what an amazing service easy to purchase tyers & book to have them fitted fitter arrived on time and in no time I had 4 new tyers on my car highly recommend them Show details
Poor Wear - 245/45 R17 – I have a Ford Falcon XR6 and I bought 4 Bridgestone Potenza Adrendlin RE003 tyres for $305 each in 2022. I was happy with the tyres generally, but I only got 25,200 kms on these expensive tyres. I got 51,000 kms on my 4 Pirelli P1 Cinturato tyres previously (also very expensive).
Great Tyres, best grip for cornering – I replaced my tyres a few years ago with the Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE003 in size 225/45/R17 94W, and I’m finally getting around to writing a review. Overall, these tyres were fantastic! The cornering grip is by far the best I’ve experienced—these tyres really shine when it comes to handling tight turns or aggressive driving. The overall… Read more
performance and road feel were excellent, giving me confidence in both dry and wet conditions. If you're looking for a tyre that excels in handling and cornering, these are definitely up there.
However, the one downside I encountered was the road noise. Compared to the tyres I had before and the ones I’ve had since, the RE003s were noticeably louder. If you have the music on you cant tell. It wasn’t a deal-breaker for me, but it’s worth mentioning if you’re after a quieter ride.
Overall, despite the noise, the performance of the Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE003 tyres was top-notch, and I would definitely recommend them for anyone who values great grip and handling. Just be prepared for a bit more road noise than some other tyres.

Great performance tyres – I purchased the Bridgestone Re003s for my 2016 Subaru Wrx and they have been amazing .Look for buy 3 get 1 free deals and you can’t go wrong. The price point of these tyres is what made me buy then for the quality of tyre performance you get .The grip is amazing in dry and wet conditions and the design of the tread looks super racey.I will be using these tyres again and thats coming from a Pirelli person! Good sport tyre – I am puzzled as to why a few seem to think these tyres are not up to their expectation. I completed 75,000km on these tyres and can't complain at all. The only downside is, that they are not very gorgiving on potholes. You will feel every hole. My experience on the performance of this tyre is, that it is a good long lasting performance tyre. found that it handles the corners well because of it's firmer feel. Grip is satisfactory in wet and in the dry good. Tyre noise is well managed but do get a little noise as they wear more than half, but not enough to cause annoyance. I have 19 inch tyres and because of that and the firmness of these tyres feeling pot holes more readily. I gave these tyres a good hammering every so often on my 370hp Golf R and still managed to clock up good milage. I would buy them again and recommend them, but currently using up my Continental oem tyres first.
235 tyres are too narrow – In the past I've bought 235/45/17 RE002 and RE003 tyres for my 17x8 rims which have all been great. No complaints. This time I bought 235/40/18 RE003 for my 18x8 rims which sadly look terrible. They fit as though they're 215 tyres. Look narrow on the rims. The outside edge of rims are exposed. The inside edge are even more so. Great tyres but dont… Read more
fit as you would expect. Bob Janes told me thats how it is. Bridgestone Australia told me nothing wrong with them. I cant exchange or trade them in. Do yourself a favour, buy something else. PS at the time of purchase the tyres were already 10 months old. Maybe they shrunk ?

Confidence inspiring tyre – Tyre 225/50/17 on 2008 Euro , completed 51000 in three years, tyres on car when purchased, still had lots of dry and wet grip at end .Hit some water at speed and vehicle barely moved off line, that was surprising. lots of toll road travel , noisy towards the end. The tyres were ten years old and did inspire confidence to drive that bit harder,… Read more
pushed the speed a bit.Did keep the pressure up to 34psi, regularity balanced reckon that helped with tyre life. Looking for less noisy tyre for next fitment.
