Should have checked the review before booking them. Was quoted a price, and agreed on a date. The company sub-contracted out to essentially 2 guys and a truck, came with nothing to protect my wooden floor from their shoes, trolly or the heavy furnitures edges. we had everything packed and basically it was just to pick up the boxes and heavy… Read more
furnitures then load into the truck, these guys are master at time wasting to stretch out the hours they want to charge. 3/4 through even try to tell me that they cannot fit anything more and needed a second trip. this was 3 hours into them starting, and barely 1/2 the truck filled. They of course fitted everything in, at the other end it was into a shipping container and they try t take the sweet time. I just got them to unload and sent them away. They then charged me an extra “call-out” hour. Was so tired and frustrated, I just paid. If there was negative stars i would be giving it.
Strongly encourage you to not use these removalists. It took them from 8:30am to 6:30pm to move a 2 bedroom apartment. They seemed cheap at first but because they took so long, it was an absolute rip-off. They also charged extra to "make sure they got it done that night" which I know see was a scam. They also broke a piece of furniture. When I… Read more
have tried contacting them to make an insurance claim, they no longer respond to my emails or phone calls.
- +1
Horrible "business" that I am pretty sure is a scam. They will find a way to charge over double of what they quoted you, and never send a receipt. That's how they get away with overcharging you. So I'm pretty sure they are doing the dodgy to the tax man too. [Name Removed] is an awful human. He will contract the job out to people who will break your things. You will never get reimbursed, for any damages. He will just ignore you.

Great experience – We had a really good experience with Sam and his team from Capital Removal. Moving is super stressful but Capital Removal were good communications, moved us quickly and carefully. I recommend and would use again.
Great service – We needed to move our household items due to conducting significant renovations at our home. We have a 4 bedroom house but with lots of narrow stairways. The Removalists were very professional, friendly, polite and accommodating. We would definitely use them again.
A no fuss move with very polite staff – I used Capital Removals for my move on Sunday in Canberra. The access for the move was very tight but the removalists did the job with a smile. The conditions outside were not favourable either with heavy rain but again the 2 removalists did it all with a smile and completed the job in quick timing. Thank you Capital Removals.
Negative reviews
I wouldn't recommend these guys at all. Contracted the job out to guys that damaged my furniture, transported my boxes on the side and left mud over my fabric couch and mattress. As someone who cares for their things, I regret using this service
Do not use this business. Surprise costs at the end! THIEVES – DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS BUSINESS. Any review more than one star has to be family or friends. These people are thieves! The depot fee was not included in the quote! So I was caught out at the end of the move. I wouldn't have chosen this company if I knew they were going to be this pricey. Also the movers damaged a wheel of one of my pieces of… Read more
furniture. I was not provided with a receipt on request either. [Name Removed] the owner seems nice at the beginning to get your business, but then is very rude when I asked for a receipt or questioned the extra charge.
Comedy removal – Well, where do I begin with Capital Removal? Let's start with their punctuality, or should I say lack thereof. We booked a time for our big move, eagerly waiting with packed boxes and excitement, only to be stood up like a high schooler on prom night. And to add insult to injury, when we tried to reach them, it was like shouting into the void. It… Read more
was like playing hide and seek with a ghost!
But wait, the comedy doesn't end there. After leaving us hanging, they had the audacity to suggest rescheduling for the next day. Oh, the nerve! I mean, sure, let's just throw all our plans out the window and pretend like tomorrow is just a casual "oopsie-daisy."
Needless to say, we politely declined their generous offer. I mean, who needs a moving company when you've got a bunch of friends and a case of beer, am I right? Capital Removal, you've managed to turn our moving day into a comedy of errors. Bravo, but no encore, please!

The most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. In any industry. Period – The worst customer service I have ever experience. I had booked my move 4 weeks in advance & had confirmation in writing for an 8am move. 8:30 rolls around and I try to call. Rings five times then says can’t be connected. I email and am advised that they will follow up with the Logistics Manager, to which I asked if someone could call me with an… Read more
ETA. They did not update me and the phone number continues not to connect. When I email for an update they advise that the truck is experiencing mechanical issues. At this point no one from this company has reached out to me to advise of the problem, they have responded only to emails and ignored my requests to call me. They advised that worst case scenario is that they would complete the job at 7am the following day & asked me to advise if this is ok. I advised that it was not and that I needed the move to occur on the scheduled date. No response. I send ANOTHER follow up email asking for a manager to call me ASAP. I had to frantically call other companies to get a same day move organised. THANK GOD for CBD Movers. I was literally ghosted by a company I was going to pay to complete a service. Total disregard for the customer’s time & exceptionally poor communication. Not worth the hassle and stress. Book another company!
