3 Don R.  · Tea bag – Poorly constructed tea bag.Label comes away without the string. Wouldn't buy again. Flavour passable.
2 Luke K.  · Bushels tea bags – I can't agree with comments here more. The tag falling off is killing me. I'll change brand just because it's driving me nuts!
2 Triton  · Bad idea – Not able to detach one tag from the bags out of 20 so far, why do both ends of the string have to be glued, sack the person who had this great idea
1 Julie  · Bad tea bags – What has happened to my favorite tea bag? every single tag pulls off the bag!!! leaving a hole in the bag ..very dissapointing.
1 Andrew P.  · Messy – The string detaches causing a mess, will buy again, poor
5 Whiffy-no-more  · Refreshing, low tannin – My favourite teabags, an everyday light and refreshing tea. I prefer a low tannin tea and this one is perfect.

Recently purchased a packet of Bushells Blue Label 'Classic Black Tea, tea bags. Despite immersing the tea bag in boiling water for considerable time I found the tea weak and tasteless. Extremely disappointing Show details

What the hell Bushells! I could kinda get past the crappy labels but now the major supermarkets are no longer stocking the 100 packet. Shrinkflation and increased pricing? Whatever, just bring bag the 100 packet.

I regularly experience the tags breaking loose from the teabag string. As a result of this frustration, I have chosen to no longer purchase Bushells teabags and have purchase Lipton instead. Something's wrong with quality control on this product. Show details

Follow-up  · The alternative brand has a different way of attaching the tags ad opening up the tag is easier because the string goes though a slot in the tag. It is inconvenient when the tag breaks off because there's nothing to hold onto when brewing the tea. I believe there's a quality control problem, because only some packages had the problem. I'm happy with my change of brand.

Bit disappointed – Hi am an Bushells Extra Strong Tea lover, but the the tea bags string is falling off the bag when you go to have a cuppa. It has happened to 1 in 4 bags out of the packet. So when you go to jiggle the bag you can't as there is no string to get the full strength of the wonderful tea.

Bad Tags on Bushells Bags – I've been buying your Blue Label tea bags for years and although the tea is still good, I'm tired of tearing the NEW tea bags while trying to remove the tag from one end of the string and having to fish the bag out of the cup when the string at the other end detaches from the bag...EVERY TIME!! There are plenty of other tea bags on the market that… Read more

don't do this and I'll be trying some of the others (but not Lipton which is also owned by Unilever) when I shop next.

Disappointed – Your tea bags used to be really good. But now they are very bad. The glue that holds the tag to the bag ends up ripping the bag open so then they are useless. I don't know how you can sell such a bad product. Very disappointed customer. Show details

Disappointing – I have buying bushells tea bags for years, but now find they are of very very poor quality. The labels keep coming off the tea bag, extremely annoying and very disappointing. I will now have to find another tea where the labels don't come off.

Tea bag tags that stick fast to the bag! – Bushels tea bags have great favour but have tags that are stuck to the tea bag with a very strong sticker often puncturing the bag , please can there just be a cut on the tag for the string rather than this sticker! Show details

I have been buying Bushells teabags for years. My last bag of Bushells 100 tagged teabags has been a dreadful experience. Everytime you try to put the bag in the cup and the string overhangs, the string breaks off. I am nearly at the end of the box but I guarantee it has happened to 80% of the bags. Please take a look at this problem. Show details

Hello, I am a regular purchaser and user of your Bushells Blue Lable tea and just wanted to provide some feedback. With this last box which I purchased the tags come off as I am taking the tea bag out and even the string on some bags comes off before it even makes it to my mug. Maybe not enough adhesive or problem in your manufacturing process. It is very annoying. Thank you for your time. I see many others are having the same issues. Show details

Been using the Bushells Rounds for years because of the quality/taste they provide but the bags in the new batch fall apart too often leaving the tea particles in the cup. No doubt a cost saving measure but a sure way to lose customers

Thought I'd give bushells round teabags ago, not happy at all the bags spilt constantly. Sorry bushells but you need to lift your game on making better quality of bags. Show details

Round bag – Bushells has been popular in our household for over 35years and recently found out the round bags are very soft and breaks easily. Please fix your bag quality. Thanks Sonya Show details

Fix the crappy bag tags! – Why didn't you mob do a little testing before rolling out the glued tags. Either the tag comes off the string or the string comes off the bag. Real poor effort guys.

Horrible.. less reliable than 1ply TP – Can I give less than 1 star. Absolutely horrible. I loved bushels, to the point I would take my own supply with me when I visited others just incase they didn't have bushells but this is beyond a joke. My son with autism also loved his tea and now due to the useless way they are made now, he struggles too... bet you didn't factor that bushels, the elderly and the disabled now discriminated against due to inferior standards. Show details

Tags fall off all the time – I love Blue Label tea but the last year or so, the tag always comes off the tea bag as soon as you seperate it from the tea bag and then sometimes the top of the teabag breaks as a result. WHAT HAPPENED??? They used to be great now it’s cheap and nasty manufacturing that is spoiling the experience !! Show details

Not happy with change – I have used these tea bags for many years & why they changed the way you release the tag is unacceptable. The glue system does not work.

Pathetic string to bag glue – Glue is a "Cheap", Nasty and Pathetic way to attach string to the tea bag and the tag. Forever falling off or ripping the tea bag. The quality of the tea leaf has gone down hill. Stop being such a tight a**, improve the leaf quality and use what was a foolproof method (staples) to secure it together. Show details

New Teabags are Terrible – I would give no stars if I could. Purchased a box of Bushells Extra Strong tea bags yesterday and for every cup we have had since then the tag has just dissolved or fallen off and the string attachment at the actual bag has detached. If this is their new standard of quality I will not be buying these bad again. My parents bought Bushells… Read more

religiously and it’s a disgrace to know the manufacturing company are not taking notice of the otherwise loyal buyers.

Useless idea of gluing the string to the bag – string is detaching from the bag, also when this happens the bag splits at the top making an undrinkable cup of tea. all customers should avoid this product Show details

Fix the tag and string please – Tea is good, but no longer use as per other users - so tricking frustrating separating the tag from the bag... always leaves the string.... Show details

Tea, with extra glue – Whats with the glue that sticks the tag to the bag? I want tea without glue thanks. Plus, trying to lift the tag sometimes tears the bag....What numpty in a windowless room invented this ridiculous additive. And what was the reason for this need. Certainly hasn't tickled my cuppa.
