A wheel fell off and i cut my hand!
I have had multiple issues with this pram.
From fairly early on, one of the wheels kept falling off and had to be completely replaced.
As well as this a steel cable within the pram frame frayed; becoming exposed at the handle. I cut my hand on this cable.
Both repairs happened under warranty so once I produced evidence of purchase to britax I had to drive to brookvale (from Penrith) to have the pram repaired as no “loan pram” was available. I was assured this would be the fastest way to get my pram back. It took several weeks.
A year later...and we are expecting our second child. I’ve been advised that in order to use my Britax capsule and pram seat on the stroller I need to buy a whole new seat/tandem pack for $270. In the current climate we are in no position to afford this additional expense. I regret this purchase the pram is not worth the money and has been fraught with issues. To date britax have not apologised for any inconvenience, dissatisfaction or injury caused by their product.
Space Craft Looking Wheels but LOVE the pram itself!
- Parent Facing and Forward Facing and very easy to change in a hurry.
- Easy to get in and out of the car quickly.
- Easy to fold up and put in the car, not as easy as some but definitely not hard.
- Beautiful design.
- Has bag holders on the handle! Great for shopping or even nappy bag.
- Decent amount of storage space.
- Lots of handle height settings.
- Has a strap attached to the handle for a child to put hand through and hold while walking.
- Can remove the seat and place a capsule, bassinet and also add a tandem seat and have many different ways of placing them (one of the main reasons I bought it but haven't yet had a second child to try with yet)....
Purchased in April 2018 for A$800.00.
I bought this pram when I was expecting my second child. When putting on the second seat then bassinet you can only have the bassinet facing outwards and on top. It’s actually not even usable as the bassinet was so far into the second seat below that it was virtually hitting my toddler in the face and the seat had to be reclined all the way back making my toddler lay down. I called britax and the lady I spoke to said it’s designed to have the second seat lying down to distribute the Weight so the pram doesn’t topple over. It’s extremely unsafe if that is the case and I haven’t even been able to use the pram with the problem of the seat hitting my toddler in the face. Worst design of a pram, do not recommend.
Love d design above all. I decided to get this pram as it comes w/ d bassinet w/c i was able to use for a long time(til now) its really sturdy n reliable on all terrains. my only concern was that d toddler seat canopy is flapping back all d time even after getting a replacement for it. not sure if its just me?cos my friend got d same pram n she was fine w/ it. Get this pram if u have big space in your car boot. overall still happy with my pram
Perfect pram for our bubba!
Bought this pram just because I loved the wheels... so cute!
After buying and now having used it for almost 8 months (2 months with the bassinet), I can easily say this is such an easy pram/stroller to handle. Love the sunshade, love the removable bar, love the incline adjusts, love everything about it :)
Pretty effortless on uneven surfaces, easily maneuvered. Felt it was a little expensive initially... now it seems justifiable.
Great but not perfect
We have owned the britax flexx for over a Year now, and we think its a great mid price, safe pram. Its strong and light. Easy to steer, quiet and our darling has been comfirtable in it. The sun canopy extends which is fantastic for our climate in australia. Its wide enough for our darling to be comfortable as she grows (so far). Lockable wheels for going over sand etc, awesome. Very functional.
My only gripe, well there is 2 the basket is poorly designed and annoying but i get why they made it that way, its flexible.
Its great the pram doesnt...
Usless pram in tandem mode
The pram as a single is wonderful however I purchased this as a tandem pack ....very unhappy with it!! The whole design as a tandem pram was not thought out properly at all!! Very hard to get the child in the bottom seat in and out and can be some what dangerous at times!
The design has made it very awkward to hang a bag on handle whilst in tandem mode as bottom seat stick out too far.
The storage basket is useless in single and in tandem mode becomes a place for your child to put their feet.
I advise against anyone purchasing this pram for tandem use
Love my Flexx
I love my britax Flexx. It is light enough that with a broken shoulder Im able to lift and fold it without assistance. I’ve used it as tandem with my 3yr old in the top and autistic 5yr old down the bottom. While they say up to 17kg, my 5yr old weighs around 22kg and I have no issues with him down there, only thing is he is just getting too tall. We will be using it with new baby come December so he will have to get out anyway. The sun shades are a great size, if you’re finding them too small, remember there is a zip to undo and extend them further :)
Purchased in April 2019.
Wonderful everyday Pram
This is a very lightweight pram, it's easy to get into my car boot. I have a small hatchback car and it was the only pram that was compact, lightweight and came with a second seat unit for baby two. It's an awesome everyday pram to use, I love it.
My baby is comfortable in the seat unit and falls asleep in it all the time no matter where we are.
The wheels are great, I never have to worry about flat tires as the wheels don't need to be inflated.
Highly recommend this pram.
Good double pram
I have had the pram for 9 months now i bought it for my 2 year old and newborn. Easy to use, stable and best of all is that it’s easy to configure seats in different positions to suit the situation (forward/backward facing combinations and also fully recline for the newborn or sleeping to upright). The price Included a rain cover too which is so handy if it was drizzling or threatening rain.
Probably wouldn’t use it as a single as it’s more bulky than other singles but that came in handy if I was shopping with just the one kid and there was heaps of room for shopping with just a single seat. Good as a double though.
Good pram overall, with some changes could be great
After using it for 6 months i got good and some less good experience(used as single only)
-lightweight and super easy to manoeuvre almost no pushing at all.
-nice design and love how easy and simple can fix the seat in and can recline the seat.
-With one hand and one click is up and running
-pretty good on grass and gravel, no issues.
Not so good:
-Very poor design of the baggage area, can touch the ground if not properly fxed to the pram as well if extended it goes over the back wheels release button and with some heavy shopping ...
Purchased in November 2018 for A$750.00.
Regretful purchase! Baby very uncomfortable..
I bought this pram as we need to replace a single pram with a double one soon. I've only used Flexx
for a few week as a single pram so I cannot review its double pram functionality at this stage.
There are good and bad things about it and to be honest I feel very frustrated now as I was expecting so much more after reading all these good reviews..
-Easy to push, easy to manoeuvre.
- looks pretty elegant and its a lightweight pram too.
Wheels started making noise only after 12 days of use
The pram looks good, have everything i needed and my baby also looks so comfortable in it.. but only after 12 days of use the wheels started making occasional squeaky noise.. and now it's a continuous issue. This is a quite expensive pram and this sort of performance is really disappointing. Very very upset with the purchase.