Read the reviews people – Postponed the original 8 am booking on 15 minutes notice. Rescheduled for 12 midday. Showed up at 4pm. My son and I helped with a lot of the moving, especially unloading as the daylight was running out. Demanded payment on the spot. When I requested an invoice, they called their boss who told them to refuse to unload the remainder of our goods unless we paid in full on the spot. Pretty sure that this is illegal.
Do Not Use – Capital Removal was booked for our relocation on 1st December 2023 at 9am. They never showed up. They never answered numerous phone calls. They never rang us to let us know or weren't planning on showing up. They never returned emails. One week later, still haven't heard from them. Used Dr Moves instead who came to help us despite being booked out. Never use Capital Removal.
Worst Removal Service in Canberra – They were meant to arrive at 9am on Saturday, gave me excuses until 1:30pm when they finally arrived. They were not gentle or careful with any furniture, dented walls and damaged antiques. They stank, were barely understandable, and went to “get a drink from the servo” and disappeared with all my furniture for an hour between the moves of… Read more
addresses. They stood around half the time, doing absolutely nothing but extending the time so they could charge me more money. Absolutely appalling service, and then they charged me $1,200 at the end of it, as the manager had hidden fees in what they had originally quoted me and hadn’t adequately explained it in the email they originally quoted me for the services cost. The worst and most expensive services and wasn’t at all worth it. Avoid them as Capital Removals just contracts out to whatever person is around with a truck. Awful and unpleasant and enraging all at once.

Worst movers in Canberra – If I could give them zero stars, I would. We booked 3 weeks in advance to move our 2 bedroom apartment to 10 mins away, confirmed our booking for 8am on Monday via email and phone. I called the website phone number to enquire about our booking and to see why our 8am booking wasn’t honoured. I was told that I had only called through to the office and she didn’t know what I wanted her to do about it.
Absolute trash customer service, and even worse company. We’ve had to hire another company to do our move. We’ve heard nothing further from Capital Removals since they didn’t show up. Would never use them or recommend them.
Beware of Capital Removals – I rang a Local Newcastle removals company, on a 1300 number, which was somehow answered by Capital Removal in Canberra, (unknown to me at the time) I explained I need 8 to 10 items moved to 2 very local addresses. 2 days prior and requested to change the time I had booked , from 1pm to 9.30am, to fit in another job. Again I had no problem. On the day in question Wednesday 15 February, they arrived 5 minutes late. 9.35am, with take away coffee containers. In a very large truck?? I did question this. I was happy the job was done very well, friendly workmen Just under the 2 hours they requested cash payment for 3 hours, ($623,70) I refused as it was 2 hours booked and we had not fully even used the 2 hours at that time,(1 hour 55 Minutes) and they now wanted $189 an hour, plus GST $207.90 total. No invoice or receipt etc I tired to contact the company, driver, stated he didn't know the company name or contact details ??? It was his cousin? I tried to contact the company I thought I had booked, and this is when it came to light it was not the same company. We eventually got onto an older female, very aggressive, and nasty, wanted the 3 hours payment, at $189, plus gst, as it was the big truck, and it is not the time booked it's from the depo to the depo. none of this had been disclosed previously She lied that there was not $159 an hour, eventually admitting that that was the price for the small truck, plus gst, but they had used the big truck to go straight onto the other job. We eventually paid $450.65, (2.5hours) But warn anymore prior to using this company we very careful
Trading as West Coast Removalists in Perth. Appalling company – I moved part of a 3x2 to a house in the same suburb in Perth. It took the guys 8 hours, 3 trips, and cost $1850 (inc a 1 hour call out fee) which had to be paid via bank transfer on the day. They finished at 9.30pm. I had an experienced removalist and a 16 year old do the move. To their credit, they were fantastic. Respectful and hard working.… Read more
The company and organisation was quite the opposite.
