Such a life saver – It was not my idea to use a Bubba Moe sling. My partner went to a local baby shop for something else and he came back with the sling. It was a great choice. Easy and safe to use. A safety tether belt is attached to the back of the sling. Our first baby lived in it when he was really young. We used this sling every night in order to make our… Read more

baby sleep. Whenever he was grumpy, just pop him in and he became happy!

Once my baby gets heavy, around 8kg, my shoulder and back get sore and I tend to use an Ergo baby carrier more often.

I don't know why but our second baby didn't like being in the sling so we didn't use it much for her.

Not adjustable to fit smaller ladies – I was unable to use this sling as it won't tighten enough in order for me to carry my baby securely. Even on the tightest setting it is far too loose. Babies carried in this style of sling should be close enough to kiss when you tilt your head forward. Looks like it could be easy to use if it fit me, Too big, not sufficiently adjustable.

There are different sizes. You probably got a size that is too big for you

So happy, both of us! – I was hestitant to get a sling for us to use. I had used a Bjorn and although it works fine, it was not to my comfort or bubbas. I find it hard to carry her as she is 7 months, 10kgs and tall but I am having ligament pain in my arms. To carry her for 10mins is near impossible as my arm goes numb and it becomes dangerous. I have had a Bubba Moe… Read more

for 4 days now and I am so happy for many reasons. My baby is loving seeing what I am doing, she looks happy and comfortable with a huge smile being included in my day.

Tonight we went to our first party together with mainly adults and I was able to repostion the sling for snuggle time, feeding and meeting everyone time. We were able to stay longer because we were both very comfortable. And when I want to make a cuppa or wash some dishes the half back is fab, and she thinks it is a riot too! A comfortable, clever and ideal way for single mums or any mum. Wish I knew about it sooner as I have missed out on cuddle time. I found other people's reviews helpful, hope this is too Reliable, easy to use, informative easy instrutions, worth every cent Need more funky colors

I love this sling! – I own both a front pouch (made me feel like I was still pregnant) and a ring sling (didn't feel secure for a newborn), but for my 3rd child I needed something that would let me use both hands whilst looking after 2 other kiddies. This sling does that. It is perfect for the school run, shopping or taking the older kids to the park. I have used… Read more

the Bubba Moe since my daughter was a newborn as she had issues with the pram. It is easy to use; feels very secure when you are wearing it; it doesn't hurt your shoulder or cut into your neck; and the instructions are easy to follow. My daughter is now nearly 1 and I still use the sling on a regular basis. She loves being close to me, especially when she is teething or sick. Would definately recommend this product to anyone. Love that it is very easy to put on (slips over the head), the baby has enough room inside to comfortable sit / lay, & that it has the secure clip which gives piece of mind when not holding on to the baby tightly.

Bubba Moe Carrier – I bought this sling as I wanted something to carry my newborn in & didn't want anything that would wrap around me like other wraps & ties. The bubba moe sling was easy to use & comfortable for both myself & my baby. The material was very generous & lightly paddded around the rail for the comfort of baby. It was easy to use as it had a… Read more

Perfect solution to be hands free – I have only been using my Bubba Moe sling for 2 weeks, and could not be happier. The sling length is fully adjustable, and as the mother of twins that weigh substantially different, the adjuster is a saviour for my back and neck. It's also really easy for my husband to use, and adjust for his comfort. Both babies love the comfort of the sling, and I have no concerns carrying them in it. reliable, inexpensive

Saved my sanity – I first bought the sling 5 and !/2 years ago after buying a babybjorn which for me didn't work as my babe woke up everytime I took this off. I am now on my third child and still love this sling for so may reasons: simple, easy to swap between parents, great for airports especially those bus transfers, washes well, great as a hammock on the cot… Read more

when a new born, I found it great to feed with as I could walk and feed discreetly, it is now making school drop offs a breeze ( I have bought two other slings from different companies and they weren't as good as the sling size wasn't large enough and they weren't as comfy as the Bubba Moe. Great for Breast feeding Wish it came in a funky design

Bubs loves it! – My bubba-moe is a lifesaver! My little girl is teething and clingy at the moment, so she practically lives in it! It's padded for mum or dad on the shoulder, and you can wear it for hours without feeling sore. Bub fits in it perfectly, and it's super easy to put on and adjust once bubba is in. Breastfeeding is easy-peasy! I can feed bub while… Read more

