I love my good old Breville EM6 Wizz mixer
I love this Breville EM6 Wizz mixer but I have lost my gorgeous glass bowl that fit into the base. I am looking for a new bowl, does anyone know where I can find one?Show details
Not recommended
Bought this mixer only last month, glass had a slight crack wihile I'm using it. Returned the item but I was told that glass bowl is not covered by warranty. So sad, huh. I should have read the reviews before buying it. Totally disappointed!
Awesome
This is my second one only because our puppy ate the first one! Lol. My first one was going strong after 3 years. They are compact but really tough and powerful. Heaps better than the massive bulky ones of today. Fits plenty in the bowl and has several speeds which are really useful. Really reliable product. Plus a great price for what you get.Compact strudy and reliable
OK for small mixing
I loved this when I first got it, as I'd never had a mixer before. It was really handy having a detachable hand mixer option, as the bowl is quite small, so it enabled me to use the hand mixer with bigger bowls.It is good for doing easy mixing jobs, but I do find that it doesn't have the power to do heavy duty mixing. As a consequence, I need to upgrade.
Noisy for the level of power that it has.
Glass bowl is not as sturdy as they claim, and I broke it when using it to melt chocolate over a saucepan.

Bowl is too small and breaks fairly easily, noisy, and not enough power for larger mixing. Other similar products have better bowls

I don't do a lot of baking / mixing. This gadget serves my purpose. It's compact size means it doesn't take up too much storage space & is easy to handle. I like the glass bowl as it's easy to wash out - butter does not stick to it as it does on plastic.- compact - easy to store & to use

Bad
This was bought for me for Christmas as I do a lot of baking and cooking, especially cakes and cookies. The manual says it is suitable for all your mixing needs, including cake, cookie, pastry and bread batters/doughs, but it really isn't. Great for whipping, beating and creaming but that's about all.Cheap, doesn't take up much space on the benchtop, really great for whipping, beating and creaming.
The bowl isn't large enough for mixing a medium-sized cake, you have to be careful not to over-mix, cake mix/dough/batter tends to travel up the mixers and it struggles with thick/heavy mixtures.
Not worth the money - buyer beware
I bought this mixer as it wasn't too pricey and my handheld mixer is about to die! I was disappointed with the whiz mixer from the minute i got it out of the box. Very plastic and flimsy. The beaters do not go near enough to the edge of the bowls so the mixer gets stuck on the outside and doesn't get incorporated it the mixture. I bought it to make baking easier ... fail!Nice design, looks good, compact
