This is the Boss – My best blender yet. Have owned the Boss for 18 months. I love this blender. When you put frozen kale in this blender it blends it to a smooth paste or liquid. Less blenders leave the kale in pieces in small pieces that are hard to swallow. I highly recommend this product. Great value for money Show details

Guys in Bayswater and being Breville products I have had a kettle that stopped working it would cut off when you press the button to boil water and just stopped for no good reason without boiling the water now the blender that I have bought that I spent $500 on has now broken and stopped working. I have a coffee machine that I had for well over 15 years still working today I just made myself a cup of coffee with it I have a coffee grinder that I’ve had for well over 15 years it still works I just ground the coffee beans to make my coffee I do not know why Breville cannot make a product that lasts longer than a year or two this is making me very unhappy with your brand and your product's

delicious creamy ice-cream without any preservatives. It comes with a stick to help blend things up and a special scraper to make sure you aren't wasting any of the food. I used it 2-3 times per day and its fantastic. I love to have a big green smoothie each morning and I normally use kale. My previous blender would blend the kale "enough" but I found I had to "chew" my smoothie as the kale was still kind of chunky through it. With this Breville The Boss Blender it is literally pulverised and you can't even tell its kale. The kids love my green smoothies now as they aren't chunky. Plus you can use the kale STEMS and they are completely smooth too - my old blender couldn't ever blend the stems up too. It also makes soups from scratch, and you can make flour as it has settings to blend seeds/grains/nuts etc into flours and powders. Totally worth the money!!

never use an appliance that doesn't stay on the bench.

I drink vegetables, fruits and berries every morning. Hard veggies like carrots are just disintegrated into juice! The frozen fruits and berries do not even make this machine blink. Throw in a tray of ice. Big deal.... It's gone. The power is really staggering. I have second jug. I feel incredibly spoiled.

I purée fruits and vegetables for making my own bread and it turns them to silk. Make my own almond flour. Boom it's done.

I get zero vibration and I sometimes instinctively put my hand on top of it to hold it, but it's not necessary, it's solid as a rock. I have two observations though after using it. If you have a recipe page, book, receipt or heaven forbid flour on the bench when you turn it on prepare for a cyclone. Because of the power there can be some air pressure from the machine. Wow. We have lift off. I get a kick out of it, now that I expect it.

Secondly, don't use anything in you soup function that is not either okay to eat in a semi raw but thouroughly hot phase. I tried to put an onion in the soup just to see what would happen. I did have to cook it. Anything else like my cauliflower and bean soups are fine. Bloody creamy soups with no dairy. Just stay away from the onion. Maybe try a spring onion instead.

I like the mix functions for when I make a dip and want to leave some chunk in the final ingredients. But, I've never had hummus like this before. I eat a bowl for dinner sometimes it's so good. Tip: I substitute balsamic vinegar for lemon juice. Yummy.

I've still got my old Breville Optiva. But only out of sentimentality. It sits on my baking fridge sad.

This is good but there is a little design issue – The blender is really good. It blends well. The great thing is that it does not make a lot of noise when it blends and blends well However, the reason i gave it 4 and not 5 is because every time you blend, the food item gets stuck at the bottom of the pot. wash it and put it back. However I have to do this every time I use it. I think Breville can change the design so that the food does not get stuck then it would be a 5 star.

Amazing power – Like other reviews I was amazed at the power and speed of this blender. Comes with a recipe book with some really good ideas and input from Heston detailing the benefits of fine particle size through good blending( which this machine definitely offers). The only blender I’ve ever heard of that blends a soup so fast that it heats the soup. Auto clean function is good. Only downside is it’s quite noisey - but that comes with the power.  Show details

It’s just ok – Love this blender for smoothie making and puréeing used it for all bubs meals. Don’t love the “chop” setting so much, sometimes it works perfect and other items it pretty much purées them.  Show details

Its good – This blender is good for blending all consistencies It has various option to keep consistency very runny or semi liquid as you desire. It's easy to use but not easy to clean but I found a trick to clean which helped me. I just put liquid soap n water n blend for a sec it cleans the machine easily  Show details

Better than I thought!! – When I first purchased the Breville I was concerned it wouldn’t be as efficient as my old model. This model is fabulous, it blends large quantities and therefore, no one misses out on a smoothy. We use it daily and having a house with three grown teens it’s earned back its money.  Show details

Who needs a bullet when this dose it all – Who needs one of those bullet blenders when this one is so simple and can make the freshest fine milk shakes or blended drinks including a few alcoholic beverages with crushed ice. It blends very well down to tiny bits to none depending on what you blend  Show details

Solid power gets through anything! – Great blender this! It has tonnes of power and can handle the hardest root veggies, nuts and even crush ice. Great All Round Blender – This has worked out very well for us. It was not cheap but it gets used a lot. Mostly we do soup which it does easy-peasy and health concoction smoothies and it does those well too. It is quite noisy when running- our dog took off the first time we fired it up, but it's also very powerful. V8 of blenders (powerful but a bit loud) – But seriously I do really like it. I’m very noise-sensitive so I keep hearing protection with it. It does everything they say it will, the book is good quality and helpful. It’s easy to clean. I would prefer a glass jug though. (after soaking) for a spread. But l have really enjoyed using it. It also doesnt iverheat like some. The only downfall is that it is a little noisy in my opinion but almost all blenders are.

Good product, blends well! – Yes very happy with the machines blending ability. the consistency is how I want it to be, and being a Breville product, I expected nothing less. Perfect for all sorts of meals! – The blender works very well initially - the blades are sharp and blend everything very smoothly. Very happy with the boss – Very happy with this purchase. It works as it should and is easy to clean. Can be a little noisy but it is quite powerful. I have not used commercial brands but think this machine would stack up pretty well in comparison. I mainly use for shakes (protein and thick shakes) and have made a few soups. Smoothies and more – I have had this unit for afew weeks now and so far I love it. Blending strawberry milkshakes is so easy and quiet compared to my mums older machine. Afew days ago i used it to blend up juice, oranges, apples and pineapple. The result was an awesome even blend of flavour and no skin from the apple was left over.  Show details

The best blender – Best blender I ever bought. Works best for smoothies and fruit juices, blends even large pieces of food so I don’t have to pre-cut them into smaller pieces. The Boss packs a punch; carrots, apple, broccoli, even ice cubes, none of them hold a candle against the blades. The 2 litre jug is sized well for a family of four. My kids are now smoothie fans and we have great fun each week deciding who’s recipe we’re going to try out next.  Show details

You may also wish to discuss storage, noise level, ease of use, and extra settings or features? Storage is same as all other kitchen appliances. It's actually very noisy but I guess it needs to compromise the power of this blender.
