PRS9A6D70A-Faulty – I Purchased a BOSCH cooktop the latest series in Nov 2022 for my new house and started to use in May 2023. Within 2 months time, defects started to come into effect. arise and also auto ignition did not work properly. It worked sometime and sometime not. I emailed to the company again. The customer service said to organise technician again, but I don’t want him again and again to rapair. I paid to purchase the new cooktop and if it has defects, company needs to take the responsibility and replace it or refund. Within 3 months time, It happened. This cooktop is faulty. I am very disappointed and frustrated with BOSCH. I relied on the company and purchase BOSCH appliances for my new house. I never recommend this to anyone now. When technician had fixed the issue, it still came up. It means the cooktop is faulty.

Inferior quality – Thought I was upgrading, but no comparison to my 21 year old real SS cooktop. This is not a cleaning matter, just disgusted, will never recommend to anyone, I am so so sorry with the choice, after sales service was ridiculous, never ever ever buy Bosch ,I feel sick to my stomach every day when I use it and have to look at this piece of inferior appliance

Poor heat quality - we had to install larger gas nozzles at our own cost – The heat quality was very poor. Not much difference between high and low. We rang Bosch and they told us we had to get the installer back to check the install before they would come and look at it. It is hard to get trades at the moment. When the plumber came back he fixed the problem by putting in larger gas nozzles. This was extra cost, time and stress for us. It works now, but I wonder how long for. Show details

No good after sales service – The grid quality is very very poor. The most sturdiest part of the appliance is very delicate. It came broken and when asked to redeliver it came broken again. Thought it was cast iron but very cheap quality for such a Brand name. Show details

supports are stained with cooking fat even after cleaning. i have looked after this product but it now looks old and dull. i have no choice now but to price replacement parts to bring it back to life. it was the feature of the kitchen.

Perfectly made gas cook top! – This Bosch gas cooktop is both functional and very smart looking. Well made quality appliance! The control is very progressive, which gives you excellent heat control. one, is the time it takes to clean it thoroughly after you use it, which really is no different to any other gas cook top. Regarding all the reviews with heat control issues and scratching, I would strongly recommend reading the manual & paying attention to the do’s and don’t’s especially with regard to using, cleaning and caring for the appliance. I can imagine a number of issues are user faults rather then the appliances fault. Ours is 2 years old and it’s used every day and we don’t have one scratch on the glass! If you do have any issue with your appliance I have found Bosch to stand by their product and go beyond what is reasonably expected to keep customers happy! Bosch is a quality made product and I definitely recommend it! Just to add I don’t work for or have any affiliation with Bosch, other then a happy customer of theirs!

So NON innovative, impossible logic, hard to cook on burns everything. Multiple pans won't fit at one time – The burners turn ANTI clockwise...and everytime I try to turn them on in the intuitive direction of clockwise i fail. The flames and heat is extreme, the lowest setting is too hot, there is no low or mid range of heat. It goes from hot to charred burning hot and EVERYTHING over cooks. Those knobs going in the wrong direction have annoyed me so much I turned them off just now and searched for this site to off load the frustration that getting a new cook top like this has destroyed my hope to cook more often and try new recipes. Forget it. Too hard. Everything burns.

What a disappointment for a brand name that used to be the leader in making kitchen appluances that inspire people to cook.

My landlord bought this as I rent and gee I hate to let him know all this...

Cooktop flame doesn't adjust – The adjustment doesn't adjust, it doesn't go high enough or low enough. On the wok setting burner it is difficult to get the heat powered up. I don't know if it has the wring jets or what. Show details

they got back with suggestion of sending a cleaner to try. but it's almost 3 weeks and nothing received even by following up and no response. my friends are doing their kitchen and I advised them not to even think of Bosch brand which looks it's a dead brand with a terrible customer service.

Looked good until used - impossible to clean and glass scratches – I'm really disappointed with my brand new Bosch gas cooktop. Like another customer, I have minute scratches in the glass after only a few uses. The top of the burners are impossible to clean and one of the trivets already has some of the galvanised coating missing and looks rusted. Bad Quality Control and Bad Service – Bought Bosch cooktop PPS9A6B90A two weeks ago. Received cooktop with the bent spivot for one knob. Bosch instead of replacing this faulty unit with the new one, which I demanded, sent an agent who in an attempt to repair it, completely broke this part. Love the product – Easy to clean, not needing much detergent to clean because of the glass finish. Like the style. Beautiful look with the dark glass finish... I can easily remove the plate parts. Love it – Compared to my old ceran cooktop, this is heaven. It has a nice dark glass finish which looks amazing and is not overly difficult to clean (for those buying, I've found a cream cleaner to be the most effective compared to kitchen sprays). Easy to clean and looks very smart – The gas cooktop has lots of different options for different sized pots and even has a wok plate. There is instant heat from the easy to turn on dials. The black glass top looks very smart and is easy to clean, due to all the hot plate parts being easily removed.  Show details ·  1