Not bad at all – Coming from a history of Michelin and pirelli, these tyres came with a set of wheels I bought. I’m surprised at how competent they are both in the wet and dry. They are a bit noisy and unfortunately I get flat spots in them when left undriven for the weekend. The spots disappear after they warm up but it’s something I’ve not had with other brands.… Read more
The profile is quite square and the deep side grooves look great and get rid of water well. I’ve had them for 10,000ks and they are just starting to see wear. I inflate 10% higher than recommended. Overall not as good as Michelins but for value for money pretty good.
Comparable to Eagle F1 – Personally I've found these tyres amazing, not sure about the people saying they flat spotted from sitting over a weekend, I would say that is a you and a tyre pressure problem. Properly inflated tires won't do that. I've had the RE003 twice, first time on a FWD Saab 9-5 aero wagon, they were mental, transformed the car, gripped amazing in wet and… Read more
dry. My previous tires would wheel spin when the turbo kicked in on traffic light drags, these just hooked up. Sold car before tires worn so don't know tire life. A few years have passed, a few cars, a few tires, and I would say these are up their with my other favourite, Goodyear Eagle F1s. Currently on a 2010 Audi A6 Quattro V6, and its good to know my memories of them in the Saab were well founded. In the RWD biased quattro of the A6, she pushes hard, in the wet and dry, yet to have wheelspin, had a minor slide on understeer a couple of mornings in the wet, but that <1km from home and the tyres were cold. I don't buy tyres for the longevity, I buy them for the safety and grip. If people are going to moan about 20000kms then they have bought the wrong tire, or perhaps need to maintain them better and rotate the Fronts to the back? Tyres at this price point are typically soft compound and won't last, but they won't have the same wet weather grip either, especially for those of you on RWD. My only issue currently is the rear wandering a little on uneven surface, but I'm trying to determine if that is the air suspension or the tires, never noticed it on the Saab. If only NZ/AUS got uniroyals though, as my ultimate fav is the RainSport3, had them in the UK on a Merc C320, RE003 closest I can find in our limited market.

Wear out far too quickly – I've always loved these tyres, they do everything right, either wet or dry they're great but the last set that I put on my 2009 Ford Falcon have worn out so quickly I can no longer recommend them. I drive slowly , never tow and always have the correct pressure but the rear tyres are 70% worn after only 16 thousand kms. It's not as if they've worn… Read more
unevenly, in fact they've worn so evenly you could put a straight edge on it. With a bit of luck I hope to get another 4k out of them which will be a grand total 20k which just isn't acceptable. The Michelin Primacy 4's that were on it prior lasted 35k and I only changed them because they were going a bit hard and getting a little noisy but were stlll nowhere near the wear indicators.. Bridgestone had no answers and of course didn't care either, they probably think they're going to sell me another set of tyres. They'd be wrong.
Very poor performance – Purchased 4 new Potenza tyres for my LEXUS IS250C in Feb 2020, from Bridgestone Select, Castlehill. Those tyres didnt last for 3.5 yrs & or 15,000km.Mostly during Covid, not much of running. This time when taken for Rego inspect,I was told I needed to replace tyres.I normally do 35-40K on my previous vehicles. I have switched to Michallin tyres now Show details
A very below average tyre from Bridgestone – Had a pair of these Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalins fitted to the front wheels of my Toyota Aurion in early December 2020 including a full front & rear wheel alignment. After just under 2 years & 27,000km both are well on the way out with poor tyre wear on a FWD vehicle. A very below average tyre from Bridgestone. Its back to the Michelins or Pirelli's for me in the future. Show details

Great grip – I purchased the re003 tyres and used them on the front of a lotus Esprit Amazing grip in dry. And a also great in the wet. Have recommended to other club members. Show details
Excellent tire – Have had a set of these tires on my 06 Lancer 2.4 that is a workhorse car. Well maintained too I might add. 15,000ks on them so far and going strong, never let me down. They are just as good as the day they went on. Show details
Best bang for buck tyre – I fitted a set of these (215/50/18) to my 2017 BN Mazda 3 around 12 months ago now. They absolute transformed the cars grip levels for a more than reasonable price. Seeing that I love a great handling car, I also tweaked the Mazda 3 by lowering 30mm on sports suspension, and dialled in some extra front negative camber via camber bolts . These mods… Read more
then sent this humble car with the RE003’s as well into a complete next level of grip, handling and driving fun on the twisties. The tyres are wearing well, not noisy, and have a great tread pattern. Probably not for the track, but near perfect for the road. Will definitely buy again, and strongly recommend.
