Still awaiting outcome of claim – I took out a policy with Budget Direct on 10 Jan 2020 (cost $668.44) for an upcoming 5-week family holiday to USA, Mexico & Cuba. With no correspondence forthcoming, I emailed Budget Direct on 23 April and 13-days later received an automated response, again saying that the claim will be reviewed within 5 to 10 working days. I have since followed this up again on 21 May 2020 (still with no response). I am frustrated with the fact that 2-months since submitting my claim, I still don't even know the status.

Price of policy was good – Price of travel insurance policy was good. Didn’t use the policy as there were no issues in the trip. For people, who don’t claim on their policy, would like to see given a discount with their next budget direct policy Show details

Good value insurance but not tested by claim – The Budget website was very easy to use and the insurance was cheaper than TID which is now getting a little expensive. Like all insurance it feels like a total waste of money because i am very unlikely to use it. There is no problem until you have to claim and that is when you find out if they try to wriggle out of paying. I cannot comment on Budget because i have never claimed.  Show details

Good at excuse and misconduct – rude staff always misconduct you in different part of insurance policy.Like Adrienne's review on 25 Aug said 'Insurance promised so much but only delivered rude and insulting staff.'100% agreed.
