My Breezair EXH170 is 14 years old and the wired wall controller shows the cooling and fan is on, yet there is no response from the main unit, just "Waiting". The gas heater operates from the wall controller, so assume the wall controller is not the problem. I had the BCB Control Board replaced just over 12 months ago, and pads replaced due to the same malfunction. It then worked ok at that time. The unit failed to respond 3 months ago, and was "fixed" by a licensed plumber, who has since retired. While it worked then, it has now failed again. Should I have it looked by another licensed plumber (at some cost), or simply replace it because of its age?

how do I shut my breezair down?
A Breezair doesn't require a 'shut down' as they have an auto clean feature. You just need to have it serviced every 2-3 years to ensure it is running correctly and to check the pads.
Should the ‘overflow’ water be running out at more than a trickle? Current rate 1 Ltr per minute.

How many outlets/vent supported by EXQ210 as in most of the bedroom outlets air is coming very very very slow (As got the more capacity item). Need some technical person to look at this?

How to dump water
Set the unit in to Manual mode. If the unit has been on "Cooling" mode, just switch to "Fan Only" mode, or turn the unit off. This will dump the water in the unit.

I had Breezair coolers be few years now when I turn on and put speed up to level 5 but 15-20mins and its turn the fan down to level 2. I'm try again It's do the same things?
Mine seems ok, maybe its on automatic when the room get cool in certain degree its shut the fan down? Google it

Hi John, I just did an Australian google search. The solenoid came from and ebay store which was located in SA. I have seen the pads on an Australian ebay store too. Hope this helps.

But replacing the spare parts of $600ish only after 5 years and a few months is sucks as when you count you only use it for 3-4 months in a year its mean this model only lasted 20 months! While my previous Breezair that i installed in 1987 lasted me 25 years

No l didn't try l still believe l did not get fair usage out of the product so maybe it might be worth pursuing this avenue.
Myone evaporative breezair wall mounted remote is playing up and changing from two higher cooling to one level cooling and if I want to work it on vent it wont do it it goes back to cooling. Do I need to change the battery?. (2) where is the battery on the wall mounted remote located?