It is everything as advertised and beyond – Tyres are very grippy in all conditions at least on the right car, we have it on my mrs’ IS300H which is probably the right weight of a car for these tyres. Rear wheel drive as well considering in wet corners we do get to spin if the tyres aren’t good. So these ones pass the test! The compound is definitely softer and we don’t expect to get more… Read more
than 30,000km. We don’t have any shoes last that long so are also happy to get new ones for the car. Cannot stress enough about the right tyres for the right car, these tyres are not for lighter vehicles, you just can’t get the best out of them.
Awesome tyres – Came with my car. Have since driven 5000km's in the few months on a mix of roads, including urban, highways, gravel and rough roads, with plenty of tread left. When I first bought and drove in the car I felt the steering was a bit stiffer than my previous car (possibly because it was heavier) but after a while I didn't feel it was stiff anymore… Read more
and was very fluid. Maybe I got used to it or it was the tyres doing something.
Really grippy in dry and wet. I'm not sure why reviews say that it sucks, because I haven't noticed anything off.
Takes corners with ease.
Very responsive handling (very fluid) and comfortable to ride in, with not much road noise.
I run these staggered with the front 225/45/R17, rear 245/40/R17
I highly recommend these tyres, really good for price. Also there's a promotion for them at the moment, buy 3 get 1 free.
These tyres are fantastic – Have these tyres fitted to my ba falcon. Nice soft road feel, quiet and holds the cars line. Easy driving and cornering. Unbelievable performance in the wet, I have even pushed the turn to see how far they would go and no spin out or loss of grip. I got 90,000 km before replacement. Other tyres I have used only 40 to 50,000 know. Great tyre! Show details
Poor quality, horrible control in wet, low durability – I bought a full set of them for my Lexus IS350 Fsport, 2016 from Bridgestone Hornsby in 2020 at the beginning of COVID-19. So we haven't used the car much, after 10k we noticed loosing the grip on the wet conditions. Manufacturer's Warranty, Road Hazard Warranty and Wear Life Guarantee are not true and they asked me to pay $ 330 to change 2 out of 4 faulty products. Very disappointing. Show details
225/45R 18 95W XL BS RE003 Always have bought these for my Mazda 6. 34000 kilometres this set – Tyres perform pretty good in both wet and dry. You get fair bit of road noise. Durability my opinion is poor. Really think 34k is pretty low for easy driving Worse since they left Australia. I wouldn’t recommend buying these. I’m a slow learner lol Show details
These are bad, won’t buy them again – These tyres were great, great grip, excellent handling but only a 1000 k’s, tyres developed run out and high shoulders as if they were over inflated but tyres were only inflated as directed by every tyre shop. Tyres before they went airy were great but once they started doing their own thing, run out and high shoulders, my car started tracking… Read more
badly, developed vibration in steering which resulted in me taking them back to Bridgestone Select Caloundra. They tried faulting my rims but couldn’t find anything wrong with them. They’ve replaced them with a new set of tyres because all 4 needed replacement after 1600 k’s. The new set straight off the bat before I even put them on my car had high shoulders, they were visible and you could feel the dip in the middle, so straight up they were tracking badly following every rut in the road making my driving experience horrible, not very enjoyable when you are constantly fighting the steering just trying to go in a straight line. Just about everything is new in my steering, struts, ball joints, superpro bushings ect ect on my BF Falcon wagon. Bridgestone were still trying to find fault with my wheels but couldn’t find anything wrong with them and were making excuses as to why they were high in the shoulders. They want to send my rims and tyres away for testing but I couldn’t be bothered being mucked around, I just want to be able to drive my car without issue, so will be buying some cheap tyres as I always used to and tell Bridgestone to stick their Bridgestone Potenza’s where the sun don’t shine.

