Quality is made in China... nuff said – They don't last, quality is horrible. Left the store with 2 to discover the threading was already coming undone and 1 has a massive hole. Sick of brands charging through the roof for low quality items Show details

Perfect for newborns, babies and toddlers – Love the option to have hands or feet in (or out), good size - fits babies of different body types well (I’ve had three v. diff kids). Zips both ways. Lasts well. Easy to layer up or down. Comfy and cute for daywear or nightwear or naps. Best bought on sale. Show details

Quality has definitely gone down hill – Use to love the bonds suits when my son was first born (2019) daughter was born in 2021 and the quality is just terrible now, you can feel the difference between the material and all the newer ones have ripped at the seams, while the older ones are still going strong. No longer purchase the bonds. Peter Alexander want onesies are made from good quality material so prefer them now days Show details

The First Wardrobe Essentials – Affordable, Durable and godsent product for babies dealing with eczema. Bond wondersuit is made from cotton which helped regulate my sons body temperature, as he runs hot and prone to heat rashes. I love the wondersuit & wondercool range, because it not only cuts laundry but also changing outfits time down where I do not need to think about the… Read more

outfit. I normally put all the wondersuits in a gentle wash with baby detergent, help prevent discoloration and supports longevity of the product. Until my baby boy can independently change and choose his outfits, I will continue to use Bonds Wondersuits for his daily wear.

Fantastic – Great suits, I use these with my twins all year round. The poodlette (towelly material) is perfect for winter time. The only downside is that it does take a bit of effort to get one of the legs out because of how the zipper is placed, however I've found it helps to unzip from the top rather than the bottom to get around this issue. variety of prints, would enjoy more neutral prints in future. I get loads of them from Coles, they sometimes have them on sale for as low as $11-13 each.

Convenient and colourful – I’ve only bought a few of these suits but what I love is the built in mittten and foot coverings. The designs are pretty out there, and it would be nice if they had some neutral designs. I’d also love to see a layering chart on the packaging to know what temperature suits a wonder suit +- singlet etc similar to what sleeping swaddles have. I think their prices are too high and should be more around the $20 mark. Show details

Hand openings way too tight – I love bonds babysuits as they are great for bed and don't bunch up when holding baby. I do want to mention though that the hand openings are way to small and tight. My husband and I worry all the time that we are going to bend his fingers trying to get his hands through. I also agree that the leg is also too tight.. again really needing to bend to get it in. We sized up because of this but it didnt make much difference to the problem Show details

Poor quality fabric – The fabric is very thin. It is actually hard to change infant without moving them so much because it's hard to get leg out from non zipper side with stretching the wondersuits alot. Wondersuit offer no tog rating either. I bought 10 of them thinking it would be good for winter PJs but without ratings I have had to buy longsleeve body suits to put underneath costing me more money.  Show details

Must have – The only thing my baby wore the first 6 months as she had eczema. The suits are made from cotton which meant they were perfect for her sensitive skin. The foldable mittens were great to stop her from itching herself and had that added safety feature of being able to have the mittens on while sleeping (you can’t leave normal mittens not attached to… Read more

suit on as baby could choke on them). Baby hated being changed and the double zip, still, at 9 months, is an absolute life saver.

PROS: - double zip - foldable mittens and socks - cute unisex prints - bonds usually does a 40% off sale (yay) - cotton

CONS: - they do fade and get holes (eventually) - I felt the leg portion was quite short? Like the suit still fit my baby but I couldn’t make use of the sock portion at some point, but sizing up would mean the suit is very big - short sleeve version with shorts is not double zip

A staple for my baby.

Good suits but colour fades horribly – These suits are only good because of the convenient top to toe zip. The fabric/design is clearly poor quality because the colours fade really badly after just a couple of washes (and baby clothes need washed a lot). Honestly after two washes they look old and washed out, nothing like they did when you first buy them. Don't be fooled by their cute… Read more

designs and colours, they don't last! There are plenty of other stores/online retailers that do zip onesies with much better fabrics.

Good but don’t understand the hype over them – So I purchased some bonds zippys when they were on sale after many people said how good they were. I think they are quite thin and seem to fade a fair bit after washing them. They also seem to bunch up a bit when Bub is sitting down on the zip. They’re not bad but I think I will only ever purchase again If they have a good sale. Show details

Discolouration after 2 washes – Pre washed onesie before bubs wore it, bubs wore once, washed second time, colour faded/discoloured on both arm cuffs and 1 foot cuff, no other fading/discolouration anywhere else to onesie. Told bonds how item was washed sent in and was told I must of bleached it and wasnt a fault in product (cold water wash, lux soap, 1/4 scoop napisan… Read more

varnish(for colours)) All bubs items are washed the same way together and this is the only bonds item we have that its happened to. Bonds have refused to replace there item. Im happy to spend my $$ on other brands that this doesnt happen to after 2 washes! Cant return to big w without a receipt, will post pictures once item has been returned by bonds!

