We bought this a while back, while it was great at first it wasnt as durable as we wanted. It still served its purpose well, but might consider a differetn pram for our 2nd child. Show details

I’m not even sure how this happened. I was on a website looking for a chair with wheels. I thought this was like… a really cozy picnic cart. I didn’t know it was meant for a baby. I don’t even have a baby. But something in my soul said: "Buy it." When it arrived, I stared at it for 45 minutes. It had cup holders. Storage. Little straps. Shade.… Read more

Wheels that turn like they know where they’re going. I wheeled it around my apartment with a loaf of bread in it and felt something I can only describe as… maternal. Eventually, my friend let me test it with her actual baby. That baby looked at me with deep trust and zero judgment, like, “Yes. You. You were born to push me.” I felt chosen. This pram glides. It doesn’t roll — it floats. Over grass, gravel, heartbreak, and doubt. It folds gently, like it doesn’t want to hurt your feelings. The handles? Ergonomic. The vibe? Immaculate. The emotional support? Unmatched. I cried the first time I used it outside. A woman smiled at me and said, “Cute baby!” I panicked and said, “Thanks, her name is Lasagna.” I don’t even care. The pram made me feel safe. I still don’t have a baby. But I have a purpose now. Thank you, mysterious baby carriage. I am forever changed. ❤️

The prams and strollers needed to carry babies and older children need specific material used for building a pram or stroller. Bugaboo Cameleon has given the owner a perfectly machined pram for pushing your babies wherever you want.

I just started using this for my baby, and it's been a fantastic choice. The pram is stylish and offers a smooth ride across various terrains. The adjustable suspension and reversible handlebar make it adaptable to different conditions. I appreciate the three-position recline and the reversible seat. The redesigned under seat basket provides… Read more

easier access to essentials. While folding the pram requires separating it into two pieces, which can be a bit cumbersome, the overall quality and functionality make it worthwhile.

It's not OK – Edit: A few days ago the folding lock mechanism failed. One side of the handle wouldn't lock into position. Managed to get it to lock eventually but can no longer fold the pram up to put in the car without the mechanism failing. Changing rating from 3 to 2 and title from "It's OK" to "It's not OK" as a result of this development. Original… Read more

Review: Design is good enough but quality isn't great. We've had the pram for 1 year and in that time it has functioned well enough to continue using it.

Initially we had an issue with the canopy, it would not stay extended. Contacted the retailer who suggested it was an issue with the plastic mechanism for the canopy and sent a replacement. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue. We followed up but in the end it wasn't worth the hassle getting it sorted. I suspect the issue is actually that the fabric of the canopy is out of spec and too short, stopping the mechanism from locking as it's under tension.

The left handlebar grip came loose after about 8 months and slides down the bar constantly.

Overall, the pram still functions but if I had to do it all again I wouldn't be buying this product knowing what I know now.

PRO's Folds up and fits in the boot without issue. Wheel locking mechanism is reliable. Interchangeable between bassinet and seat and car seat Front suspension helps avoid getting stuck

CON's Canopy doesn't stay extended Handle grips came loose quickly Seat tilt adjustment seems to be at an odd angle (either very reclined or tilted forward, no upright position) Small front wheels can't roll over larger pavement cracks etc.

Good pram, not blown away – Moves easily on grass, can steer the pram with one hand, which is very helpful. The brake isn’t easy to use. I wish it was a foot brake. The fabric on the hood creases very easily and crease marks stay visible when hood is drawn.  Show details ·  1

The best investment I ever made – I was so hesitant to buy this pram due to the price tag but I am so glad we did. We used this pram so much when my son was young we jokingly referred to it as our car. It was worth every penny and I would definitely purchase one again if we ever needed to. Highly recommend!  Show details ·  1

So dissapointed! – As everyone knows it's expensive which isn't a problem but it is when after 8 months the steering gets tough and hard to steer!!!! Isn't good for all terrain only good for flat easy surfaces! I feel as though my first one 7 years ago lasted much better and longer then my new one! So disappointing!!!!! Show details