These tyres are terrible – I bought a set of 4 245/35/r19’s on the 27/5/21, I’ve only driven 1600 k’s on them and they have started distorting. They were great when I first got them and was the first time I forked out and bought decent tyres, should have stuck with cheap ones. My car started tracking badly and noticed that the centre of the tyres started sagging as if they… Read more
had been over inflated, I’ve always put 38 to 40 psi in them as recommended to me by nearly every tyre shop. All four tyres sagged in the guts and tracking bad on the road and then they have started to go out of round, so not only do they track badly, they now shake at highway speeds. I took them back to Bridgestone Select in Caloundra where I purchased them, they saw that they weren’t right, took videos and photos of the defects in the tyres and contacted their head office, head office said that they want them sent to Brisbane to check the tyres, I said alright but they them changed their mind and wanted them sent on the rims, I said no way, every time someone goes near my chrome 19’s they get marked and scratched. They could see in the videos that my rims were good and their tyres were crap, so now I have to wait for someone from Bridgestone to come to my house to check the tyres, god knows how long that will take, luckily I have a spare set of wheels to put on my car. Not happy at all, the defects are obvious and I don’t understand why I have to be mucking around and having to wait, the product is faulty, so either give me new tyres or refund me and I’ll go somewhere else and buy some tyres. Their under warranty and should be sorted out. It’s total nonsense, being on a pension and a full time career for my Mum, don’t have time to muck around. I liked the tyres until they started doing their own thing. Very annoyed and disheartened.
Wet grip is bad – I bought these tyres late 2020 for a 2015 Peugeot 308 1.2 manual running 16in wheels. They don't appear to be noisy. There have been no balance issues. I have driven on them about 600km on the freeway, about 200km rural B roads and about 1200km urban driving. I have not pushed these tyres very hard in the dry, except some large roundabouts taken… Read more
with some speed, where the grip was was not bad, but the speed was not particularly high, certainly nowhere near the car or tyres' limits. The tyres were bought from Bob Jane T-marts for about $100 each, which was cheap for a performance tyre at the time. What is very bad with these tyres is wet-weather grip. The speed with which these tyres (well, one tyre) loses all traction from a standing start in the wet is surprising for a so-called performance tyre. It has done this half a dozen times. With minimal throttle, letting out the clutch when taking off ofrom a T-junction, the inside wheel immediately begins to spin and continues to around the corner and only grips again when the clutch is disengaged. I have also experimented a little with taking sharp corners in the wet with a little more speed than usual, to find that the car understeers more quickly than expected. I do not trust these tyres. Despite having travelled less than 2000km, I will dispose of them when my daughter gets her licence and will be driving the car. Her life is worth more to me than losing money on a set of dangerous tyres. I keep putting it down to oil on the road, maybe the pressures are not right (have checked, even slightly reducing or increasing a few psi from placard) but in summary, I simply do not trust these tyres. Bridgestone, you have made some very, very good performance tyres - and I think I've driven on RE003s before, and thought that they were very good -- but what have you done with the RE003 since to make them so bad in the wet?
Very Disappointed – I bought these on 4-for-3 promotion at Bob Jane a couple of months ago to replace the worn out Continental Premium Contact tyres that came on my Renault Clio. My purchase was very much based on the overwhelming positive reviews on this website. So why the 2-star rating? For a start they're unacceptably NOISY. The inside of my Clio was a cocoon… Read more
of silence with the Conti's, but the Bridgestones make it more like riding in a diesel bus. I have to turn the stereo up a couple more notches just to hear it above the rumble. I've tried different pressures between 30-40 psi and it makes no difference.
