Complex 2 house 2 container interstate move - exceptionally well done – Clarke and Sheree organised the whole complex container coordination, including timing and sequencing, to/from our storage units in Melbourne and then via Sydney to our home in the NSW South Coast. of the containers were great people and so very careful with the placement and dropping off and picking up on time and keeping us informed of their arrival. The containers contained all the packing materials as promised.
They have a really professional team of people and agents and a very well coordinated system in place. The pricing was more than competitive when compared with other options. Being able to take our time to load and unload based on our time frames definitely made it a more efficient and relaxing experience and meant we could think carefully about initial placement of our furniture without the usual rush.

loved having the time to pack our own container and loved all the extra things like trolleys, rope and blankets that they supplied which was a nice touch. I can thoroughly recommend Budget Self Pack Containers for your next move!
Sadly they did not live up to the promise. I have damaged goods, the container was obviously mishandled and they refuse to use their insurance to cover the damaged items. Do not use these guys unless your stuff is old and you don't mind breakage. Make sure you have your own insurance.

Follow-up · Container size 20 foot. As we had no address for delivery while house hunting the container was able to be put into storage. Storage was needed for three weeks until we bought and settled on a property for delivery. We were happy with the storage arrangement and charges knowing our property was secure. The BSPC team kept in touch with us through the whole moving process right up to pick up of the empty container.

encountered two problems that were not related to Budget Self Pack Containers: the company we hired to load the container were not experienced in long distance removals and, consequently, some of our furniture was severely damaged because it was not loaded properly. It is imperative that you hire a team with experience in loading containers for cross country carriage. The second problem was that many white items (clothes, mattress, other items) had yellow discolouration when we unpacked them. We don't know why but put it down yellow dye on the carton branding or from dust encountered on the trip across the continent. So far, we have been able to remove the discoloration on the clothes. Nevertheless, Budget Self Pack Containers was fantastic.
Great to deal with in trying circumstances! – After a couple of frightening (!!) quotes for moving from Townsville to Hobart from "full service" moving companies, we opted for a self pack container. container was perfectly in sync with the arrival of Cyclone Kirilee! At the last minute we asked for the container a day early, so at least we had it once the power was gone and roads blocked. It was also a difficult drop off location, handled very well and patiently by the contracted drop off company. The early drop off worked out well (and the container offered a convenient cyclone shelter 'just in case' :-), although packing the container in 36degrees and 95% humidity was less than pleasant. The container arrived in Hobart a day earlier than predicted, and the Budget Self Pack crew were excellent in providing experienced advice, assessing our drop off point, and making sure we did things sensibly! Thanks team - much sweat and knuckle skin was lost, but we couldn't have asked for more from Budget Self Pack Containers.

at our new address, everything rain smoothly. We received an email providing all the details following my booking over the phone, with dates and times, etc, and the day prior to container drop-off, confirming the times the next day. On the drop-off day in Perth, we received a text to say the truck was on its way, with a tracking map, and this was followed up by a call from the driver to confirm. A straight forward drop off by the friendly guys, and the container was picked up same day, and arrived in Victoria 5 days later. On the day of dropping the container off to unpack, we received a call from the driver to say he was on his way, and arrived as expected. We were communicated with throughout the whole process.
We fully endorse Budget Self Pack Containers, and have no hesitations in recommending them.

Most Unprofessional Company - Budget Budget – DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If it is service & professionalism you require, rather spend the extra $ & go elsewhere. The staff (Clark Davies) will not communicate with you. Load on costs not negotiated, send you letters as attached, shout & speak to you like dirt. I have already organised paid flights, organised with rental company interstate to pick up keys, & along with parents taking time off work so know will be spending 6/7 days over there with Absolutely no belongings, rang lady in office and she stated it wasn’t 100% confirm for pickup Friday???? Moved from Adelaide to just north of Brisbane. Had 2 20ft containers and an unconfirmed move in date. All of this was stressful in theory but the team made it so much easier and were so accommodating. Drivers were easy to communicate with and were professional.
