Breville Nespresso Creatista Uno – This machine works marvelously!! Best feature “always delivers a hot cup of coffee!” Easy to use!! I only ever use Nespresso pods I originally worried about the quality, but knowing Nespresso have put their name on it, it has to be good, they would never endorse an inferior brand. Why is this machine still available for sale? – We have had this machine 2 months. I have cleaned it every night as per the instructions. However, it has still required descaling twice. Simple, quick to use and easy to clean. Perfectly froths any type of milk including nut milks.
Pods are in all major supermarkets and often on special so we have a good variety on hand to please even the most fastidious of coffee lovers. Considering our adult family of 7 are all avid coffee drinkers, this machine paid for itself in just a few months and those savings quickly add up.
Even on the run, it’s quick and convenient to make a delish coffee and pour into a travel mug. We will definitely be taking this beauty on our next Motorhome road-trip. Fabulous coffee on the Go!!

Hate it – Bought it with great expectations. When it worked the coffee was what I expected - not good/not bad but spent more time trying to get it to work and cleaning it though not used everyday. If I could give a zero I would – Bought my creatista uno machine at Christmas. Completely stopped working before Easter - just over three months old - despite regular cleaning and maintenance. Sent to repair centre and was without a machine for approx two weeks. Had to pay about $20 for safe packaging (box and bubble wrap). Received it back yesterday and it still doesn’t work!… Read more
None of the buttons are responsive. Have just been advised I need to send it back again(!) and will be without a machine for at least another 2 weeks. So one month out of action on a brand new machine I’ve had less than 4 months. It’s clearly faulty. Being under warranty it should be replaced. I do not recommend the product and advise that Nespresso customer service - warranty process is woeful.

DO NOT BUY – This machine is less than 2 years old. Nespresso ONLY offer repair option, via postage and weeks and weeks of waiting (we are in WA). They blatantly say that regardless of whether it is a minor or major fault, it is their option to repair, replace or refund. EDIT: After returning the item to Betta, we finally got a result. Lesson? Do not bother going to the manufacturer, Consumer Affairs advised us your Consumer Guarantee is diminished. Go to the retailer. It took a bit of trouble, but by sending Betta the Consumer Affairs booklet, we obtained a replacement.

The machine leaks – The coffee is fine and the machine is well mantained but this is the second machine in a year that leaks intermittently in exactly the same way. consumer should not be put out. Your problem should not be mine. I'm sick of following this up and will not phone again nor take or send the machine anywhere again. Why should I? Nespresso sort it out with Breville and give me a new machine until one works. Simple. UPDATE Now on my third machine and it has proved no more reliable than the other two. Like the two before it works for a while then fails. The retailer has been considerate something the manufacturer and the suppler have not been. These issues are well documented. It is a disgrace that the neither the manufacturer nor the supplier have a comprehensive strategy to address what is clearly a poorly made machine. Shame on you continuing to treat your customers this way. SORT IT OUT NOW.
Rubbish. Has a common known fault – My daughter bought this machine and it worked perfectly for about 3 months. The steam wand malfunctions rendering the machine useless. Nespresso refused to give a refund and offered to fix. Not good enough when paying good money for a product that isn't good. Great when it works but only 9 months on its heading to the bin – We have used Nespresso coffee machines for 10 years, this is our 4th machine, 1st in the Creatista range. The machine was a nice upgrade from the CitiZ range which we used previously. through its cycle resulting in luke warm milk. The machine cleaning light flashes after every cycle. No matter how many times I have descaled and cleaned the machine the problem is just getting worse. I Have to use the microwave to finish heating up the milk. After doing some research on Nespresso forums apparently this is a common fault on the Creatista range and i'm yet to find anyone who knows of a soloution on fixing this issue. Before the machine goes in the Bin im gonna pull it apart and see if there is anything obvious but I doubt ill have any success as its probably an electrical or sensor issue. Really disappointing as we love the simplicity and convienance of Pod coffees over traditional machines.

