Very disappointed – It lasted 4 months! At first it produced reasonable grounds and I maintained it as directed but the motor started making strange noises and stopped grinding. Trying to contact Bodum Australia but so far only recorded message. Will probably cut my losses and bin it!
Purchased in at Catch for $108.
No more Bodum for me – My white coffee grinder needed cleaning. The grinding is okay - as expected. I contacted Bodum to ask what I can clean it with and they told me they had issues with the discolouration and difficulty cleaning with some items as you can't use cleaning products on it. A could care less attitude - no assistance and no interest. Terrible customer service. Never buying Bodum again.

Works well for me – I've had this coffee grinder for a couple of years now, but only rarely used it up until a few months ago, so I can't comment on it's longevity of service. What I can tell you is it grinds perfectly well for me. One must take note, as stated in the manual, that this model should not be operated continuously for more than 60 seconds, as it will cause overheating of the motor. (Can you believe that!) After 60 seconds you must leave it for another 60 seconds to cool down and you can go again. Nonetheless, this works out OK for me as my grinding requirement is about three bursts of 20 seconds, and the grind is perfect for drip coffee machines. For an espresso, which I sometimes have, you need to grind a little longer, and you do have to brush out the remaining coffee that gets stuck, because more of the oil content comes out with the extra grinding, but it only takes a few seconds to do, so all is just fine. I recommend this product, especially if you use if for drip or plunger extraction.

Absolute RUBBISH... You may as well just throw your money away!!! – Saw the grinder at a friends place and bought the same... Shortly after they asked if we had bought one and advised that after just over 12 months of light use... theirs had died! Just over 12 months of very light domestic use ours has also died... OVERPRICED RUBBISH! Buy anything else!
Pretty on your kitchen counter but has it's problems – I've had my Bodum Bistro grinder for about 15 months now. When it worked, it was pretty awesome. However it started having problems from month 9 onwards - the little start/stop button sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. I found that I had to clean the grinder from beans that seem to jam the motor up (or maybe it's just me) before it started working again, and even then intermittently. I guess you get what you pay for, considering it's an affordable home-use grinder but surely it should last for at least 2-3 years without issue. For a brand well-known for it's coffee/tea plungers and knick-knacks, this one kinda slides down the "almost fail" list...