The steering is also HEAVIER than it was before, which is counter to my previous experience with new tyres. I've always found new, freshly aligned and balanced tyres to give feathery light steering compared to the old ones.
But the clincher in giving 2-stars is that they don't even grip very well. My car is a 0.9L turbo and packs only slightly more power than a push bike. Nevertheless, with these tyres I can spin the wheels on take off in wet weather. I was NEVER able to do on the Conti's.
I see there's no kind of satisfaction warranty with these tyres, despite all their grand performance claims. So it looks like I'll be stuck with them until I have the budget to get rid of them. I've only done 700 km on them so far, but there's no way they'll be staying on till they're worn out.
Awesome tyres! – These tyres are amazing for the way i drive my A45. They grip the street like they are glued to the ground and give great feeling under brakes and through the corner. Some complain about milage? You dont buy tyres like this for milage. You buy this tyre because it makes your car stick to the ground like s$%t to a blanket! Show details
amazing service and quality work done – these guys are always amazing , service was very quick and very happy with the job done, i will recommend them any day of the year for hassle less experience . thank you Show details
Worst Tyres I have had on any Car in 40 years – Grip is great on a V8 Commodore and noise is Ok but the steering..... From day one unbelievable bad. It's like driving on a train line with these one. Ok in a straight line but if I want to even just change lines, particularly at 100km/hr, the steering wheel resists and even starts shaking. the steering checked by the dealer and all was good. I still have 50% tread after 20000km but its time they went!
Did not even last 40000 kilometres – Tires are good but did not last even 40000 km I would not recommend to buy these tires as they wear very quickly not even 1 year old and had to change new tyres Show details
Tyres have saved me in wet and dry weather – These tyres give you the confidence you are going to have the extra grip, in situations your's and your car's abilities are pushed to the limit. For example, where a car has pulled out or person at the last minute, and you need to stop or swerve suddenly in the wet or dry. As well as being able to accelerate hard to get into busy traffic… Read more
without wheel spin in dry or wet.
There has been numerous times in my 14yrs of owning my Mazda 2006 SP23 these tyres along with the car's electronic stability control have saved me from a potential accident.
Once Mazda servicing on their recommendation changed my tyres to a different brand, and they were noisy, with a lot less grip. After one 800km trip I told them to take them off and replace with these Potenzas (same as what was on from factory).
Other than the 800km above, my 190000 km have been using these Potenzas, and for a number of years I was driving 40000km per year, including a number of trips along the Great Ocean Road per year (long way home from seeing clients). Now I drive about 3000km per year in this car (son doesn't fit in back anymore).
My model of Mazda 3 is known to be noisy, these tyres make it a lot quieter. I get about 40000 km out of my tyres. They do get noisier as they wear.
I notice these tyres have a lot more grip than what is put on a lot of cars. For example, our 2014 Camry Hybrid I have to be careful in driving in the wet and dry, as they just do not have the grip these do.
I have given 4 stars, as the last vehicle I used to purchase performance tyres for, was a Holden VL Calais with Yokohama tyres got another 20000km (60000km).
Great value for a summer tyre – I'm into my third set of these tyres. They are noisy, which means they grip, and wear out too soon. However, I still buy them. On my Peugeot RCZ I have now Potenza S001 tyre. And they are Ferrari fit.
Brilliant tyres in wet or dry although a bit noisy – I have these tyres on my Skoda VRS which has been flash tuned and goes extremely well. I was sold on RE001s when I had a Clio Sport. I couldn’t imagine a better tyre. Show details
Awesome Tyres. Great traction in dry and wet – Great tyre! Bought it during promotion ' 3 for 4 tyre'. Put it in a 1st gen Mazda Mx5, which had crappy tyres. With RE003 it transform the car. Brought it to the track and provide must traction in the corners. Tyre wear is OK as expected for a softer compound tyre. Couldn't assess the road noise for it as my car is a convertible. Would recommend if you want more grip from your car. Show details
