short life – After 4 years of very barely using (about just 2-3 times a week), the milk heater stopped working. As I found, this problem was very common for this machine. Not recommend. Show details

NO technical service from Nespresso – I purchased this machine from Harvey Norman Fortitude Valley Qld in 2017. Very disappointed that after 4 years the milk frother does not heat up milk or work. Keeps coming up with a message to "Attach Steam tip". No help from Nespresso technical support in fact the lady I spoke to when I asked for "trouble shooting" hung up on me. I noticed a… Read more

review from another customer who received "great customer service" and the same model was repaired FOC. I guess it depends on who answers the phone. :(

Great customer service – We purchased the Breville Nespresso Creatista Coffee machine from Harvey Norman on the 08/02/2017. We used the machine on average about 4 to 6 times a day. The machine operated faultlessly for the entire time and didn’t require any service repairs. Around two months ago, the milk wand wasn’t heating the milk properly requiring us to repeat the… Read more

milk heating process two or three times to get the desired temperature. This was no big issue as we had owned the machine for over four years and figured that the machine was wearing out. We also noticed that the plate at the front of the capsule holder wasn’t perforating the holes in the coffee capsules to extract the coffee. The water was not being pushed through the capsule but draining into the drip tray. I contacted Nespresso customer service who provided expert advice in relation to cleaning the perforated plate with a toothbrush to eliminate any built up coffee residue. We followed Nespresso advice but found that it didn’t fix the problem. I contacted Nespresso again and explained the issue we were having with the machine. Whilst I was on the phone to Nespresso, I was advised to go through the process of making a cup of coffee to trouble shoot the problem. I pressed the button for the cafe latte setting. The machine immediately cut out and tripped the fuse in the meter box and a small puff of smoke was released from the machine. I reset the fuse and repeated the process with the same result. Nespresso advised me to stop using the machine and created a service request. I was told that Nespresso would carry out a diagnostic check of the machine and contact me with the result. I was also told that as the machine was out of warranty, I may have to pay for the repairs. Nespresso didn’t charge me any upfront fees and didn’t charge me for postage. Nespresso emailed me a postage label and I packaged the machine for delivery back to Nespresso. Around three weeks later, the coffee machine was posted back to us. Nespresso had carried out a repair job on the machine and replaced pcb valves, thermocoil and brew unit. Repair Job number 269030. The machine works perfectly and is as good as new. The best bit is that Nespresso didn’t charge us for the postage or the repairs carried out on the machine. To top off the expert customer service, Nespresso threw in a free box containing 14 sample coffee capsules. Initially we considered throwing the machine out and buying a new one but are happy now that we had the machine repaired.

Lovely milk froth, easy to use and fast to start – We upgraded from a previous Caffitaly Saeco system purely for the milk frother of the Creatista. The microfoam in the milk froth is really good, though we are still struggling to do latte art (I'm blaming user error rather than the machine at this stage as we're not baristas!). it takes 10 seconds to start, and there are so many capsule choices… Read more

to choose from, even those that regularly goes on sale in Woolies/Coles (not just nespresso brands). The milk steam wand self cleans after each use, just need to wipe the wand each time (like baristas do).

Expensive for a machine with a 2 year life – Worked well for 23 months. We had it repaired at 23 months under warranty, but same issue resurfaced 3 months after repaired machine was returned to us. The issue, albeit important one, is with milk steam wand. Milk does not get above lukewarm no matter what settings are used. Now quicker to grind beans and use a proper coffee machine (also a Breville!). Show details

Great Machine but with Milk Problems – We have had the machine for 16 months and everything has been going perfectly except the milk frothing. Now with minimum milk in jug the milk gets to boiling point and overflows have to stop it manually. Maybe a thermostat problem. Now we have the inconvenience of returning the machine to manufacturer and waiting for it to be returned. Show details

Great replacement for our Citiz and milk – We had a Citiz and milk for years and it recently bit the dust - it got a lot of use in the years we had it. We decided to upgrade from the Citiz to a machine where you froth your own milk but did not want to pay the money for a Creatista Plus as we still go out for coffee on the weekends and sometimes buy one during the week. The Creatista was… Read more

on special at DJs so we bit the bullet and bought one - such a great machine.