We've been using this pram for 6 months. It's lightweight like I wanted, it's got great suspension so it rides easy over bumps and it's easy to manoeuvre, a very smooth ride. We thought the bassinet was really easy to get on and off too and as well as the seat. Everything clips and unclips so easy with this pram. It was hard to decide what pram to buy as there are so many on the market but we are happy with our choice.

The best pram ever!
I did extensive research over a course of 6 months into all prams from top of the range to budget as i wasnt afraid to spend the money on a pram that met all or most of my needs. I visited the baby expo several times just for the prams, numerous baby shops, watched youtube videos and read review after review to find the perfect pram for us. This pram outdid the top of the line in terms of weight (lifting in and out of the car on my own), ease of use (set up and drop down), manouverability, looks, canopy cover, reversible seat, bassinet option a...nd basket size. You can steer this pram with one finger, it is that light but the quality gives you the stability you need for peace of mind. Our baby is 12 days old and we've already had a few compliments on just the look of the pram alone - we bought the navy colour. I am so happy with this pram, I couldn't recommend it more - and baby loves being in it. We were also lucky enough to get the bassinet for free with the pram but we haven't used it yet. It's much bigger than we expected and she's a bit too tiny for it at the moment. The overnight sleeping option will be great for when we decide to head to hubby's parents in country NSW. Will save us getting a portacot for now. You won't regret this purchase!

The perfect stroller!
This pram is fantastic! We have been using it for nearly three months now, its very light weight and compact and fits everything we need with a newborn. Have recommended it to all our parents to be friends.
The pram moves so smoothly on all surfaces and is very easy to manoeuvre. Our little bub loves to be pushed in the pram and for a fussy sleeper always manages to fall asleep in the pram so wouls say the suspension is great and its very comfortable for him.
Review collected in partnership with Britax
We had to buy this for our baby girl
We already had a cheap second hand gumtree pram but while out someone walked past with one of these so we asked to have a closer look as decided to get one ourselves. Loads of room in the bag thing below for storage and the frame work is exelently made and well designed
Perfect for 1st time parents
Just love the quality and price is reasonable Best Buy so far and light and easy to assemble and carry.love the storage space holds more than I thought.my baby loves it as well. The rain over inclusively is a bonus. I highly recommend this product to new parents

I chose this stroller because it was smaller than some of the other double ones and based on the price.
It is lightweight and super easy to maneuver. The storage basket also holds more than I expected. Another reason I chose it was for the extendable canopy. This has be super handy with the winter sun being lower.
It is easy to fold and put in the car and I can even leave my shopping in the basket which is great.
I miss having a peep window so I can see my baby when she is facing away but it’s not the end of the world. The wheels ar...e really easy to remove so I also think it would be good to have an upgrade set of wheels available. Most other brands have air tyres so having a choice would be good. Again, not the end of the world though. Overall I love this stroller and I’m so pleased I bought it. I would recommend this to anyone.

I just found out I am having twins and already have a britax flexx pram, I love the pram and know i can have it as a tandem with the regular seats or one capsule and seat at bottom however am wondering can I have two capsules placed on it?
Not sure if that's possible. You might be best to go into a Baby Bunting store and get the Ladies in store to see if it can be done on there display pram.
Thanks ness, unfortunately my closest baby bunting is 300km away as I live in a rural area but will try and investigate otherwise. Thanks
Hi Twins. thanks for your question. The Flexx cannot be used with two capsules. Please see below link which shows all the possible configurations.
