Excellent! – I am on my 2nd one now. First one I bought was around 2oo3. They last forever if you stick to the manual. The last one was a present . Abolutely love it. I use mainly 4 beetroot, 5 smallish apple, 4 oranges, 5 big carrots, 3 to 5 sellery sticks, half lemon and a small piece of ginger. It gives me 2 litres of juice. (Great recovery stuff) Which… Read more
you can keep in the fridge for a week. The pulp of orange and carrot I use in cake. Also apple and beetroot in cake. It is a real easy to clean and machine to use! The only thing you really have to pay extra attention.to, is the basket. by making sure that it is totally clean (by using brush provided) otherwise it won't collect as much juice. To me worth every penny. Fab product.
Don't waste your money – Not a good juicer. It yields very little juice, and the pulp stays very mushy and wet after it goes into the waste receptacle. As well, much of the fruit and veg stays in large chunks after juicing, which is a waste of money and effort. And leafy greens barely get processed through it at all. It is a very frustrating machine to work with, as even… Read more
at its slowest setting, the fruit and vegetables sometimes fly back up out of the chute. You would be much better off purchasing a slow juicer, even at a more expensive price. You are more likely to get your money's worth and most importantly, you will get many more health benefits out of juicing than you would get from using this machine.

Fantastic appliance – Love the juicer. It is replacing our finally retired old Breville veg and citrus juicer that served us well, so was keen to stay with the tried and proven brand.. Not disappointed at all. After reading reviews on all brands to compare and for the price, even though it was a big jump from our last one, we are very pleased. Extremely quiet compared… Read more
with old one and much quicker also. We have an abundance of oranges at present so that is our main use at present but will be trying all else in the warmer weather. Cleaning is simple, my husband does this, so easy for me!!, but he says it is very good and easy. One question please..... We find that some juice is leaking down onto the top of the round motor housing when removing the large pulp collection dish. This can be a bit hard to completly remove around the base and I don't think this should be happening, hygiene wise and motor wise??? Can you advise if this is the norm??? Noticed one other review that had a similar problem.. Otherwise love the product all over. fast, quiet, efficient only the leakage of juice near top of motor???
Give this one a miss – Okay I am officially a juice junkie. It makes up a large part of my diet actually. I have 4 juicers ........This Breville monster, a Panasonic, a Lex-sun slow juicer and a Grunn slow juicer (two of my juicers live at work and two stay home.) This juicer is all show. It's bulky, cumbersome, noisy and fiddly to put together, and does a fine… Read more
job of gobbling up precious organic fruit & vegies and sending most of them to compost. Pulp is wet (not good if you want the nutrients in your juice) - and despite copious amounts of pulp, a large proportion still manages to find its way into the drink.
It doesn't like green leafy vegetables...and we all know how good they are for you!
The only positive thing to say about it is that it is super fast. The huge chute ensures that large vegetables get sucked in with no effort. No need to chop an apple - the whole lot is mince in seconds. If you had 6 kids and as many apple trees ... it might be a quick way of getting them to drink juice..but...
If you want your juice to retain enzymes and nutrients ..don't waste your money on this. fast.makes perfect compost! Too big, bulky, noisy, hard put together, loads of components to wash. You throw most of the nutrients away.
Better than I was expecting – Having only used an old juicer this one if fantastic by contrast. I can just hurl fruit into the chute, whole apples , hand fulls of grapes, carrots, celery with leaves and the machine just shoots out juice with minimal effort. It is easy to clean, just rinsing in hot water immediately after use and a quick brush of the cutter and it's clean. I… Read more
was expecting the machine to be extremely noisy and much to my amazement the noise level is quite tolerable. The bottom line though is the juice which is of a good quality helped by the froth separator on the jug. A lot of juice is extracted from both fruit and vegies leaving the pulp fairly dry... and the speed by which it gets the juice is fast. Huge shute... fantastic for whole fruits so no chopping required. It was a no brainer at $90, I couldn't justify spending more on other juicers that looked basically the same. The jug is a tad small so one has to be careful to decanter juice into another container before it overflows.

