dropped in late one afternoon with some nails in my tyres. I expected a large bill but this was definitely not the case. They were so helpful and friendly. They checked over my car and said they could repair my tyres and suggested a wheel rotation. They then kindly directed me to the waiting area offering me refreshments. Outstanding service! – This afternoon I dropped into the Ringwood store to have trailer tyre repaired. The inflation stem had perished, leaving the tyre flat. Despite obviously being busy, the guy behind the counter went out to my car, picked up the wheel, replaced the stem, inflated the tyre, and put it back in my car.
