Cadbury Hazelnut

Cadbury hazelnut milk chocolate has changed – Was our favourite but now is too sweet and very few hazelnuts. Very disappointing. Show details
They’ve lowered the quality – It’s too sweet and they’ve reduced the hazelnuts they need more cocoa and more nuts Show details
Too Sweet! – I buy the nut chocolate to make it a bit healthier. With this one they add even more sugar to it than the standard Cadbury Milk Chocolate. Contains 20% more sugar than the regular Cadbury block. Yuck. 47G Sugar per 100G, do the math people, that 47g of sugar per 100g, that means the block is mostly sugar, and you can taste it burns the back of my throat and makes me feel sick afterwards. Perfection – Love them hazelnuts great quality chocolate and hazelnuts best chocolate for a quick chocolate and nut fix so glad they brought back the full hazelnuts back taste so good love when on special Show details
Needs more hazelnuts – This is one of my favorite chocolates so I was very pleased with the whole hazelnuts in the bar again. However there are some pieces in the bar that are completely void of hazelnut altogether which is a little disappointing.
Whole hazelnuts are back. Yay – Like many other reviews from 2 years ago I had noticed that Cadbury was using hazel nut chips back then instead of whole hazel nuts. From memory the main global production of hazel nuts was almost wiped out back then because of an insect infestation so maybe that's why they used chips. I tried one this year and they're using whole hazelnuts again and I've been buying up big. So yummy. Great to have this product back to the original recipe. Show details
Hazelnuts. What Hazelnuts? – So disappointed. I used to love this chocolate with crunchy whole hazelnuts and it wasn't too sweet. I have been a Cadbury chocolate person for a long time but it could be time to say goodbye and move on. Over the years there has been a gradual decline in my favourite chocolate. Perhaps if enough people generate feedback they might go back to being the chocolate bars we all used to know and love. Show details
What happened to the hazel nuts – I used to love this soooooo much. Now it's overly sweet and the hazelnuts have gone. Have they become too expensive? Eating Trader Joe's instead now. So sad. Show details
Sickly sweet – This brand of chocolate was my favourite but now I find it very sickly sweet. Won't be getting this brand again, disappointed. Show details
Cadbury what have you done???? – This used to be my go to chocolate but now it is a poor version of what it used to be. Where have the crunchy hazelnuts gone? The chipped hazelnut pieces sprinkled throughout the chocolate is quite revolting and extremely disappointing. I’ll never buy Cadbury chocolate again. It’s not even worth a star rating. Show details
Not a fan of Cadburys Creamy Hazelnut – I thought I was buying an old favourite, didn't have my glasses on...wished I had. I was looking forward to the satisfying taste and crunch of hazelnuts. Instead I got a mouthful of what tasted like granulated sugar...yuk too sweet. I could barely taste the hazelnuts and the chocolate wasn't nice. Why did you ruin a good bar for the sake of change? I won't buy this again, I'll move on to something new that says what it really is inside. Show details
Totally dislike this. Sickly sweet. My family hates this. Why fix something that ain't broke? Whole hazelnut better – Sickly sweet No taste of hazelnut No picking up the hazelnut that falls out and we all grab for... No buying lots of bars anymore.... Dont change what people love. Change isnt always for the better!!! Show details
55gm bar is divine! – Absolutely love the 55gm bar with hazelnut pieces. The block with whole nuts comes second. Creamy hazelnut crunch is rather blah and I won't buy it again. 55gm bar is my choice Show details

Hazelnuts? what hazelnuts? – Have now started buying my hazelnut chocolate from my local Aldi store as the Cadbury one has the most pathetic little chips of hazelnuts in it. It has really gone downhill and when i complained to them they didn't even have the courtesy to respond!!! very poor product and poor customer service.
My new old favourite – I haven't bought this variety for years but when I couldn't find my favourite nut choccies in the supermarket I reached out for the Cadbury Hazelnut block for $3.50. Absolutely delicious. Full of chunky hazelnuts and the chocolate is smooth and creamy and not too sweet. This is now my preferred chocolate treat.
Could live on this – Anything chocolate and hazelnuts are a winner for me. This is my favourite Cadbury block! My idea of the best chocolate platter would be Cadbury Hazelnut and some Loackers chocolate biscuits.
Absolute rubbish – This is by far the worst milk chocolate available on the market don't waste your time or money on this rubbish product
quality is down to hell ! – used to be good but now has very excessive sugar, low coco and maybe 1% hazelnut !
Such a disappointment – Tfied again my 40 year old favourite, and knew why I buy a great chocolate not just sugar, low cocoa and so few hazelnuts!
Getting smaller and more expensive ai the same time – You should produce 100gm Chocolate Bars, just like all Swiss Chocolates. You should also reduce the Price then. Don't forget, your chocolate is nowhere near as good as Swiss Chocolate. I think that Cadbury Chocolate is totally overrated.
It used to be good....but then – In the beginning, Cadbury was owned by Cadbury, and the Chocolate Hazelnut block had large whole hazelnuts, and you knew that it was good. Chocolate was made with real milk and not just sugar, and the hazelnuts were as big as the day they were pulled from the tree... Then came the Kraft times, and all that knew good from not, were aprehensive,… Read more
and scared, and Cadbury had no further say in how Cadbury was made. And the recipes were Kraftenised. And the Cadbury Hazelnut block no longer had whole hazelnuts, but rather a crushed mish mash, that screamed insult to its former glory.
Complaints to Kraftbury fell on the death ears, and this former champion of Cadbury Hazelnut Chocolate, now shuns it in the isle - and looks elsewhere for the whole hazelnut crunch, that Cadbury once was... The chocolate itself still contains full cream mllk as the primary ingredient No longer contains whole hazelnuts...
OK – I dont buy these often because they are not my favourite type of nutty chocolate. They are yummy enough to eat and have just the right amount of crunch to them. I only buy these for the recipe, otherwise the taste doesnt appeal too much to me. I buy these whenever I make a really tasty and rich slice which require these as part of the recipe. They… Read more
are great to eat, and because these are so rich, I can only eat a square or two. This is a unique taste, with the crunch of hazelnut, so some may not like it.