Terrific design, an excellent staple... and Bonds is ethical! – A friend gifted me with a Bonds Zip Wondersuit when I was pregnant, saying that she found it was the most practical onesie for her now 4 yo. Six months later, when Baby was able to fit into the Wondersuit, I texted her: she was right. I stocked up on five or six more. Pros Design. Features a strong, quality two way zip for easy nappy changes,… Read more

plus fold-over hands AND feet. The feet I found were a great advantage: when Baby was a bit too small for the onesie, I was able to roll up the legs and simply pop socks on. No more attached booties flopping at the ends of the legs. The material is nice and stretchy as well, and is comfy for Baby. Fit is a little big for my bubba, which means there's a bit more room to grow (and more wear) out of each Wondersuit.

Patterns. There is a HUGE range to suit everyone's taste, from the more subtle and traditional pastel stripes to bold and colourful animals.

Affordable. Wondersuits retail at $24.95, which is already reasonable. When they have their (regular) 40% off sales, you can pick up a Wondersuit at under $15. A steal!

Availability. Super easy to order Wondersuits from their website. Or Big W. Or Best & Less. Or Myer. Or Coles. Or just... everywhere.

Sustainable. Bonds can perhaps promote this about their brand a little more. I shop consciously, supporting organic and/or fairtrade businesses, and shy away from big brands. Bonds proves that a big, iconic brand can be ethical as well! Although there is room for improvement (eg: use of wool and mohair without specifying the source) Bonds traces its supply chain and pays a living wage, and aims to reduce its carbon emissions by 40% by 2020. There is no forced or child labour used in their production! Bonds also partners with Australian Cotton to source sustainable raw fibres that, according to them, has increased water efficiency by 40% over the past decade. Bonds rates a very commendable "A" in the Ethical Fashion Report. Excellent for a big brand.

Cons

The material is a little thin. On cold days, I have to layer with cardigans and track pants if I want to put a Wondersuit on Baby.

The zipper doesn't come undone all the way at the top (ie, it's close-ended at the top). To take the Wondersuit off, I always have to drag the zips down to the feet. Not a big deal... except when she's writhing and screaming (she hates being changed).

I personally would love to see Bonds committing to organic cotton for all their clothing, not just a few items. Organic cotton wondersuit? Ten please!!

Versatile & Great – we really like how the feet and hands can be folded over or left open. BONDS seem to always fit a little bigger too which is good for us because our baby is very long. Show details

Perfect for baby – Wonder suits are always the perfect fit. Versatile hand/feet options. Just the right amount of thickness in the fabric. Awesome and colourful designs. Easy to put on and off baby. Two way zip makes nappy changing easy. Baby always looks extremely cute and comfy in bonds wonder suits. Good for day or night.

Fantastic – The Bonds Zip Wondersuits are absolutely fantastic. So easy to dress you baby/child. The designs the Bonds Zip Wondersuits are available in suit both boys and girls and are so vibrant and colourful. Sizing is good. Available from many stores so shop around for a bargain, however they are reasonably priced.

Simply One piece suit – OMG! It is really handy when I go put with my 5month old boy. Unlike other brand..the other brand has only one zip most of them. It means that, I need to take him off all whenever I change nappy. Bonds which has 2 zippers mean, one dress but can open only bottom. Moreover the feeling..nice and clean in&out bothside. Other brand specially, more… Read more

Bonds Addict! – After slowly collecting Bonds baby wondersuits (aka. zippys) during my pregnancy and then quickly becoming obsessed with them when my son was born, I have a big collection of them now. Especially during winter, they are all my son wears as they are so accommodating and warm, even fitting easily over his cloth nappy bum. I adore Bonds baby clothing as they are of extremely high quality and come in many different designs, prints and colours.

Poor Quality – I have already sewn up one brand new zippy before my baby got to ever wear it. Very thin material and stitching is of poor quality. Bonds sizing doesn't seem to be consistent with other stores sizing. eg3-6 m 00 from Bonds is so much larger than Target, Big W, Cotton On, Aldi etc. Bonds is not worth the price tag and similar outfits from Cotton on and Aldi have lasted so much longer than Bonds.

