Fraud company – Please do not deal with this company and save yourself from a hassle of dealing with a fraud company and loosing you money. Called up the company for a flooring report to be made and a guy named John answered the call. He told me a cost of $429 for the person to come inspect the flooring and prepare the report and share it with me. Nobody showed… Read more
up on the day it was promised. After chasing them again and again a few days later a guy named Ali came to inspect the flooring and advised I’ll have to pay more money to get the report. To my surprise when I showed him the invoice sent by John which was paid in full already he dint bother and said you can have your refund.
I advised I’m fine with the refund then as this is an unethical practice of taking money and then asking for more money. It’s coming to a month and they haven’t refunded anything and ignoring my calls now. I’m in the process of taking things legally however save yourself the hassle of dealing with this company and repenting later on.
After going through all the reviews now I feel sad I wish I would have seen them before dealing with this company.
They don't pay you if you do a job for them – If you work for them don't expect to get paid.
Disappointing - would not recommend – Initially sales person was overzealous and helpful, albeit we cant take sample tiles home. available. I asked for an immediate refund, and they said, go back and see if there is another you like. We go back in and all of a sudden we are allowed to take samples home. None suited so we asked for a refund. (over $2k). They then came back and said it would have to wait until the start of the next month pay run. Being a small business, we thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt and allow the 3 weeks. That date came and went and its now been nearly 7 weeks and we still have no refund. On the occasion we get a reply we get more excuses as to why they cannot refund us straight away. I would NOT recommend this company and are very disappointed. We tried to support a small business, but it was not worth it.

Beware Nathan at Brighton Flooring – I went into Brighton Flooring wanting laminate flooring in a small bedroom. Nathan quote me one price if I went through Brighton Flooring and a cheaper one if I went through his company which seemed a legitimate company. seems like a warranty issue or due to the installation at the edge of the room. 5 MONTHS LATER, the company won’t even respond to me. I have called, sent numerous txt messages and emails, even the manufacturer is trying to help me but still the owner Ali doesn’t have the decency to even respond.

Amazing job – Absolutely in love with our flooring, such an easy process from walking into the show room and choosing our Timber to the installation. Customer Service was great, until you pay them – Brighton Flooring had a great selection, and were very courteous until the point when I paid invoice. I needed an additional amount of tiles, and thereafter I was constantly calling and following up with no response. daily, that their tile was almost $5 more than any other supplier. They also owe me two boxes of broken tiles, which I will never get back as I had to take my business elsewhere. Also I specifically had asked for a 'HONED' tile which they said the one I ordered was. IT WAS NOT. If you have to use them, just make sure you get everything you need before you hand over payment, as that's when the service stops.
So professional – Highly recommend Ali. He was an absolute gentleman. He couldn’t help enough and very knowledgeable. So very happy with his recommendation on the flooring. Looking forward to continuing throughout the house.
Fantastic Experience, would highly recommend Brighton Flooring! – I have been to so many flooring shops before and i so was confused with the different flooring systems. Went to Brighton flooring and spoke to Vincent and he spent a good 2 hours explaining the different options and made me understand everything about it. Installation was absolutely perfect. Exactly what was promised.
Dishonoust sales practices – We were looking for hardwood timber flooring for a new dwelling construction and went to flooring shops around the area. check. As we were running out time, he promised to bring some samples to our site in the evening. He turned up to our site with one of his assistants on Friday around 5.00 pm already getting dark the winter time in Melbourne. With his limited choice of product, he forcefully convinced us to sign a sales contract with 10% deposit paid by the credit card. There was a 48 hrs cooling off period for the contract. (Price was A$ 76.00 / m2 supply only). Delivery was after 8 weeks and to be confirmed.
When he went back to the shop, he has charged the full amount and I only noticed it on following Monday morning when I checked my net banking.
Also during the weekend, we managed to find Hard wood flooring at a reasonable price and also we noticed the same engineered flooring for A$ 46.00/m2 supply only).
As he cheated us on using my credit card details to get full amount for a product we really didn't wand, I rang on Monday midday to cancel the order, The same sales person told me he already ordered the material and order cannot be cancelled. If cancelled he is going to keep 50% of the amount he charged on my credit card.
I told him it is not right to keep 50% as I have a 48 working hrs cooling off duration and I cancelled within cooling off period. Despite that I had to lodge a complaint with my bank to get even the 50%. They kept the remaining 50% and even Consumer Affairs couldn't do anything.
My advice to customers, never handover credit card details to these type of sales people or anyone. If they cannot process the transaction electronically in front of you, just forget about the deal and go somewhere else.
I wander how these type of crooks still surviving doing business.
