We had a faulty gas bottle, BOC were to replace free of charge. They turned up today with no new gas bottle, driver said he did not have any. Only took the old one away. Whilst he was here he also ran into 5 of our bollards, and left the scene without speaking with anyone in our business. Very careless and dangerous driving.
I requested all the products and they gave me the day they would deliver. I told them there I couldn't take it more than 2 days over the day they said they would deliver, but a person named Paula promised me it would be delivered. 2 days and did not the the cylinder. End up buying in a different company in a rush. Then returning the equipment and getting the money back was even worse. Although everything was returned using their own service, they still send me invoices about the cylinder, since they don't know where it is. Honestly, the worst company I have dealt in my life.
One of the worst company to deal with. The customer service is based in Philippines who do not understand what is going on. We did not receive the nitrogen tank and called them many times to find out that the parcel was lost in transit by BOC. I cancelled the order as we could not wait for so long. I filled the request form for a refund and today we received an invoice for a credit.

I had a problem with my mig welder and Alan went to great lengths to get it sorted – The guys in the shop in Canningvale are amazing. Great service. Alan at Malaga is awesome, fantastic service. Absolutely atrocious. I own and operate a small bar, ordered a small cylinder of beer gas, never arrived, although delivery was said to have been delivered and empties collected. complimentary bottle eventually. Problem solved..until..received statement indicating we had both bottles on site and owed for them. Spent 3 months going back and forth with different people every single time trying to amend cylinder holdings, even got to the point where they’d sent debt collectors after me for said debt for bottle they’d never delivered. Problem resolved finally after about 4 months. Do not use this awful company.
Spent over an hour at their store because of account issues stopping me from picking up a bottle. poor communication over the phone. Told 3 different things by 3 different people ending in me eventually getting the bottle I needed after 1 HOUR. Poorly managed and cost me time and money. No apologies or explanation.
What has happened BOC? several times as have had no confirmation of when the cylinders will be picked up. Called twice today still don't have a clue as to when and just keep getting false promises and apologies. I can't stay home each day waiting just in case the truck decides to turn up and the day I don't it will and I miss the pickup and all this crap starts again. It really was once a formidable Gas and Equipment supplier with a very competent technical representatives.

Don't fall for BOC's short term rental scam. Just buy your own cylinder elsewhere. Most expensive gas retailer in the country. Poor customer service with staff rarely knowing the answers to questions. (Most likely from the high staff turnover)

Worst company to deal with. They try to overcharge and will keep sending bills long after your account is closed – I dealt with this company yearsago and swore i would never go back. into an aged care facility. I received the bottles and returned them fine but had to purchase a regulator as the other supplier requested this back. We retained the regulator after the bottles were returned to make sure Dad had a backup regulator. When convinced that all was OK - I returned the regulator to the store. I went onto Dads account and paid what I thought was the final bill on the 27/7/2023. when double checking all was OK there was a charge - on the 30/08/2023 there was an overdue bill - I ran and spoke to a service representative. I told them I had returned it. I told them the name of the store representative that I returned it to. Thinking it was settled. They then proceeded to charge me - so I contacted again and recorded the conversation - the help desk customer service representative said that a case had been recorded and a specialist will contact me today or tomorrow. Two weeks later I finally get a call and now have a bill is being placed in the hands of a dept collector. The specialist said get the local distributor to send through the shipping note. He was rude - obnoxious and no assistance at all (I could name him but won't). I went to the local distributor and he remembered me coming in as it was his first return where he got the boss to show him what to do. I ended up paying the bill as it was in my Dads name and has always had a perfect credit rating. Finally the local dealer rang his direct agent trying to sort this. In the mean time I had email a name to the "Expert" who returned the same answer - "Get him to return the shipping note". I returned and said - "Why can't you do it?" Finally the matter was resolved only because of the local representative and yet never received a refund for the previous bills dating back to when I returned it. They did find the regulator. My Father passed on the 26/11/2023 8-( NOW I have asked on the 5/2/2024 for my fathers account to be closed because he had passed - I am back in the hands of a specialist - as expected NOTHING AS YET. It is now the 14/2/2024 and this is the constant message you will receive "A Customer Service Specialist will contact you shortly with an update on your enquiry."
NEVER EVER DEAL with BOC - if you do you will be discussed, disappointed, aggravated and sorry you ever did.
Poorest service we’ve had in a long time – If I could leave 0 stars we would. Called seeking assistance to buy / collect an oxygen bottle holder with some urgency. Incompetent or simply don't care – Long story short. We have been told by BOC that they have provided a refund for an Oxygen Concentrator that was never delivered. This company will not be around for much longer – Excessive rental prices 390 dollars for rental on a co2 bottle per year! After 20 years of paying I decided to go and see them they told me I could have had it for 79 dollars a year!!!!!

