Canon EOS 350D

Excellent – This is a great value DSLR camera,. It is very well constructed and has extensive features. Perfect for the 'serious amateur'. Highly recommended. I bought the EOS 350 after using a friend's EOS300. For a 'serious amateur' photographer like me, this camera is perfect. The two lenses supplied are a great combo. The macro facility works extremely well, giving clear, sharp detail. Fast and accurate auto focus. Extensive features. I used a film based Canon EOS before this, so it was a logical purchase as I now use the lenses from that camera as well. It has a solid construction and it is light for travel. Fast burst mode. The battery is powerful with good charging life. Truthfully, nothing!
Excellent – This is my first digital SLR and has met my expectations. Canon is synonymous with cameras, so you know that lenses, flashes, etc. are going to be plentiful and can be purchased from Canon or some third party companies. Searches can determine what lenses you want to buy after evaluating your needs, bank account, and expectations. This camera is does very well in low light and even photos at ISO 800 are not terribly grainy. You probably will want to add an external flash for any serious flash photography. Focusing is fast and accurate. Adjustments are plentiful for full auto for full manual photography. Take a class or buy some books on photography and this camera will meet the needs of the serious amateur very well. Compact, fast, versatile. Small screen.
Awsome DSL to Start Using as a Beginer – I bought my EOS 350D 6 years ago now and felt no real need to upgrade it at this stage. I upgraded to this camera after using a Sony 717 for a number of years. I was looking to upgrade to a SLR as I take a lot of motor sport shots. The though of getting a number of shots of the cars as opposed to getting one crack each lap with the old Sony. Straight out of the box the 350D was easy to use and dump pictures to my laptop. The battery lasted for a long time between charges.
I have taken so many photo's using this camera it's not funny. I've had some blown up to 20x30inch and all look truly amazing on the wall. I'm an absolute rank amateur when it comes to photography but with the EOS 350D I look good.
If I was in the market for another DSL and could afford it I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Canon. Very easy to use, twin lens kit came with it Nothing that I've come across yet
Excellent – will be sure to get this one how easy for the new photo on the road easy to down load to laptop and send emails to family and friends of your journey capture your travel memories on this easy to use camera easy to use can down load straight to laptop while away send high quality pictures to family and friends nice look
Excellent – A fabulous and versatile camera producing excellent results on full auto for happy snaps on all occasions, whilst giving full flexibility and versatility for the more technical and professional elements of photography. Highly recommended Light and easy to hold, fsat shots that make candid shots much easier to capture and the combination of simplicity of use with a range of more complex features and options that make it ideal for a student photographer thats looking for a camera they will not 'outgrow' as their skill and knowledge increases. Perhaps the more experienced professional may have points to mention here - or maybe not...I personally have been extremely happy and can't think of any.