The ability to froth the milk to the temperature you want is a bonus we never had on the Citiz and the coffee is still consistent.

I love this machine!!! – I recently purchased the BNE600 in Champagne. I find the little screen for selecting the type of coffee, milk temperature and texture so easy and fun to use. I have found the coffee nicer than any manual machine I have used, and I like that it uses a wand to froth the milk, but has a temperature detector underneath where the jug sits, so it turns… Read more

itself off once the milk reaches the chosen temperature. I was also impressed by the recycling program for used pods.

Perfectly steamed milk, and excellent coffee – I have had another (cheaper) Nespresso machine with a milk frother. The milk steamer is far superior. The machines is very adjustable - coffee amount, milk temperature, milk froth etc. It is easy to move between options. Although I liked the milk/coffee temperature, some that tried it thought my coffee was too cold even on the highest temperature - this depends on preference.  Show details

Best Coffee Machine – Great quality unit. It makes delicious coffee and is easy to use. I normally place everything away but this machine adds a touch of class to my clinically clean kitchen. Ideal for a fast espresso or a cappuccino. I would highly recommend this model for any Italian as the crema is perfetto!  Show details

Great coffee machine – The reason I only gave 4 stars for this machine is because initially I had some problems with this machine. It turned off by itself when frothing the milk every time we made a latte (appears it didn't have this problem when making other coffee). I returned the machine and got another brand new one. The same problem happened with the second… Read more

machine. I returned the 2nd machine and got the 3rd one which has been working great for over 1 year. It makes great coffee and many of our friends like the coffee and the machine itself when they come over our place. I noticed from other reviews other people also had the same problem like I did with the first 2 machines. Breville/Nespresso need to look at this issue seriously and have it fixed permanently. In short, I am very happy with this machine except for the problem I had with the first 2 machines.

GREAT coffee machine – What a beautiful product! Great coffee machine with coffee choices and milk froth settings to suit your preference. It heats up within 10 seconds from turning on. It produces superb creamy froth just like a barista from a cafe. It's been saving us hundreds of dollars so far by enjoying the coffees from home. It costs just around $1.20 (a capsule and milk) instead of paying for a $3 - $5 per cup. You do the maths absolutely worth it!  Show details

It’s good but just good and cannot auto clean steam wand – At first, I did love this creatista. But there is a big problem that many times the machine just turn off immediately in the latter stage of the milk frothing. It doesn’t auto purge to rinse itself even though I follow the instructions to return its down position. And I need to turn on the machine AGAIN to choose steam purge for cleaning steam… Read more

wand. It’s really annoying and seems not worth to a buy a machine like that cannot auto clean and just quickly and suddenly turn off even you don’t know does it finish the milk frothing.

BTW, I bought it TWO weeks ago!

Great way to save money on coffee - and get consistency too! – We love using this to make coffee at home. Fast start up, choose an option and get your coffee shot / ristretto etc, fill the milk jug, hit start and walk away - it has a temperature sensor with 5 settings. I also like how it sprays some water out of the steaming wand automatically after you finish - you do have to wipe the outside of course.  Show details

Milk perfection – Great machine, we can’t live without it anymore. Quick and silent, easy to clean. The best thing of this machine is the milk frother, absolutely fantastic, the texture is really smooth. It works great with plant based milk as well such as coconut, almond and soy. The only downside is that the pod dispenser is small, nothing major though. We still recommend it to all our friends.  Show details

Taste as good as coffee shop, frog is smooth but no custom control – I think I love it all overal, pack with nesspresso pods I saved a lot of money from spending at coffee shop. The only downside is no custom control on the froth which my friend who is barrister said he can't do the art much with it. But I love its frog smoothness and automation and easy to clean that saved me a lot of time and for its price, I think I got the best choice  Show details

Very easy to use and perfect coffee – This is the second Nespresso machine I own. It trumps last model I had which is a Lattissima. Quick and easy to make cafe standard coffee and it's fool proof. Everyone can make perfect coffee with this machine. Love the large water reservoir and the slick design. Easy to clean is also another plus feature for Creatista. Love it.  Show details

