2 weeks no reply – I have waited over two weeks for an invoice for an order I put in, over 3k, finally got a message back after 3 attempts at contacting them, stating the director has gone for at least 12 months and suspended trading! No guarantee of service – As there is no phone number there is no one to contact should you have problem. Fraud or breach of privacy – Received an invoice from this company when I haven't purchased anything for years. Contacted via the website and then received a further threatening email. They have no phone number to contact them to resolve things. So they have either invoices me fraudulently or my personal details have been compromised as they have been hacked. Do not use!

Fantastic price for building & hardware supplies – Discovered this online store, bought subfloor vents for excellent price, so much cheaper than big hardware stores and excellent customer service. Would have delivered for free but I needed urgently so sent someone to pick up direct - highly recommend. All smooth as & I saved $200 on 21 vents

Great prices, excellent response times - wish I'd known you earlier! – Great prices, saved few hundred dollars; good product selection. I received a response to my enquiry in several hours and few hours later everything was ordered and paid for. Loved the option to pay by bank transfer (thus avoiding fees). The customer service is super responsive and very polite. Would recommend to everyone I know and don't know! The best bit: total cost lower than you'd expect!

this company was based, the admin left the chat immediately. Very suss and I will be surprised if my order arrives any time soon, let alone if it's damaged/ faulty - there is no chance for any customer service.

Complete hoax. I have taken a screen shot of the "chat" should I need to back up any submissions to Department of Fair Trading.

5 star pre sale service 0 star after sales service – Error on web interface resulted in payment error. After 24hrs there was no sign of transaction and no receipt so paid for product and was a couple of days later charged again as per original error payment. Nil response to any contact since order placed now waiting 6 days for response. Happy to communicate via email in place of phone but responses need to be timely. Product order and delivery from supplier was very efficient.

Most efficient purchase! – These people have a very efficient system as well as excellent pricing - even the delivery price (to Blackheath) was the best I could find! Strongly recommend.

Money Talks!!! – Got a quote from a local supplier and Buy Building Supplies. BBS 32% cheaper and pick up product from local supplier. Checked with local supplier again because I thought they must have made a mistake, but no. So obviously went with BBS. Thanks Buy Building Supplies for the great prices. Bondek order – The price and delivery of the Bondek was exceptional. Delivered to site and well within the time estimate given. Price beat all local suppliers by a considerable amount. Excellent concept, price, service – Though the system was a bit opaque to start with and the location was a bit challenging to find at first, it was worth it in the long run. The concept of being able to buy at wholesale prices was worth the persistence. Staff were very efficient and helpful. The help with loading was very much appreciated.

Roofing delivery - cheapest I could find – It was from reading reviews here that gave me confidence to order from BuyBuildingSupplies.com.au - when placing an order for $6000 worth of product you do get a bit nervous about dealing with an online company, but the price they offered was much better than anyone else and I am glad I went ahead. The goods arrived directly from Lysaght within two days of placing my order and the whole process made it very easy.

a national shortage of HYSpan and sent the bulk of the order with another product. Once I notified BBS that this had occurred Fred went into action to reify the problem. After several attempts to get the Hyspan from several different wholesale timber merchants an acceptable alternative was found. The replacement product was cheaper in price and once I gave BBS my Bank account details the money was transferred by the next day.

I was very grateful I had used BBS as the buying agent because as an individual the positive outcome I got would have been much harder to achieve.

The true worth of a company is how they react when transactions do not go according to plan and BBS certainly did well on this occasion.

I confirmed with the manufacturers of Hyspan that they were unable to supply the Hyspan due to a national shortage.

I was offered a full repayment of the monies I paid if I did not wish to proceed with the transaction.

Looking back, I now think that the "email communication" is actually better than phone as I have a written record of each query / transaction - much easier than trying to remember a telephone conversation.

Delivery & Goods – Delivery of goods ordered arrived as stipulated on the order and packaged appropriate for transport to a country location arriving in good condition.

Surprisingly good – At first I was a bit doubtful of the process, but I was pleasantly surprised by the end result and deliver they did. Communication was a bit clunky but only because it was a different format, once understood it worked well and responses were swift and effective. All up a very agreeable transaction, one which built trust and I look forward to more opportunities in the future.
