It is better than the Breville juice fountain I had. The juice isn't warm like my old juicer. It is better yield as more juice. I like it can do small size citrus. I have lime and lemon trees. I used to use manual citrus juicer. Magimix can do small size like lime just fine. I used lime juice made lime tart. I like the salad kit that I ordered with the juicer. Show details

This is the first Magimix product I have bought that I truly do not like - at all. Firstly, it's not a cold press juicer as it has a grater, not augers - which means the food is not masticated and that affects the nutrient retention. off. Almost impossible to get totally clean. It also leaves pieces of mushy food in the bowl after juicing. There are so many components that need to be cleaned, and some, like the body, are not small. Takes up a lot of bench space to dry off if you don't use a dish-washer. An auger juicer can be cleaned in a minute just by rinsing, no dishwasher needed. Whereas this one takes scrubbing on some parts so a lot more time needed if hand washing. It got one star for the citrus press. However, you don't need one with a good slow press juicer. This unfortunately is just another thing I wish I hadn't bought.

Magical Magimix – I really like using the Magimix. It is cold pressed with one of the attachments which is really good. It’s French made and really superior to other mixers. Definitely worth the price. Motor has lifetime warranty. Worth investing in. Show details

nice colour and works great – loving it as this has a lot of features. Fruits and veg either goes in and comes out like magic. My fanily is loving it and so am i. Would have loved a bit more clarity however, good for a one stop juice machine. Value for money. Show details

Does what it says with ease – I bought the juicer mostly for carrot juice, the output is less than expected and might be cheaper to buy the juice from the supermarket except if you want to use organic carrots. It is however not due to the fault of the juicer but due to the nature of the vegetables quite easy to operate and it’s easy to use the pulp to add to stews and soups. Great quality & powerful juicer. I haven't bought store juice since owning this juicer. Love mixing flavours & adding tumeric/ginger. Also got the salad prep kit & enjoying sprializing veggies & grating fresh cheese for pasta dishes. Took a bit to work out how to assemble but all good now. Easy to clean, all parts pop in the dishwasher. Show details

Really Disappointing – I've had previous magimix products before and they were good. This was a complete fail unfortunately for me. Unlike my previous juicer, it is incapable of juicing leafy type products so kale, celery leaves, spinach etc. is a waste of time. it's extremely difficult to clean properly. The one vegetable that I'm really pleased about is the juicing of tomatoes which makes a pulp and therefore makes a homemade V8 juice reasonably successful.

Underwhelming – Returning it the same day of receipt! This juicer is underwhelming in power and does not extract that much juice from veges / fruit. expunge the juice! It’s design is a bi-centrifuge/cold press design - but it is really inefficient. The grinding disk with teeth has no bite whatsoever - you have to push hard on the pushing tamp to get it to grind the veges / fruit. Again, not a lot of juice comes out. I bought this machine thinking it would simplify my juice making routine by less parts to wash - but that’s a fallacy; and the little juice that comes out is aggravating for the effort. On the up side, it does come with a citrus juicer - that could be very handy to those who don’t have a separate citrus juicer.

Would purchase again – Strong machine, well built and solid, I think it will last many years. Easy clean so I’m not out off using only to do a small batch. I mainly use the citrus attachment for oranges. And the hard juicer extract for apples, beets, celery, ginger, carrots and pears. Pears tend to be quite pulpy. Show details

Magimix Juice Expert 3 - excellent choice appliance – The application is power, it’s very easy to use and clean. Fresh taste and great flavour. The only thing is we have to scrape the inside of the juice filter to remove the bulk of the pulp. It’d be convenient if this can be removed automatically during extraction. Show details

results from this appliance. Its power is without question, and if you are seeking a juice free from gluggy pulp, this is the juicer to buy. The extracted juice is clear and easy to digest, unlike some others I have used which have residual pulp mixed with the extracted juice. The pulp in the Magimix filter is almost dry, indicating that the maximum amount of juice has been extracted. I do find I usually need to scrape out the pulp halfway though a juicing session, but the provided spatula fits perfectly around the inner perimeter of the filter to make this an easy task. To date I have juiced various combinations of carrot, apple, celery, cucumber, spinach, beetroot, orange, lime and lemon, and all have been fresh and tasty. It's becoming my daily vitamin pill!

The other feature worthy of mention is the size of the feed chute. It's the largest I have seen in a juicer, minimising the amount of preparation/cutting required before the extraction process.

Yes, it does have several parts to clean, but they wash up very easily. Any pulp remaining on the juice filter is easily removed with a soft brush.

The accompanying recipe book provides lots of guidance for combining juice ingredients to understand and maximise nutritional benefits, and further inspiration for purees, smoothies, sauces and desserts which I have yet to try.

Highly recommended, quality appliance.

Should have known this product earlier – Own many juicer machines before Magimix Juice Expert 3. Best juicer I ever had. I make juice for family everyday. The orange press is excellent.