the tracking number that proves the order has been sent out, I do not believe it was sent out at all. I think BOC ignore my cancellation request & therefore forcing me to buy their product. to court when you can proove they are in the wrong. Then I had ghost cylinders on my account because their stock control system is antiquated and hopeless. Today, I returned my last cylinder and they didn't let me down. Their system was offline. Their cylinder rental is excessive. The price of their welders and plasma cutters disgraceful given where they are made (they aint a Lincoln or a Miller). I bought a plasma cutter from them, lasted 3 weeks. They refunded the torch but not the plasma cutter. I could go on with many more examples. I was finally able to swap to CORE gas. There is no rental, the gas price is competetive and there is no 1990's online accounting system to deal with. I wouldn't recommend BOC for anything. If you have to use them for welding gas, do yourself a favour and get a WIA stick welder, it will be easier.
By far the worst customer experience I have ever encountered in my life – Can't follow instructions to call 30 mins earlier. Booking times messed up on 3 seperate occaisions. Can't arrange delivery to a hospitality area. 10 days from payment to any kind of response. This is the worst customer service I have ever in my life encountered. The worst.
Hang their head in shame – By far the worst customer service one could experience. Emails are never replied to. Phone calls put on hold for hours. No possibility of speaking to anyone about incorrect invoicing. This organisation should be avoided at all costs. They are a corporate disgrace and should hang their head in shame.

Verbally and physically attacked – Was given wrong bottle of gas I use medical oxygen but was given a dangerous gas instead when I complained I was verbally and physically threatened by their manager named [Name Removed]. I complained to HR but didn’t even receive an apology. Worst company to deal with but have no other choice as I need my medical oxygen.
BOC THE BUSINESS FROM HELL – BOC are very quick to send your information to the debt collector, They cannot prove that that made gas delivery ...it has taken 6 months via NSW Fair trading to get sorted.. The AUSTRALIAN TAX Office is now very interested in they way BOC gas operate in regards to their Accounts System BOC gas use the ROBO Debt system charge you for goods you do not receive.....
Are they a scam? – Invoices paid, but show as unpaid on statement. No response to multiple enquiries - just overdue fees, threats to block account and to refer the 'debt' to a collection agency.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced – Returned my gas bottle months ago and still receive overdue bills. BOC keep raising cases but there is never any response to them. Global business with no interest for customer care or service. Profit margins for a minimum service – I had three different bottles used for welding for over 20 years. offered a reduced payment of $164.00 again with no explanation what is the charge for. Department of Fair Trading is the next step should they insist on payment....... However it is safe to conclude that the company is being run with no regards to service and customer care, they service is less than poor, their products are over priced to the extent of rip off and their moto seems to be: get as much money as possible with a least amount of service and care.

hey,, it's not rent. What a load of rubbish. It's just rent with a different name. Handed back all 4 of my E bottles and went out and bought Pure Gas E bottles from Bunnings. Now I can pick up a bottle whenever I like and not have to wait for the BOC agent. Plus, if it takes me 2 years to empty my Argon bottle, I've not had to pay 2 x $199 for the privilege of having it. Their fees might include one free fill a year but if you're a low consumer of gas, it's just another bill for "rent" you don't need.

don not waste your money – I am in late 60s and I guess I was hoping for some miracle to help fade my lines and tighten my skin around my neck but unfortunately after 4 weeks of use there is no difference at all. I think possibly the great ratings it gets from some users are alot younger than myself. Disappointing and a waste of money.
Overcharged by BOC and will not show payments made on statements – Avoid BOC like the plague. Call centre people lie all the time. They overcharge on bottle rental, do not show the payments made on the statements. Impossible to get the truth out of them.

the way i have described, the person would not have it. Instead he pushed me away and did not try to help me at all, insisting instead that i need to go further out of my way to buy their products. This is a classic case of poor customer service people in a role AND not providing customer service. Recommend BOC addresses its people in these roles and ensures that they are committed to customer satisfaction.

Very useless company – Took my cylinder for refill with a special gas mixture for laboratory use. For three months, they kept saying that the cylinder is not ready. After much pushing, I was told that it was released to another client. To date no solution being offered.
Delay of delivery – They claim as leader however no two salesperson has given me correct eta...instead they just keep saying next week for the last 3 weeks. And guess what i got another reply saying its this week or lastest next week again! Wow theae guys can t even own up to their mistakes..just blaim it on Covid.
