Bozzy are now Retractable – Unfortunately Bozzy has had to close there doors early this year. however one of there employees has started a company called Retractable. Although they are different they do offer some of the same products as Bozzy did.

Bozzy Shades are officially insolvent 15th Jan – I had shade blinds installed by Bozzy in December. The only complaint I had was the mechanism of one was not working properly. They asked me to wait till after Christmas to get the problem fixed which I did. Now I find out administrators were appointed on 15th Jan. I’ve gotten off lightly as I think there will be others who have paid money and don’t have blinds. Show details

Worst after sales service – Unfortunately they were installed incorrectly and multiple phone calls but no help and now their number is disconnected. Have tried to contact them but no luck They sent a letter before Christmas to say they were coming but I think that was a delay tactic. Show details

Still waiting – First contact with Bozzy Blinds was the 17th October 2018 regarding some storm damage to one of our existing blinds, to which we were told to download and fill in a claim form. damaged blind, stating that it was an easy weld type repair and it would be returned at the latest in two weeks. Then four weeks later and so close to Christmas of 2018, we were still waiting for the return of the blind and when my sister contacted them again, they said that they were closing for Christmas and that it would not be returned until early 2019. Now there is no answer of their phones, no web page to contact them on and all we want is the return of our blind, which had been paid for years before. By not returning our blind, not returning our calls, their intent is to not return it. This is stealing.

Lost all our money and no blinds provided – We were asked to pay 50% deposit in November 2018 which was over $3000. We paid. Bozzy kept coming out so many times to remeasure. We were promised blinds by Christmas 2018. They then demanded the full payment totalling over $6000. Which we paid. They set up yet another installation date of 9th January 2019. No one showed up On 15 January my husband went to their office. A removalist van was there clearing out their office. The removalist said they’ve gone bust. So we have lost all our money. We initially thought they were grossly incompetent, now we realise they were committing fraud, taking money knowing they would not be supplying our blinds. We are devastated and embarrassed that we fell for their lies.

Good product, bad service – I'll start with the positives - the motorised blind is excellent and keeps my west facing room nice and cool in summer. (even factoring in the electrician expense). Now for the negatives... they wanted a 50% deposit for the order (which is fine) but they wanted the remaining 50% paid the day BEFORE the install (which I didn't do and definitely don't recommend). I paid extra for a remote control with a timed function, but was told on the day of install that the remote control I paid for wasn't available. It took more than a month to finally get the remote and bizarrely they wanted to charge me extra for it (despite already having paid). What makes this a 2 star review (and not a 3 or 4 star review) is that the folding arms for my blind were only screwed into weatherboard and not anything more substantial. The first little bit of wind pulled the folding arm clean off the wall and made the blind un-usable. I knew the after-service is pretty much non-existent so I fixed the blind myself by attaching the folding arm to a solid piece of timber in my wall. If you decide to go ahead with this company, make sure you ask questions about how securely the blind is affixed to your wall! And definitely don't expect a good after sales service.

Beware shocking after sales service – Payed nearly $2,00.00 for 2 x motorised outdoor blinds. On installation day I had to take the day off work, they had the wrong size so had to schedule another day to install and another day off work. few months ago same thing, rang them I filled out a warranty claim form first week in Nov. Didn't hear from them so called them a couple a few weeks later they said it can take up to 4 weeks form lodgement. Rang again first week of December they said it wouldn't be until late January, because the urgent call outs are their priority.

I said what makes a job urgent? there reply was when they have fallen down and a danger to some one....

so frustrating!!!

still have not heard from them....

had been with the company a long time.

Our roof system is 35m2 in size and required 3 posts to be installed. The installers managed to get everything up in a day and came back the following day to complete the finals tasks. No problems with the install.

Every time we have friends and family over they all can't believe how cool our roof system is :) Taking into consideration the roof is waterproof and rated to handle winds up to 120kmh I believe we chose the perfect product to cover our new deck.

Thank you Bozzy for providing such an amazing product with a friendly service.

Fabulous product with excellent service – Installed Bella Vista classic blinds on my veranda to block wind. Have been fabulous and save my deck from sun and rain too. Service was great. Bob gave me all information needed and was quick to install.

Great Product & Service Brisbane Office – Graham was quite efficient and provided a professional service. There was an issue which he fixed straight away. We wanted to install our blinds last xmas and Bozzy were the only ones who showed any interest. Quite happy with the product and service. Would recommend Graham and his Installer highly.

Awful customer service – Tried to get us to sign up on an illegal contract where they were demanding a higher deposit than they are legally allowed to request. Pointed it out to them and they got very nasty and were very verbally abusive. Glad I didn't give them my money.

Great motorised outdoor blind – I had a blind installed by Bozzy for a large span outdoor drop blind to be fitted with a Somfy motor. It was a 3 step process; quote, measure, and installation. Great Product Great Service – Our Blind developed a tear, we called Bozzy to repair it fully expecting to pay for it. After looking at it they said, its a fault that they would repair free of charge. The returned all our calls and emails immediately. The blind was fixed on time by two very friendly and competient installers. The service was efficient, friendly and unfortunatelly what we in Perth have grown unaccustomed to!!!! Gladly recommend them for any job!

the quote was professional, knowledgeable and never pushy. The staff over the phone were very responsive, provided clear answers and provided us with updates. The installers were quick but did an excellent job of the install. Very pleased with the final product and definitely happy we chose this company. Their payment terms (50% on confirmation/50% on satisfactory completion) also provides good peace of mind.

Overall would not hesitate to recommend Bozzy and use them again!

Worst service and product ever!!! – After paying full price ($5000) for 2 blinds in may last year, we recieved a faulty product that took 3 1/2 months to repair. We had to phone regularly to chase up correct size handles and where repeatedly lied to and ignored. I would not recommend this company to anyone! Product average, worst service ever recieved and super expensive for what you receive!

Should have bought them sooner – Great blinds!!! Everything went well from start to finish, with the quote, the measure and the fitting. Everyone arrived on time, they were all really helpful, and full of knowledge. Wish I'd got them years ago, best thing I ever did!!!! Shocking after care service – Purchased $6000 worth of shade blinds. Had them installed in Jan 2012. Issues: 1. The installer showed up and not all the parts were there, resulting in my wife having to take another day off 2. The channels were the wrong colour and installed anyway. 3. One of the blinds is not level, the first time I saw it I could tell, but apparently its my paving that is not level! The fact that I can't tension this blind up evenly doesn't matter?!

So I complained about point 2 and point 3. After many calls and finally threats, they agreed to replace the wrong channel and compensate me with a free blind for the incorrect colours.

Fast forward 6 months and I am still waiting. They showed up a month ago with the new channel and that happened to be the original colour I ordered (grey) and didn't match all of the other channels. The supervisor also had the nerve to ask me to pay for installation of the new compensation blind!

The reason for this review is that I had them booked in for 7AM this morning as I knew I would be home, and 3 hours later they have still not showed. After calling them they reckon I was booked in for 8:30. My final tirade has taken place and I will be taking this further if they do not fix everything today.

While they actual quality isn't too bad, the after care is shocking and I would never use them again. I have deferred many people from using Bozzy in the last 6 months. Not bad quality After care service is shocking.