Takes excessive to a whole new level – At first I loved the look of this machine, the coffee tastes fine, and it’s really easy to use but the constant cleaning is way over the top, or inefficient, and it uses a lot of water in the process. We’ve tried a new wand nozzle, and Nespresso’s own descaler. We don’t live in a hard water area but this machine now wants to do a nozzle clean after every coffee. Nespresso have supplied us a basic machine but are yet to collect our Creatista.  Show details

Excellent machine for all types of coffee! – I always love the convenience of capsule machines. It produces excellent, black, coffee in no time, no mess, but if you prefer your coffee with milk, the milk quality that comes out of the frother is not so good. This machine perfectly addresses that. I can now get barista quality milk with its easy to use steaming wand, and best of all, it's… Read more

really easy to clean and maintain. Just wipe the wand with wet cloth and you're done!

My only complaint is the screen contrast. Under certain lighting it's a bit hard to see from angles, but that's a not a big deal.

Best capsule machine – I can't believe the taste of this coffee. I have stopped buying takeaway coffees and now just use this pod machine. I have used a few pod machines in the past so didn't have high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised with how good this tastes. Definitely worth the price.  Show details

Not cheap but worth it – This is the first coffee machine ever bought, and we chose to go with a capsule model to make it as easy on us as possible. We're pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to get good results out of it. However, the menu system can be difficult to use at times as the buttons and knobs aren't intuitive to use at all. And it was not cheap, as this… Read more

Excellent product with one Improvement please! – Am happy with this product but as a person with a vision problem I find the menu screen difficult to see at times. The screen contrast is where I have an issue and it would be better if it was a black background with white symbols and text. Fantastic – The quality and final outcome of coffee is barista quality! A touch of a button gives you perfect silky froth which not even your average barista can master! And this would be the reason you’d purchase this machine! You literally select the temperature of the milk you like and select the amount of froth (from 1 - 4) and leave it do its job...… Read more

just over a minute and voila perfect frothed milk suitable to do café art! You have to clean the milk element immediately (the inside self cleans after every use)

This machine is fiddly and takes a bit longer to use /program though in comparison to others that I’ve had from the Nespresso range. But once you get the hang of it and know it’s the best coffee you can have without putting much effort in you’ll be fine haha

The gold standard for great home coffee results – This was an excellent, albeit expensive, purchase that looks fantastic in the blueberry colour. Not been serious coffee connoisseurs, we wanted a coffee machine that accepted Nespresso pods, that also had an integrated milk foaming wand, so we could get that home barista feel for us and our guests. This machine has met our expectations.… Read more

We’ve been using it for a few months and we’re very happy! The wand is automatic, where you can apply the correct amount of steam and temperature to the milk that you’re looking for. Fool proof and quick, but makes us feel a bit like baristas!

It’s quick start too (10 seconds) and has a big display on the top for selecting the drink type you are making. It came with a small metal milk jug, although we bought a larger one to make more milk for larger drinks at one time. It also came with a selection of the full range of Nespresso pods - great for finding out which flavour you prefer!

We’ve had good and bad experiences with Breville appliances in the past, however this appliance has been worth the premium price. The common trait with Breville appliances always seems to be the modern, simplistic style and functionality of the appliances. This has been no different, and we are very happy with our purchase, and to be able to use this daily.

Loving it!! No need for exxy $4 coffees anymore! – We purchased a Breville Creatista from the Good Guys just over a month ago, and we are regularly having about 10-15 coffees a week, and we are absolutely loving it!! Best POD Coffee Machine! – I've used several Nespresso POD machines before including: U, Pixie, Citiz, Latissima and the Nespresso Creatista wins hands down. It makes coffee close to what you'd get from a barista. The wand froths and actually heats up the milk unlike the standalone milk frothers and the stainless steel jug is much easier to clean than the milk frothers.… Read more

I'd recommend it everyone - you'll never look at a POD machine the same after drinking the coffee from this machine.