Where were you all my mothering life?? – Loved it! Only got it for baby no. 3 when he had reflux and wouldn't sleep. So easy, great for school run and grocery shopping, garage sales, anything where you need your hands free, pram free, and baby to sleep well. Our baby loved it even though we didn't get it until he was 2 months old. I have since convinced many friends with newborn bubs… Read more

to get one. They come to visit with a cranky baby and i suggest letting me put them in the sling, then we can go for a walk, bake, play with older kids outside, do the washing, or sit on the couch and veg, then they say, oh wow, i can't believe my baby has slept so well and settled! All babies i have in the sling tend to purr, it's very cute.

I have had back pain for nearly 15 years and yet the sling doesn't bother me! Although I can't have my baby (now 12kg) in it for more than an hour at a time now.

Unlike other slings, this one is adjustable after you put it on, very important if you want comfort for you. The only way to get it comfy is to be able to pull it tight once you have it on to get it positioned right. Super easy after the first week of using it. I could bend right over and tough my toes and baby would hardly move. Very secure. Can't believe anyone wouldn't love it. Not for everyone but just so you know, if you are out shopping and need the loo, easy to go with baby in the sling in certain positions. See their website. So easy to get on and off quickly, great for school drop off. While other mums are sorting out heavy prams we are in our sling and off and running! Also great when it was raining. Baby in sling, umbrella in one hand keeping us dry and spare hand for other kids or shopping etc Also like that if baby falls asleep, you can take off the whole sling with baby still in it and put them in car seat or on a bed, without moving them and waking them up!. Don't give up if it seems awkward at first. You will get the hand of it. And pull it tight so it is right against you. You could then do star jumps and baby won't fall out! I couldn't work out how to feed with it on, but sure others could.

Fabulous baby carrier no mother should be without – I used this baby carrier with my new born, and I'm still using it today to carry my 20 month old. This sling was fabulous and so much better than many of the others on the market. born all the way up. My little one also found this one of his favourite places to sleep which was one of my favourite qualities. It didn't matter where we were or what I was doing - he was happy to snooze away!!

Finally - this was a wonderful way to disguise yourself whilst breast feeding - the sling allowed me to feed and cover the two of us so that we both felt comfortable and happy. inexpensive, durable (ready for the next baby)

Excellent – I have both a BabyBjorn Active and a Bubba Moe sling. They have both been excellent at different stages and for different purposes. I used the Bubba Moe extensively when my son was tiny. It was winter so I wanted to keep him close to check he was a comfortable temperature and it is reportedly better for tiny spines to be in 'sling' style… Read more

carriers. The added benefit was that well-meaning strangers couldn't touch him which helped to avoid winter colds and flu. He also settled and slept really well in the sling as the wearer moved about. Slings can be a particular blessing for parents of babies who are not happy in prams and car seats.

We used the sling less as he got older - we couldn't get the hang of a supported carry where he could see out easily and he got a bit heavy for my sore back with his weight on one shoulder.

Later, when he was over one year we started using the Bubba Moe again in a hip carry position - it fits conveniently in the nappy bag for when he was tired and needed a carry. It requires a slightly stronger back (i.e. my husband) for this but both parent and child were very happy with the result.

I strongly recommend getting a colour/design that everyone who might be carrying the baby will be happy to wear. A very effective 'sling' style carrier. Like other reviewers the 'one shoulder' aspect of this sling was not comfortable once my baby got bigger, or for extended wear. This can be mitigated somewhat by swapping shoulders periodically.

Excellent – Don't go for immitations, I know they're a bit pricey but I bought a copy on Ebay (homemade) and it was rubbish. So I went out and bought a bubba moe, it's so great for settling young infants. It's magic, it settles a newborn and sleeps so well in it. Handy if you need to hang the washing out and if you have more than one child, nipping in and out… Read more

of places. Easy to adjust and carry, I wish I had one for my first child, the front carriers (baby bjorn types)are good, but for when they're older and for longer walks. The Bubba Moe has different positions too, great for breastfeeding. It holds them close like in the womb. After about an hour it can get heavy so you have to swap, not a problem really.

