it is cleaned and descaled regularly as reminded by the automatically generated message. I contacted Nespresso re this fault, and they were great! I can't fault them. I packed up the machine and took it to the post office to be sent off for repair four days ago, postage is covered by Nespresso. (I had to buy a box and bubble wrap from Bunnings for approx. $6.00). Today I have received notification that it has been fixed and will be delivered back to me today, just in time for the weekend! I have been very happy with my purchase and really impressed that I wasn't out of pocket for the repair, and the quick turnaround. Hopefully my machine will last for many more years.
Follow-up · Frother is working well. Now the motor makes a funny noise when brewing the coffee … and unfortunately it performed perfectly when I rang Breville and did a video call to show them the problem. It continues to make great coffee, but the intermittent motor issues are concerning.
This is our second Nespresso Coffee “pod” unit, the previous one worked fine for over 5 yrs and has been used extensively by everyone, so when it came to replace we decided to stick with same unit, cannot complain
Follow-up · The frother works exactly the same as the older version unit so no change, re; capsules we got a few different variations but we got this with first unit, the main difference I can see is the new unit is possibly quicker and a little more quiter
Great machine when not stuck in descale mode – My Crestista Plus machine scores 6 out of 5 stars for its glamorous, compact design and ease of use! to do would not come out of this mode! Again, Appliance Shed fixed the problem! Last month, same problem I had back in June - stuck in descale mode!
I wonder if there is a programming error with this particular model?
My machine is 2 years old now, and I have made 3 trips to the Appliance Shed!
Very inconvenient, in more ways than one, especially when you spend $700 on a product that keeps letting-you-down!

machine as the thermostat stopped working after a few weeks. It worked initially , but the coffee was weak.
We returned the second machine because the coffee was also weak and once again the crema poor in comparison to all the other Nespresso machines we’ve owned and the coffee was never really hot. Over time, the temperature of the coffee and milk dropped so we were microwaving it and the milk frothed continually blocked despite soaking it and using the to to clean constantly.
I am using aN old second hand Nespresso machine Off gumtree and the coffee is strong and hot again. I am disappointed because I really wanted the automated steam for milk Rather than the milk jug the other models have.
JB hifi were excellent with returns and customer service though!

Great coffee and beautiful matte white look – The machine makes the perfect coffee everytime. I don't buy coffee anywhere else anymore. Precise temperature and crema for the milk and you can choose the volume of milk and coffee. Really easy to use despite having so many settings to choose from. Cinch to clean and looks stunning.