The removalists advised me that the truck they had planned to send was doing a country run, and so had picked this truck up in Fremantle from a backpackers accommodation that morning. The truck was adorned with an alcohol slogan, and the removalists used my personal tools to remove a shelf and large whiteboard from inside the truck, which they then left on my property. They had no dolleys on board and also used my own. The removalists themselves were excellent – hard workers, respectful and diligent, I provided dinner to the older removalist and several beers when the job was done; the 16 year old declined to eat anything, but drank the coke cans I provided; despite the 8 hour job. I have no gripe with them. They looked after my furniture beautifully.
The company itself was unprofessional, rude and threatening. I was rung twice on Friday prior to the move to confirm the truck would be there at 8am. Why twice, I am not sure. The lady who rang couldn’t tell me how I would need to pay or whether the removalists would have Eftpos facilities on hand. The removalist himself rang Friday night as he had no information on the job except that it was a 3 x 2 move. I had already detailed the information of the job to the lady who had rang twice. Clearly it wasn’t passed on; and the removalist advised I was the second job of the day and they would be there around lunchtime and wasn’t sure why I had been told I was expecting them at 8am.
For payment, I was shown a text message with bank details on it at 9.30pm at night after moving house. I transferred funds but made an error with a number and the money bounced back several days later. I emailed the company asking them to clarify why I got the truck I did and received a reply demanding payment from someone we shall call "B". I requested my email was addressed to which I received a one line answer and was told if the money wasn't received by 9am it would go to debt collection and cost a further $400.
Avoid this company. Many other reviews share similar experiences.
Very stressful and unprofessional – Our first interaction with this company was pretty positive “B” as she’s known was very helpful in organisation a relatively complex move (2 x 3 bedroom houses one belonging to my wife and I and the other belonging to my mother-in-law, one of which would need to go into storage for a few days). We were told our removal guys would arrive at 2pm… Read more
on Saturday. On Saturday mid-morning we received a call from “B” informing us that “her guys” were “cooked” from an earlier move but could do 2pm on Sunday. We were accommodating and agreed.
Around 8pm on Saturday night we received another call from “B” explaining that they can no longer do 2pm but could do 8am instead. Again we agreed.
8am Sunday morning rolls around and no one has shown up. At about 815 we receive a call from “[Name Removed]” who tells us one of “his guys” hasn’t shown up so he can no longer do our move. We explain that our settlement is the following day and we need to be out. I ask him to drive the truck to our location so I can help him move. He states that he’s trying to contact another guy and will get back to me.
We try to call “B” but she’s uncontactable. After half a dozen phone calls to her we receive a text message explaining she can’t speak to us on the phone because she’s “camping”.
At this point we’re furiously looking to see if we can find another mover or a truck to start moving ourselves.
About 10am we hear back from “[Name Removed]” confirming he’s now on his way with another guy.
They arrive around 1045am and begin the process (very slowly). At this point my wife and I need to leave so that we could put our infancy son down for his nap at our other house (to be moved later in the week). We leave around 11am and after dropping me and my son off my wife heads back to the property arriving at around 12pm. At this point she informs me that they still haven’t put anything onto the truck.
After packing up the house (took them about an hour). They state they’re done an explain that they’re going to grab lunch before heading to the storage facility. My wife gives the house a vacuum and a mop and beats them to the facility (roughly an hour later).
They then unload the truck into the storage unit and finish around 3pm.
At this point they demand on the spot payment from my wife for their time from 1030 - 3pm. Keep in mind they did not arrive until well after 1030.
My wife is alone inside a storage uni with these two men. She explains that “B” had agreed to allow her to pay after moving the second house a few days later. They don’t believe her and start to become in her words “aggressive”.
She asks them if they can provide an invoice or a receipt which they explain they cannot do. My wife refuses to pay and they call their “big boss” who eventually instructs “[Name Removed]” and his coworker to go home. But there’s about half an hour here where my wife felt like she couldn’t leave.
About 430pm we receive a call from “B” who demands payment. We ask her to explain why we’re paying for the lunch break “[Name Removed]” & co took between the house and the storage unit. She simply accuses us of lying. We express dissatisfaction with having to wait more than 2 and a half hours for “[Name Removed]” to arrive and she doesn’t care.
We have paid the bill and cancelled the 2nd part of our move with this company.