Great machine especially if you get it for a good price! – I bought my Breville juice fountain second hand, I think it was $50 and it was as new. I have had it for about 10 months now and am super happy. It does the job great and I dont find it particularly hard to clean at all. I use a freezer bag in the pulp container to contain the rubbish which then goes straight into my worm farm. The other parts… Read more · 1
really just need a rinse and every now and then I put them in the dishwasher and they come out as new.
I have a thermomix as well but prefer the "real" juice rather than smoothie and don't want to stand around with a nut bag all day. So yes, all in all very happy!
I recommend this Juicer to anyone – I juice everyday and the pulp of most fruit and veggies are so dry that it looks like breadcrumbs. There are no leaks and cleaning is easy and fast. I read the reviews of cutters going blunt so to avoid this I peel the fruit with hard skins and haven't had any problems with bluntness so far. I definitely recommend this juicer to anyone. Great Juicer With All The Ergonomics Considered – Love my juicer. Cleaning is a bit of a pain but well worth it and necessary in order to clean the fibre off the filter. Froth is something I didn't anticipate. Have been juicing for 3 months and going strong! Inspired by Joe Cross after watching Fat Sick and Nearly Dead on Netflix.

Lets pulp in with the juice – I have had this less than a year and I don't have the receipt. It worked well for a while but now each jug of juice needs to be strained. Basically makes baby food now despite meticulous cleaning. Going to buy another juicer today. I'm going to try the froojie, I'll keep the receipt this time for sure. Show details
Hi Hayden - customer service may be able ro help with returnnof unit - 1300139798. Thanks, the Breville team
Heap of rubbish – I bought one of these juicers and found that after a few months use the cutters became very blunt . Cutters don't seem to be available to buy separately so juicer is no longer usable. There does seem to be a cutter strainer available to buy but this is about half the price of the juicer and this seems a bit silly as I only want the cutter which appears to be a separate piece.
Ok at juicing, makes a mess – Purchased this juicer today, planning on returning it to the store tomorrow. We've tried multiple times to use it today and each time it leaks from the seal around the top edge, enough to drip onto the benchtop. I'm fine with cleaning up the internal mess but I have to clean the bench and the feet of the device as well. Would be a great product if it had a silicone seal, was happy with the juice it produced.

Great Juicer! – I've only had this for a few months but I absolutely love it. I decided on this model as I've purchased this previously for my mother 3 years ago and hers is still going strong! I was debating whether or not to purchase this because I also own the nutribullet. The main reason I decided to purchase was its ability to remove pulp. Although the pulp… Read more · 1
is good for you, I personally prefer to drink juices without the pulp; i take the view that it's better to drink some juice, than not at all.
The machine would be considered loud, however it doesn't bother me at all. The only downside is the cleaning. There's different components that needs to be wash which is a huge hassle when in a rush, or simply feeling lazy.
Handy juicer – I bought the juice fountain a few months ago after my last one had stopped working (another brand). Very impressed with the size & convenience of pulling apart to clean. Not overly impressed with how damp the pulp is after juicing compared to my old juicer. I am also sometimes left with small chunks of fruit & have often juiced the pulp as well.… Read more
If they could get this problem sorted it would be an amazing little juicer & would buy another if I had to.

Excellent quality product – We have been using this juice for more than 2 years and it is going great. Makes very smooth juice and quality of the product is also remarkable. We highly recommend this product to anyone who like good juice. Very happy!!!
Great juicer, was pleasantly surprised – Husband and I got this after seeing great reviews on here and we completely agree with all the 5stars. This juicer does whole large apples and anything of equal size. Juicing is so easy with minimal prep work now, Im so happy we bought it. We saw it on shelves for $260, but shopped around and found it for about $170 at Harvey Norman, bonus!
Juice heaven – Fantastic juicer. I lost LOT OF WEIGHT juicing my vegetables. I owned a jack lalanne juicer prior to this one, it was complete rubbish. The Breville is superior in every way. Only thing i dont like about it is its hard to clean. The metal mesh insert needs to be replaced after a while, cost is about $50. Fantastic Juicer Hard to clean.
Problem with the chute – We have had our juicer for eight years and use it almost every day however we have had problems. There is a vane inside the chute where you feed in the fruit and it holds the fruit against the spinning shredder. The vane is obviously not stong enough and breaks off. So far we have replaced the part (upper bowl it is called) five times, once under… Read more
warranty and paid for the rest. The latest one is only three months old and has broken again. I am surprised no one else has reported this. You may not notice unless you check but it will throw out much more of your fruit unshredded. It is a good machine. The vane in the food chute needs to be improved