These are 1 star rated for a reason – Read and go by the reviews. I bought this in December 2021 (4 months ago) and I read all of these reviews, all of the bad reviews, and thought "I'll be one of the lucky few with no problems". Feeling like an idiot now after 4 months the machine is leaking from the bottom and problem with the milk frother. Cleaned as required, only Nespresso pods, two coffees made per day and it failed. Poor Repair Process at Nespresso of Breville Creatista Uno – I purchased this machine from a Nespresso boutique. It worked for five months and then the frother stopped heating the milk. return the unit for repair to the Nespresso boutique where purchased (when it was possible to do so) and this was not accepted by Nespresso.
Nespresso provided a post-free return label. However, I had to provide my own packaging and invest time to attend the post office to hand the machine over the counter. Took about two plus weeks to return via Australia Post. There was no documentation to explain the repair. Overall, the machine was not functioning or under repair for four to five weeks.
Other reviewers have indicated early / warranty problems with the milk frother on this machine. My experience of the very poor Nespresso repair process undermines the Nespresso brand. Given the experience of multiple customers with the same problem, Nespresso should be sending new machines to customers by courier without delay.
Breville Responded: "Thank you for your review and your feedback. We'll definitely pass along your feedback to the appropriate people. We are continuously trying to improve our customer's experience".
I paid $599 for my machine and discussed this very issue of the relationship between Breville and Nespresso at the time of purchase with the Nespresso boutique. That is, how to manage problems within the warranty period by purchasing a Breville machine from a Nespresso boutique. I have experiened inadequate / lack of timely service from Nespresso. Also, my machine has been unavailable for its purpose for around five weeks or so within the first year of routine service at home. As discussed on Product Review, others have experienced repeated unreliability of the Breville machine and reported dissatisfaction with the resolution processes. Clearly there is a problem that Breville and Nespresso need to resolve.
The lack of genuine customer service orientation and willingness to resolve issues quickly is a weakness that Nespresso and Breville need to address.
Should my machine fail again within the warranty period, it will be a demonstration that the machine is not fit for purpose and I will seek a full refund utilising the maximum capacity under the law.

again. went back to Harvey Norman They agreed it needed to be replaced! grabbed but advised they didn't have that model discontinued, told me which one do you want? grabbed a the next model up but want to charge me an extra $400 but I found it on their online store as Harvey s work as Franchises they don't work together at all unless it suites them. I found the same machine on their online store bought the machine, then had to go back to the store I bought it from for a refund got my machine , but it was a nightmare. I will never buy anything from Harvey Nornman again. I will never buy a Nespresso Breville machine because of this experiece
Do not buy this machine – The machine made good coffee for 3 months and then the frother just stopped working. To fix it Nespresso is asking us to ship it to them for repairing that could take 3 weeks. Very very disappointed – Was given this machine as a gift. Worked great for 7 months and then issues with the milk frother. Keeps asking to be descaled and blowing steam underneath the machine. Easy to use, lasted 10 months – Bought the coffee machine as a 75th Birthday present for my mum as it is easy to use and the self cleaning function of the milk wand is great. The positives are: Minimal bench space Sleek stylish machine Very affordable price (purchased on sale at David Jones for $429 and free $90 worth of pods) Barista quality coffee Many options available for type of coffee Simple button options
The negatives are: It is surprisingly noisy for a little machine! There is a very small areas for the glass to sit and the milk jug, essentially you can't place them both on the machine at the same time Descaling is a bit of an effort and it's not super clear initially how to do that It does not dispense 'just hot water' in case you wanted to make tea or hot chocolate etc, and nespresso does not have any 'hot chocolate' options (without coffee). Would be great to be able to throw in a chocolate pod to made cafe style hot chocolate with frothed milk.
One issue was trying to work out how to get more liquid volume - there are only 3 options, and even selecting the largest option, it only filled just over half a coffee cup. Enquired in the store and was told that is the only option, and not to ever choose to fill it twice from the same pod, or you get the residual coffee flavour from the pod which will ruin the overall flavour. They said just add more hot water. But the machine doesn't allow you to add just hot water, so it would mean boiling a kettle and adding hot water, or removing the used pod, then running through another cycle without a pod so it's just the hot water. Not very practical really.
In spite of all of this, the machine still does exactly what it says it will do, and I knew the features before making the purchase. The price, quality and ease of use means this was a great purchase and I do recommend it to others.
2 machines failed 3 times after 4 weeks – I had first machines for 4 weeks, then stopped working. Lights on, but didn't work. Returned to Nespresso which took 2.5 weeks to get back and told it was a pump issue and it needed replacing. I had it for 3 days and the pump failed again. to david jones who were great and replaced the machine for a new machine. This machine lasted 4 week's and stopped working. Same problem! Unbelievable! Went straight back to David Jones and they gave me my money back. I have now bought the next model up the creatista plus, I've had it for 1 day and it leaks water on the bench. It's going straight back, for 650 there should not be an issue. I've had enough of these machines. I've had 2 Breville coffee machines before and never a problem. It's disappointing because the coffee and milk were great whilst it worked.
