Two visits for one job 2 invoices – I had a mains leak, I called capital plumbing, promptly attended and continued where I started digging. They repaired a piece of pipe. $559. Leaking in the same area next morning. 1916 litres gone before they fixed it properly. 20 cm from where the pipe was replaced was the leak. No apologies but a second invoice for $290. Rip off – My son called Capital Plumbing on a Saturday morning as the sewer pipe was overflowing. ring back on Monday. The bill was emailed on the Monday and was $544.50. In hindsight I should have flown back to the Gold Coast and did the job myself, it is not rocket science.

deliberately rip off clients however aren't pulled into line by the trade managers/owners.

- Very high staff turnover for such a small company. Not a joke... Very high turnover.

- Office staff that are hired are young inexperienced and aren't provided the correct and on going training to perform their duties to the managers satisfaction. I guess hiring younger staff is cheaper... More money in the owners pocket.

- Tradesman are not allowed to contact the office via phone, only an app called hangouts on their iPad. There messages tend to be missed and/or ignored.

- When staff plead for change it falls upon deaf ears.

- Quite a miserable place to work. Min pay.

If anyone is interested in applying for a place within Capital, honestly I wouldn't recommend it. I still remain in contact and have reached out to past employees both office staff and tradesman and it's the same story I hear and can relate to. Capital is a horrible place for staff, but it provides a good service to customers...as you would expect.

Excellent! – Have used these plumbers several times and they are always excellent. I have no need to use anyone else. They arrive on time, the plumbers are friendly and their charges are reasonable. Very, very happy with them.

Very impressive – Was having trouble with the on-demand gas hot water system. Capital were here the following day, at the time they said they would be. The plumber (I'm sorry I don't recall his name) was very polite, considerate and thorough. Had the issue fixed very quickly and explained things once he was done. Thanks so much.

Replace bathroom basin – Dave was prompt and did an excellent job. We are very happy.

Malfunctioning tap replaced – This is our 2nd booking with Capital Plumbing (different issues). Our kitchen tap was malfunctioning, with water leaking behind and tripping our electricity. I really appreciate the issue was taken seriously and someone sent out as soon as possible. Dewald identified the issue, provided good advice on options, and returned to install the new tap. We were very happy with the service, cost, and quick turnaround.

Quality and Service – Nathan arrived early, did a quality job at a fair price. Can’t ask for more in a tradesman

Water leak – Plumber was curtesy and thorough. Checked everything and cleaned up after himself. 10/10 service.

Great result – This was a difficult job. I switched to Capital after getting nowhere with another prominent company. Am very happy with the result from Capital. Some small lack of transparency when booking the job.

Exceptional – Jay from capital plumbing was exceptional, he came within the hour which was awesome and didn't leave until he was 100% sure the blockage was fixed! Would recommend to others.

Wonderful Company – Capital are great to deal with. Would recommend them to all. They have been out to my property numerous times and completed each job in a reasonable time frame with little to no affect on family commitments. They go above and beyond to work with you in regards to repair times. The customer service staff and plumbers are just as awesome as each other. 100% would use and recommend these guys!