Excellent – Excellent juicer! After doing a lot of research and reading this post. I bought one today at good guys and it was on offer too for only $79. I quickly unpacked and tried making a juice. It is really good, powerful and fast! Love it! Highly recommended to each and everyone who loves quality and budget. Its worthy!
Juice in Motor – Purchased this juicer a couple of years ago and generally it works well. However, the juice seems to make its way into the motor area over time and can't be cleaned. It has now started to smell and affect the taste of the juice. No instructions on how to avoid this. Juices well, main parts easy to clean Juice within the motor starts to smell and affect the taste of the juice over time
Hi cmc - please call customer service who may be able to advise on this. They reopen January 2 - 1300 139 798.
Love it! – For the price this is a great juicer. It's fast and powerful and most fruit and veg can go in whole (carrots, apples, zucchini, cucumber etc) with no problem at all. It's not bad at greens, you just need to bundle them tightly, and a few loose leaves (especially small ones like herbs) don't make it through. It's super easy to clean if you follow… Read more
directions and do it straight away. It also comes with a handy brush to clean the blade/juice filter. Powerful, quick and easy to clean, and great for the price It copes with greens but better with solid fruit and veg
Breville Juice Fountain – This juicer was purchased over two years ago and has yet to fail. It has been used almost every week since it has been purchased, and is well worth the money for its top quality. It is easy to clean, assemble and operate, and comes with juice jug, and a nylon bristle brush to easily clean the micro mesh filter basket. A replacement 12 month… Read more · 1
warranty is also included which is great if product is faulty. This device makes juicing so quick and easy for people who want to juice on the go. This juicer can be very loud when at use