My baby didn't like it - preferred to be free – I bought this on the based of these reviews. I still agree that this is a great product, but my bub just didn't like it past a few weeks old. I did have trouble getting her in and out and I think she just got frustrated. I find the baby bjorn carriers to be more suited, but I am keeping my sling to use for my next baby. Great product, well made and a great idea My baby didn't like it.

Good – I bought the Bubba Moe sling with the intention of using it a lot more than I have. The problem for me is that every time I put baby in, he expects to breastfeed! This is probably due to being in the same position. I am planning to try it again when he is a little older and able to have his head out more. If I do get him in at the right time (when… Read more

Excellent – I've found the Bubba Moe to be great. My bub loved it when she was little, and now that she is older we still use it to support her sitting on my hip. Very comfortable to use (for short to medium periods), lots of padding for Mum & Bub. Great colours and designs. Doesnt take up too much space in nappy bag, and is easy to use & adjust.

Excellent – We only used our Bubba Moe for about 12 weeks. But during that 12 weeks I loved it. Would recommend it to others. Comfortable for wearer Comfortable for child Gorgeous designs Can breast feed while wearing your child Great while travelling Can take a few goes to get some of the carry positions down pat I didn't like the idea of using it to carry an older child

Excellent – I got conned into "swapping" my BM for a mini monkey for just 10 mins, so that she could see how a toddler would fit.I felt the difference straight away, the BM's are much better. Aussie Made too.Gets my vote So easy to use, the wide shoulder pad helps take the strain, and it doesn't slide into the neck, Little Miss is now 3, and I have 2 Bubba Moe's sort off( trying to get one back) I keep seeing new colours, but 1 off mine is a limited edition, so haven't seen anyone else with it.

Excellent – I love my Bubba Moe. I had a Ryco 4 in 1 carrier, which suits my husband just fine, but I found too bad to my back- the sling is much more comfortable. found my Bubba Moe so easy to use, its very comfortable, I have been able to walk around for 2 hours at a museum with my 7.5kgs baby with no sore back- in fact it felt quite good. I have the florentine design, which is a lightweight fabric and was great in 30 degree heat. My baby can still fit in a cradled position when sleeping and breastfeeding, and is now able to sit in the forward facing joey position. It is great for settling my baby, and often use it when at the computer to allow two handed typing. Thanks to the adjustable straps my husband and I can switch very easily. The range of designs. Too many to choose from, I spent too long in the baby store just trying to decide which one to get!!!!

Excellent – I wasn't sure when I got the sling that he would like it. However, I am so happy I got the Bubba Moe as he love it. The reason why I chose this particular sling is because of the adjustable strap, so mum and dad can use it and it is not complicated to use. our baby LOVES his sling. We put him in there to settle him and he falls to sleep within minutes. He is getting heavier now so it does strain my back a bit.

OK – I bought my bubba moe after a friend of mine told me how fantastic hers was. I did find it a little hard to use at first, it was such a pain trying to get it on and sit right with baby in it. still using hers today and her bubs is 9kg - she loves the fact that she can carry him on her hip and having her hands free. In saying this, I will probably start using it again once bubs has a bit more neck strength and I can use the other positions. They have a great range of colours and the material seems quite strong. The padding on the shoulder really helps. Once I got comfortable and baby was comfortable inside, he would fall asleep within 5 mins - fantastic if your baby has trouble sleeping like mind does. It is difficult to get baby in and out of - I think this is especially so when you haven't been using it from birth and are trying to get baby comfortable as well as yourself. Baby seems to be quite squished inside and gets hot - I used mine in winter - not sure if I would want to be putting baby in it during the hot summer months.

