I used to love milk tray, I've just had three from a Christmas present box. What's the brown wax covering? Surely not chocolate. What a cheap tasting waxy substance... Yuk! Absolutel sh!te. Plastic looking and chemically aftertaste. Doesn't taste like it used to. Less choclately. Had a few then threw the rest away. If i could do negative stars i would.

The new Milk Tray chocolates were so disappointing – Horrible. Non of our favourites at all. New centres were awful. So disappointing. I have put the box and uneaten chocolates into the bin.

Not the Milk Tray i remembered – Great box , terrible chocolates. i bought a box for the first time in years. No coffee cream, no strawberry cream or orange chocolates. A variation on caramel and hazelnut chocolate. Not a nice tasting chocolate and won’t be buying another box. Show details

Thé old taste of Cadbury milk tray is long gone – This product no longer tastes like chocolate for quite some time. Very oil and sugar based , difficult to consume without retching. I now bin them if I get them as a gift. It is such a shame as they were such a great brand. Show details

Chemical taste what have they done? – Cadbury Milk Tray never use to be horrible. My wife opened them and said this taste funny so I tried it and we both said at the same time it's a chemical taste! Probably changed something to make it cheaper in our current climate. All about the £££ rather than pleasing the consumer. One star too many – I can’t believe how disgusting these chocolates were! Such a disappointment! A few were spat down the sink, a few were bitten in half and ended with dry retching. Every chocolate in this box has the same flavour. That flavour being chemical – I tried a few and they all have a bad chemical taste to them and I had to spit them out. They aren't just not nice they are inedible. I hope I can return them to Woolworths to get my money back otherwise I will have to contact Cadbury customer service. Show details

checked the sell by date to see if they were out of date, nope all good there. So disappointed, I used to love cadbury chocolate, done the factory tour etc. Whoever cadbury pay for testing, is getting paid under false pretences. Some inedible gunk!! How could Cadbury ask money for this! I'm sworn off all Cadbury products after this. I don't have any faith in their products now. No more Cadbury anything! Not consumable and totally unpleasant. and very concerning. I think I should have compensation for the horrid experience! What's happened to Milk Tray? – I had a box a few weeks ago and they had a chemically after taste, noone else noticed but it was so strong. I thought It was just me because my husband and kids didn't notice. My mum has just been gifted a box after an operation and mentioned she couldn't eat them because they had a weird after taste. Completely different box, bought at a different time from a different place.