Excellent performing juicer – In this price range, I couldn't ask for much more from a juicer. It's very powerful and fast for its size, and dis assembly for cleaning after usage is extremely simple and quick. The design is well thought out, but although it is easy to disassemble, it is a little bit fiddly to get into and in between some compartments. Very reasonable price.… Read more · 3
Stylish. Ease of dis assembly. Power and speed. Little bit fiddly to clean. Mesh requires a bit of attention to remove all the pulp, especially from food that grounds down into to fine particules.
very good juicer – This is my first juicer and I am very happy with it. I make juice of carrot, beetroot and apple which was good. cleaning was easy then I though. with this juicer I also brought a sunbeam blender which was terrible (burnt on first day). But this juicer make me happy. works very well
Ahhh Freshness! – Just bought this machine today after wanting one for quite a while. I didn't want to spend a fortune and this seemed like the best valued juicer from all the reviews that I'd read. Made my first juice today. Fantastic machine!! You get lots of juice from minimal fruit and veg. It's pretty easy to clean (considering these kinds of machines are… Read more
always a little fiddly). I didn't even have to read the user manual.. so easy to use and set up. It's easy to store away in the cupboard too, but I think it will be out on the bench all the time because it's a joy to use and ever so healthy! Good price. Easy to clean. Does what it says it does.
Excellent juice, highly recommend – i am so happy with this juicer, it was very affordable and worth every cent. Its very easy to use and very easy to clean anyone who says its not is lieing. just a good scrub and rinse under the tap and in about 3 mins its done. lots of juice comes out and pulp is quite dry. I also was drawn to buying this configural juicer over others because it… Read more
only heats up 1.5 degrees so very minimal nutrient loss from fruit and veggies. so i like that they have taken that into consideration in there design. i would highly recommend to anyone wanting to buy a juicer. only thing that could be different is the jug could be a bit bigger but that is only a minor thing. lots of juice, low nutrient loss, very easy to clean, affordable. jug could be bigger. one full jug fills 2 large adult glasses.
Great value – This is one of the cheapest juicers and great value: super easy to use and clean (no weird bits) rinse and scrub with the brush they give you straightaway that's all. Maybe the capacity is a little small for a big family? but you just have to do it in several batches. easy and cheap need the space to store it.
Great home juicer and easy to use – My fussy non veggie eating son loves fresh made juice (with sneaky hidden veg) so the breville juice fountain is a winner in our house. The kids love watching me use it and seeing all those fruit and veg become yummy juice. It is quick and easy to set up and use. Seems to be well made as I was given mine second hand and it is going strong after… Read more
the previous owner also used it daily. Not too painful to empty and clean, certainly easier than I expected. Makes juice... Just what I want it to do. It handles hard fruit and veg like carrot, beet root and apples easily. Has a large opening where the fruit goes in so I don't have to cut the bits too small There are a lot of bits to it which means you need a fair amount of space to store it. Not a problem for me but might be if you have limited space.
Fresh Juice whenever we want! – Love making new juice concoctions with this - apple + mango, orange + mango etc. Theres even a recipe list if you run out of your own ideas. The kids love it and even after a year we still use it about once a week. Can be tricky to clean if you don't wash straight after using. Reliable and safe to use Can be fiddly to clean if you don't wash straight after using (ie. leave it for an hour or so!)
Love to juice – Really loving this juicer, my family have an old one from the 80's and it is so big & bulky and hard to clean. The Breville is super easy to clean, juices vegies & fruit at lightening speed. My husband and I have been inspired by Joe Cross who filmed a documentary on juicing, so our juicer is now getting used twice a day. Super easy to clean, wide feed tube, easy to pull apart & put back together Nothing, it's perfect for what I need
Fantastic – Love my juice fountain,,Perfect for making those healthy juices. It has a huge waste box, large cavity for juicing whole apples or pears etc. Waste is almost dry which means it takes as much juice out of the fruit or vegetable as possible, chooks love the leftovers. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to purchase this appliance.. big cavity, big waste catcher, almost dry waste, Very noisy, pain to clean.
Great for your life to renew your health – the breville juice fountain is just the best juicers, you dont have to cut apples, oranges, lemons, or be fust around when puting the vegetables of the fruit down the juicer it take them all with such great ease. The juice comes through without bits of pips or particals just plain fresh juice. I have had mine for 6 years now and I juice every day… Read more
and it is still going strong. It is easy to clean. Just rinse then wash with soapy warm water and then rinse with clean water and drain, put back together when dry. reliable
Great juicer – This is the first electric juicer I have owned. Whilst I can't compare it to other models, it works great for our needs. It's not hard to clean at all, although there are a few parts that need cleaning. It does need a bit of room to store, but as ours is used regularly, it's always on the bench. As far as juicing goes we've tried most fruits… Read more
(no problems here) and a few different vegetables. I had read that it's not good with leafy greens and mostly this is true, but watery vegetables such as celery and cucumber juice well. Works well, reasonably easy to clean. Bulky so storage could be an issue, doesn't juice leafy greens very well.
We love our juicer, quick and easy to put together and not too hard to clean – We bought our juicer after watching fat, sick and nearly dead and it revived our interest in juicing again. Have had a small Phillips juicer for 20+ years and still going but you have to cut every thing up first. With this juicer most things can go in whole, for smaller things we put a few together as they go down the shoot more evenly, we also… Read more
put a freezer bag in the pulp basket to help speed clean up. We juice mostly green leafy vegies, apples, carrots, ginger, cucumber, celery and no problems with any thing. The juice is wonderfully refreshing. The booklet suggests to put the pulp through the machine again if it is rather wet,or make soup from it straight away or compost it, your choice. Easy to use and not too difficult to clean
True to its' name, its' easy to clean! – This juicer is magic. I saw the demo online and thought whats the catch - there isn't one. It works superbly, extracting all the juice out of my fruit and veges and really is easy to clean. It pulls apart into about five pieces and they really clean up beautifully and quickly. Easy to clean. Extracts juice well from fruit and veges.
