The recipe changes have rendered this chocolate to inedible. The last big block I bought was horrible beyond measure. I ate a little, spat it out rather than swallowing, and threw the rest of the block away. Cadbury chocolate used to be delicious, it used to be advertised as having “a glass and a half of full cream dairy milk in every 200 gram block”, Now it just tastes of chemical poisons. Ruined!!!
Dear Cadbury ,, your chocolate now taste's like $2 generic brand chocolate,, so why nonsense the public with the excuse of price hikes for your ingredients,, when you all did was buy cheaper ingredients and put the price up 40%. You GREEDY PIGS are not loyal to the Australian Public. Show details
One bite and it was too sickly and I didn't wont to eat it....and that should be the opperste for chocolate. There is not one little taste of chocolate.. Nothing, just tastes like artificial sugar... Gives headaches and makes you feel sick and I'm not exaggerating. There has to be something bad in it. I stopped buying from you years ago and would… Read more

Very Disappointing – I recently bought a cookie crumble dairy milk. It tasted awful.. kind of the worst taste. Then when I opened the whole packet, I found mold in the chocolate. First I checked the expiry date but the expiry date was 5 months later, then how did Cadbury get moldy, this disgusting thing happened to me. Show details

Good Adverts on TV – Many companies have adverts where the male is shown to be the buffoon and made to look silly by his female partner. Cadbury adverts show men in a good light who are respectful and caring which is very refreshing.....great adverts Show details

Let's cut corners & totally ruin an great brand to make more profits , that no-one is buying anymore .. brilliant. was no reason to ever play around with the recipe or try to alter the ingredients , whatsoever .. but excessive greed! . Either go back to the quality from the 1970"s - 80's or sell it to someone who will bring the quality back

I thought I might buy a plain block of cadbury because it would have less sugar than caramel. It seems that the chocolate recipe changes for the plain block. Why else would the sugar content exceed or match those filled with a sweet goo? Either way the plain milk chocolate is MORE than half sugar. 45% of 180g of chocolate is $8 full price. •Now… Read more
a kilo of sugar is a dollar or 2, meaning 180g is approx. $0.20 •Milk powder, $10/kg, $2/180g. •Cocoa is only approx. $25/kilo, meaning approx $5/180g. •Cacao butter can be bought for around $50/kilo, meaning approx. $10/180g.
Obviously there is a cost to make it but also big companies have access to buy things much cheaper than us. Let's add these 4 approx. costs and divide by 4 to keep it at 180g worth. Keep in mind an extra 20g is in the calculation, 20g which was taxed from the block before. $17.20÷4=$4.30.
What is the profit when we consider 20g was stolen and that this is going off local prices, not commercial prices? At LEAST half the block is sugar so we can say that we are paying $4 for 100g of sugar if we pay the full $8.
No flavour, taste burnt - Caramello use to be the best, sadly 2025 cabrary has forgotten how to produce good choc- just yuk !!! Never buy again - quality had gone down hill . Show details

Boo hoo !!!!!!!!!!!!!
This evening, while discussing how hypocritical, contradictory and fake the the world is, I took a bite into what I have trusted for years to be Cadury Old Gold. To my shock, I tasted a minty flavour subtly mixed into the flavour of my "dark chocolate".. I must admit, I LOVE chocolate and mint... BUT ON MY TERMS. Utterly baffled and disgusted in… Read more

Cadbury chocolate blocks are smaller and dearer and don't taste the same. A total rip off. I used to love the marvellous creations popping candy but there's no popping about the candy in the blocks now. I have bought several blocks from different stores at different times in case I had ended up with a bad production run. But, no. They all just… Read more

I used to eat one block of Cadbury's every week when the block was 250 grams. Now has shrunk to a very unsatisfying 180 grams and still increasing in price, so no more. The upside is my waistline is shrinking along with the block size. Show details

No longer chocolate , greed rather then great – The chocolate no longer tastes like chocolate; it has become nothing but pure sugar. I actively avoid buying it now. The high price for such poor-quality chocolate is not worth it. significantly, and it seems like price gouging is occurring. It's better to purchase higher-quality brands, where the price reflects the quality, unlike with Cadbury.