Great customer service. Got replacement for broken wheel and Chassic – Bought it as my sister was raving about it. It was great for new born baby as included bassnet. The tilt function, long cover, rain cover, reversible handle..etc...the unique design and functionality was great. Once baby turn to 2, I was using less and less as it feels bulkier and the disappointment started as the hinge on chassis was getting… Read more ·  1

loosened and one of wheel got cracked. Hence my satisfaction score was getting lower and lower. Also headhood was hard to remove, still cannot open the zip. Few days ago, finally I tackled these issues with bugaboo before 3 year extended warranty expiry date. I am blown away by smooth, seamless process by bugagoo customer service (Rachael). They replaced the parts straight away after video, photo evidence. Job done well.

All the bells and whistles and attractive to boot – For our first baby we wanted to buy a top-of-the-line pram, and I'll be honest, it had to look good as well. As pram newbies our criteria was simple- can we fold it down with minimal assistance from the sales representative in store? The bugaboo cameleon 3 plus won the battle. Although there were some other options which were easy to fold (some… Read more ·  1

even with a one-hand fold), the cameleon actually attracted us with its two parts (the bassinet or infant fabric, and the pram base). This was because as a fairly petite female I found many of the one-fold prams too heavy to lift easily.

The cameleon 3 plus is a solid, well-made product. It was the newest version out when we purchased it at the beginning of the year, and there were a lot of competitive pricing deals on as a result to promote the upgrade. The entire pram can be configured in many different ways, and very easily- the handle can be flipped forwards or backwards and the bassinet/seat chassis attached either way. This is achieved by pressing handy click-in buttons on the side. This also means that you can have the larger wheels facing forwards (for any "off-roading") or at the back for traditional setup. I believe the suspension can also be adjusted, too. It has performed well taking to the shops or out on walks on the footpath and occasionally on the grass. The bar across the bassinet/seat also clicks off to the side for easy removal of bub. I felt very secure taking my newborn out in this pram as she had a fully-flat bassinet she could sleep in (which could be detached when we were visiting friends as a portable bed), and the canopy can unzip to fold very far down giving a lot of protection. She fell asleep easily in it, and is also comfortable now we have changed to the seat chassis (which can also be laid flat if desired so baby can sleep-again, a simple button adjustment at the sides).

Minor issues but not dealbreakers: 1. With the bassinet attached, it is quite difficult to store much or access the basket at the base- I believe this has been somewhat improved since the last model but you still wouldn't fit much in there 2. The bassinet does take up a lot of space in the back of a hatchback. It can be collapsed, but is a bit more effort and I wouldn't routinely do it. However, once changed to the seat chassis it takes up a lot less space. 3. After collapsing the pram, there is no way I can find to "lock" the components in place so the base doesn't fold itself open again when you lift it up. This is easily rectified once you know to grab several of the bars at the same time when lifting.

Recommend this item with great experience – Fantastic pram if your starting a family, comfortable and safe for your child great suspension no need to pump wheels, Bassinet and seat covers attach to the one frame you won’t have any bulk pieces laying around only fabric. Show details

Style over function – I'll be honest i bought this pram because the pink bassinet mode was just too adorable and it was super popular based on reviews and i thought i couldn't go wrong. I really didn't know what i even needed in a good pram back then. Positives It is a perfect pram for a newborn. I loved it!! DD looked adorable and random people in the shopping… Read more

centre commented on how beautiful the pram was! The bassinet is easy to use and can be used off the pram base if travelling and washed if desired. With a newborn I was off work and had plenty of time so the small time it took to put the top and bottom together didn't bother me (but it does as a busy parent with toddler wanting to run in and out of places) . The transfer from bassinet to seat option is easy. The parent facing versus outward facing is easy to use and very nice. It reclines well. It steers well and the hand brake (different to most models) worked well for me. I could hang some things on it without risk of tipping. But i probably wouldn't buy again and now that she is older i find myself using the Baby Jogger we have as well a little more often because it is so much more convenient. (Somehow i ended up with 4 prams!)

