Poor info and duty of care

Our first order ended up being short supplied due to wrong stock and broken tiles. No refund of extra boxes that became obsolete due to over 30 day period. Cost us more and waited for a refund on lastest extra different colour tiles purchased

Terrible Customer Service - Woolloongabba Store

Great affordable tiles, VERY VERY bad customer service. Terrible experience with tiles not being delivered when advised (mistakes happen, I understand that) what I don't understand is very rude and dismissive staff who don't care and who make the issue yours and not their own. Ive not experienced such rudeness from a company who is 100% in the wrong. Shame, they could have turned this around with an understanding tone and an honest and understanding apology and an effort to at least try and fix the problem with ease. I have another bathroom to tile, won't be going back. Appears the lady who replies to the reviews is also the lady I dealt with, should be interesting to see what reply I receive, if any ; )
Also had tiles with Beaumont tiles, easy transition had a similar delivery issue, yet totally different experience. Fixed issue within 30 mins and apologised for the error. ...easy!

Happy return customer

This is the second bathroom reno where we have used National Tiles. Great prices and range. Accessible shop locations and opening hours. We will definitely use National Tiles again and recommend to our friends.

Drove an hour: tiles weren't there

I was told my tiles had arrived from interstate so I drove an hour. When I got there was told a mistake had been made and they hadn't been sent.

Caused significant delays

I placed an online order over a week ago and scheduled tiles to be delivered yesterday. I called this morning to ask what had happened to my delivery only to be told the tiles are not in stock and are on back order for another month. There was never any notification when I placed the order online that there was a stock issue, I never received any emails to advise that there was a stock issue OR issue with scheduled delivery. When I called this morning they said there had been a voicemail left the day prior which I can categorically confirm there was not.

We have already started demo and now have to sit with a gutted bathroom and laundry for the next month. We have 3 little ones so to be without our bathroom and laundry for this long has an enormous impact. We have let our trades down also and have a huge amount of materials sitting in our garage which is a liability.

The communication and customer service from National Tiles is disgraceful and I will not be using or recommending them to anyone in the future.

Good but could be better

Store staff are excellent and very helpful and knowledgeable, the delivery on the product was not as good. Had to wait an extra 2 weeks and was not told of the delay, took a day off to receive the tiles that never turned up. They apologised and told that they would call when they were on there way, didn't happen, I needed to arrange someone to meet them asap as they were waiting for me.

Great setup

Efficient, helpful, enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and product knowledge great. I was impressed when I walked in the store, I half expected an old rundown warehouse but to my surprise it was snazzy clean well setup

Good outcome, but a few problems

Overall excellent service and problem resolution from Wingfield store especially (Lawrence went over above to minimise my inconvenience and smooth over shortcomings of online customer service) and the Nailsworth store. Pretty poor effort from the customer service centre. Overall good quality tiles at excellent prices.

Professional and efficient.

We have dealt with the Mornington branch a few times recently and found the staff and Alana in particular to be very professional and offer exceptional customer service. They are always very friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Couldn't fault service or advise

Showroom at Burleigh was spotless, even though all staff were busy with other customers they acknowledged and greeted us on arrival. We had a clear vision of what we wanted but after discussing with staff we altered our plans - their advise was great, the products we purchased of high quality and the end result of our renovation was fantastic.

There was some difficulty in organising payment and delivery

Seemed to be more complicated than necessary

I also object to having a cc charge particularly when there was no easy way of paying by cash