Really handy – I really LOVE these wondersuits! My toddler has been using them since they were a few months old and still wears them to bed now. The double zip is a great idea, especially in winter which means you don't have to undress for a nappy change. I do find the sizing tends to run a little big though so can be a little hard when buying online to know which size will fit best.

Nice patterns, Nice fabric, Cool in summer, Double zips – Love the zippy wondersuits. They look really nice on bub, the fabric is soft and cool for QLD summers, they have the fold over feet and mittens which are good for newborns, the patterns are always changing and are fun. Easy to change bub in and out of (not sure why people are complaining about getting the legs in lol, its not rocket science and a… Read more

lot of suits are the same design). Great if you can get them on sale - bonds online often have 40% off etc which helps.

Hate them – Do not be fooled into thinking zips are easier and stock up on these when pregnant like I did. I struggled to get bubs' leg into the leg that had no zip, and the whole thing was ill-fitting. Maybe they're made for larger chested babies, because they always gaped around the neck for us. The fold over feet were also too small and impractical. The Bonds Newbies were so much better.

Love the double zip for quick & easy nappy changes! – I love the Bonds double Zip Wondersuits! I bought a bunch of these on sale for my newborn (0000) and have already purchased the 0-3 months on sale already for when she's grown out of the NB sizes. The double zip makes nappy changing on a cold winter's day/night so much easier. The fold over mittens and booties are great for keeping my bub… Read more

extra warm too.

I also really like that the zip cover at the top actually covers the zip. Other zip-up suits I have purchased, purely for aesthetic reasons, have zip covers but they never actually cover it properly and I worry that these zips will scratch her face.

Best onesie style suit out there – I LOVE these! The fabric is gorgeous and soft, the cuffs are awesome, although a bit hard to get the hands through. I find they do run the slightest bit big, and are enormous compared to the traditional wondersuits with the studs (which run very small). I just bought a heap at Bonds while they were on sale, and also got some to give to two… Read more

friends overseas who both just had bubs. I am wondering how she'll go in the summer with the heat, but I've bought some in a few sizes to get the most wear out of them. right now my 5kg 60cm long girl is in 000 and they are still a bit big on her, although they say they go to 62cm and 6kg, I think she'll get more wear out of them than that before we switch to 00.

EDITED TO UPDATE: my daughter is nearly 3yo in August. she still wears wondersuits as PJs! they do last much longer than the traditional sizing. she was in a size 1 until she was nearly 2. she's nearly 3 and wearing the size 2s still. same with my son who is now 18mo. he could still squeeze into a 0 without the feet covered, but a size 1 fits him perfectly now, but most other clothes he's getting a bit big for 1s. so they run huge. They are comfy, perfect weight for late summer/early autumn and spring. a bit too warm for summer, but they have the short style rompers for summer that we sleep in here. we do layer a flannelette twin set over the top during winter for both kids. :) my friends overseas loved them so much that when the 2nd bubs came along they ordered from bonds bc they now ship internationally! best in the world I guess!

Good quality easy to wear – I love bonds products because the material is good quality: soft, stretchy and well made. I prefer the zips to the buttons as it's easier to use. The new suits have a double siz which is handy to change nappy without exposing too much of baby. I prefer to sell them online when on sale because I do think $20 each is a bit expensive. I have a couple… Read more

I consider this close to the perfect suit – My 10week old has been wearing her bonds wondersuit 000 since we brought her home. Initially it was long in the legs and arms, but she has grown into it now, at 5.6kg it fits her perfectly. Being my first baby I did not appreciate how much easier zippers would be compared to press studs (especially in the middle of the night in the dark or very… Read more

dimmed light for nappy changes). Yet, it is surprisingly difficult to find zipper suits outside Bonds and Purebaby brands. I also like the cuffs for hands and feet, so you have cuffs at night and hands and feet exposed during the day if you want.

I don't find getting the limbs in any more or less difficult then any other brand. My girl has chunky thighs and loves to kick, but we still manage to get them in the legs and through the holes no problem. Zip, hand and feet cuffs, and well priced, especially when on sale.

What's with the funny feet and arm holes? – These are good sleep suits in the sense that they are soft, stretchy and have a zip which means no fiddling with snaps. But the feet and hand holes are so annoying! They are just too hard to get bubs arms and legs through and mine isn't even a real wriggler. Zip is easier than snaps The feet and hand holes are just annoying