Bugbears - It is a little frustrating to have to separate for folding when you are busy. Granted that is common to most big prams these days. (The Bee has an easy fold, i haven't used the Fox, but if convenient folding is important on your list then the baby jogger with single hand fold is best! ) . This is fine if you are going out for a while but if you just want to duck into the shops quickly it can be annoying.

-The basket is tiny and almost impossible to use!! It is impossible in bassinet mode and even in seat mode I have to try and jam the bag in and i find myself envious of people with the Uppababy vista or a redsbaby with their massive show off baskets! Pram makers need to know mums have stuff. Lots and lots of stuff! I totally underestimated the need for a big and fully functional basket in a pram and the basket is probably the main reason i wouldn't recommend.

-It is supposed to last till three but i really can't see how that is going to be possible. My DD is only one (only 30% for height) and is already almost near the top. I'll pull the head piece off soon but I doubt it will last till 3. The weight limit is a lot lower than alternatives too.

In short it is a super stylish pram that works particularly well for newborns but if i had my time over I'd get a different one. Style over function is the name of the game her. It is certainly exceptionally stylish but whether that is enough is your call.

Has something no one else has! – The pram isn't cheap, let's be honest here, but you do get what you pay for. I like that it comes with a bassinet and seat attachments and the build quality is very good. It is very easy to move and not too heavy. It does take up some room though in your car when using the bassinet. The up and down side of it are from the same part....the brakes.… Read more ·  1

This was actually a selling point for me. In all other prams, they have a foot brake. This one has a hand operated brake on the right side of the handle. It was a selling point and up side as in all other prams when holding the bar, it was impossible to see the foot brake without bending down to see it.

The down side to it. It is very tightly sprung. There is a release button and if you manage to press it in (although it takes some effort) it flicks back painfully on your hand. It is recommended you take the strain with your other hand and press the button to release it and move the lever back slowly. It is annoying that really i need to use two hands and it does seem that a simple engineering fix could solve this issue. Maybe turn the brake around, pull back to engage rather than push forward. Releasing the would go away from your hand rather than towards. Also, back off the tightness a bit. You can still lock the wheels without so much power.

Overall I would recommend but look for a sale. Accessories are also very expensive, for example, $50 for a cup holder! For a piece of plastic with no extra features, it should be closer to $5 if anything.

Could change a few things! – This pram is beautiful, especially considering you can change the colour of the canopy. My baby was comfortable in the bassinet, and has recently moved to the stroller. Besides the straps being a bit to high (they sit around her ears) she is quite comfortable in the stroller also. Only downfall, hard to use the underseat basket with the bassinet. Show details ·  1

Love this pram! – I have the Bugaboo Cameleon Classic and absolutely love this pram! My little one is still in the bassinet, which is so handy as they can sleep when you’re on the go. extendable.

Cons for this pram are that it is bigger so not one I’d recommend for air travel. You also need a decent sized car boot!

I’ve also purchased the bugaboo wool bassinet liner to make it softer as I personally thought the seat was a bit too firm.

Wonderful Pram – This pram is amazing! I am 6ft and the handle adjusts quite high, so it is a good fit for tall people. It is really easy to steer. Once you know how it works it is all smooth sailing. I purchased mine from baby bunting and the sales assistant did a fantastic job of showing me how it all works. The handle is also very smooth and feels nice to push. It is a fairly large pram but we have a large car so this isn't an issue for us.  Show reply

HATE IT!!! – Highly disappointed in my bugaboo Cameleon purchase!!! Bubs will not sleep in it cause her feet are raised up higher than her head in the lying down position, for the stroller attachment. It is the dumbest design and i would never recommend to anyone!! Really disappointed customer. The basket space underneath is hard to get to as well,

The best pram on the market – This pram is a dream to push even with unfavourable terrain. The suspension is so spongy it creates the most comfort for my daughter. The seat itself is so spacious for my daughter to grow into and she loves going in the pram. The best purchase I’ve ever made. The only negative I can think of with this product is the space it takes up when folded, however it still fits in our tiny corolla so isn’t that much of an issue.  Show reply