OK – I really wanted it to work for both my 1st and then my 2nd born (I keep trying!) but maybe I'm too short, small-framed and short-waisted - bubs would always end up a scrunched-up bundle at the bottom, banging against my pelvis. Perhaps they need sizes as my husband seems to have no problem with it? (seemingly) easy to slip on; comfortable,… Read more

breathable light-weight fabric; kind of hippy-looking but still sturdy and well-made really tricky to get the positioning of both bubs and wearer correct; bubs seemed to disappear in all the fabric; when bending over bubs would swing out and away so wasn't totally secure; uncomfortable and hot

Terrible – my mum ended up making me a sling herself and this was much easier to use and bub was more comfortable in it (she would even sleep in it) whereas the bubba moe my daughter would not settle and constantly moved. a total waste of money for me. hard to use and baby didnt like being in it, not comfortable to wear

Bad – Overall I wouldn't recommend this sling. I have the baby bjorn as well as the new Ergo Baby Sport and love both of them. hands free (which it was). It is nice and light and easy to pack in a suitcase of bottom of pram for a day out. Neither of my children liked being in it. The sling gets heavy quickly on your shoulder, so you do need to change from side to side regulalry and this of course wakes or unsettles your baby.

Good – Good sling for the first few weeks of the baby's life, but too uncomfortable to wear as the baby gets heavier, even though the sling technically has the strength and capacity to allow you to carry the baby when they are bigger and heavier. well. She slept very well in the sling as she could feel the movement of my body which mimicked the womb experience. I loved the look of the sling, and the shoulder padding made it comfy to wear for short periods. It was also very helpful that the sling has a clip to enable it to be taken on and off, as well as the ability to make it longer or shorter depending on the height of the wearer - this meant that both my husband and i could use the sling and easily adjust it accordingly. Because the sling goes over one shoulder it is uncomfortable to wear for extended periods. I found it difficult to get the baby in and out of the sling. Now that my baby is 5 kg she is just too heavy for me to wear her comfortably in the sling, and i have stopped using it.

Excellent – Overall I would definately use the Bubba-Moe sling again with another baby, it is really quite handy for the mother, as well as I found my baby loved being close to me and she would often just go to sleep if I was just walking around. ensure you get the appropriate sizing for your body height and shape. Excellent for very newborn or young babies, I found it really helpful when my eldest daughter was at kinder and rather than getting out a pram I would just put my baby in the sling, which meant I still had my hands free and could attend to my daughter attending kinder. Great if you are trying to still do stuff around the house and you want your baby to either sleep or be contented as they feel they are still with you and you can still do things at the same time. As my baby became a little older and wanted to look around more rather than sleep all of the time I felt it didn't work quite as well as what it originally did.

to use and 7 different carrying positions which means sling will grow with your baby, I used a Bubba Moe sling with my son until he was 3. OK – I love the different fabrics and that it's quick to put on. But it's not very comfy for extended wear - neither for the wearer or the bub. comfortable to wear. The fact that it's jus supported on one shoulder means that I can't wear it for very long. And as my baby gets bigger it gets more uncomfortable.

Good – I did alot of research online and talking to baby stores in Brisbane about what sling to choose and after all that I got the bubba moe. website but not so many in the shops themselves, many choosing to stick to the plain colours. So if your looking for a particular style then I would suggest to call a store before going as they may be able to order it for you if you don't want to order it from their website. I also have a baby bjorn which is fabulous itself but unfortunately you can't breastfeed with it and I did try it as a tip from someone but my baby nearly fell out. Baby will not fall out of this one once she/he is in and to breastfeed while on the go with both hands free!!! I bought this mainly for breastfeeding while walking/shopping and it does serve it's purpose but with a little difficulty at first but persistance will pay off. It only took me a few days to find a comfort zone. Adjustable strap it great and you will need it. Fabrics are lovely. Padding for shoulder is appreciated. Price is a tad expensive but worth it if you are on the go all the time. You don't always want to pull out the pram and if you do then bring both as you can push the pram thats carrying your shopping while breastfeeding baby. Thats what I like about it. Now I must admit that when I first tryed this in the shop with my baby I thought this is not for me. My baby cried while trying to adjust when she was in there and didn't seem to take to the breast as she was too upset with it all but I was told it was worth persisting. If baby cries take him/her out, settle then retry. Otherwise baby will learn it is a horrible thing and you won't win as I've heard from another mum who gave up and wished she hadn't. Other than that baby gets a bit hot and squishy but doesn't seem to mind. It's also hard to place baby in at first but the more you use it the easier it gets. Just make sure you hold her/him at all times until you feel that she/he is safely in there. You can't really adjust the strap by yourself while adjusting when baby's in there so you either ask for help or take baby out and readjust.