I’m not going to tell you what to do but it seems many have had similar experiences with this business. I appreciate that things happen but the lack of initiative to present solutions to simple problems is pretty alarming. Additionally, the behaviour of “[Name Removed]” at the storage unit demanding payment is borderline predatory (in my view). Finally, after payment we have not received an invoice or a receipt.
Very unprofessional and disorganised. I do not recommend using their service, I’m confident a monkey would do a better job than these guys.
Horrible experience – Took over 12 hours to move 30mins drive away. 3 bedroom townhouse, with 1 bedroom empty and one only holding a desk. Usual story removalists showed up late, truck to small to drag out the move as they are being paid by the hour, though assured me it would all fit in one load. From one house to the next they showed up at the new house with a random… Read more
woman who carried in one draw at a time buffet and then basically just walked around my house and it took them 1.3 hours to drive 25 mins. Their truck broke down in my driveway one the return trip to pick up the remaining items of which there were many, by this point it was late so they said they would return the following day, which would all be free as it was their stuff up. Five hours later on the second day and with a new driver and a 10 year who took multiple dumps in my toilet. And I’m getting abused called a C*nt and a B!tch for refusing to pay for 12 hours when I haven’t even received an invoice. Clearly the stand stand over tactics used with others. Threatened to repossess my furniture, call the police, send debt collectors etc etc I refused on pay on the spot without an invoice. He called the ‘boss’ and told me I had to pay. I told him to get off my premises or I would call the police, and given I picked up my phone he left after 20 mins of abuse. I did in fact call the police who attended my home. Needless to say it do not stop there, debt collectors letters came, I made a reasonable offer, they refused, I made the same reasonable offer and they accepted as they would have had to take me to ACAT to get any money otherwise.
The boss [Name Removed] who hides behind the alias [Name Removed] is the worst of them all, hires unqualified staff that have no idea what they are doing and clearly do not have clear police records as he notes. He rips them off as well which is why they go to such lengths to make you pay before the leave. Ripping off customers by dragging out the move and only quoting by is part of the business model. He was not only rude and unprofessional, he was abusive and he threatened me. He contracted my workplace and sent me professional photos of myself and told me he would ‘see me soon’.
Illegal, unprofessional. Highly distressing. Do not use – Much like the other reviews, absolutely criminal and awful experience: Our initial removalist cancelled 4.30pm the day before so contacted these guys. 2 bed apartment with ONLY the bedrooms, lounge/dining/hallway furniture (no bathrooms, no kitchen) all furniture emptied, bare and ready to go. helping at 34 weeks pregnant, took them 45 mins to drive 13 mins between locations (what were they doing?), couldn’t fit in 1 truck, left our furniture unattended in the foyer without telling us with doors wide open for anyone to steal when they left for first trip!! Inappropriate jovial behaviour when they thought we weren’t around. No tools for disassembling furniture (we said we had beds, no further questions from during correspondence). One sat on our lounge at the end of the night waiting for his mate without permission, while we argued and were FORCED to pay for 9 hours and couldn’t speak to ‘the boss’ because he was asleep and told we can ask for a refund in the morning (yeah, right). He was not going to leave our house without being paid despite saying I was highly dissatisfied with no negotiation or resolution. No receipt provided. Employee said he’s never met the boss/doesn’t know his surname. Will be lodging with ACCC. Highly distressing experience. DO NOT USE.
Don’t use them – This company was unreliable and no-showed four times. We’re told, 9, 2, 6 and 7:15. They never showed up and were uncontactable and uncommunicative. Created enormous stress and left us with legal problems as our house was unable to settle on time.
An Incredibly Stressful Day - Avoid This Company – Booked in for 9am yesterday, they arrived after 11am. During the time spent getting the quote and talking to them over the phone, I mentioned 3 times that I would need them to do some packing. They had no packing materials with them. A comedy of errors, very disappointing experience – We were quoted the cost for a same day (Friday) move from Canberra to Merimubla. We didn't need any packing as we packed all our items into boxes ourselves. They said they would arrive at 9am. On the day of the move the first of two trucks didn't arrive until 11.20. no-one contacted us until after 10 to tell us they were running late. We tried calling the 1300 number and it went through to an automatic voice message that said "leave a 10 second message and it will be converted to a text" What kind of reputable business doesn't even have voicemail identifying them?? The workers did quite a good job with the pack up, and nothing was damaged. I was concerned that they were lifting some quite heavy items (fridge, couch, washing machine etc) into the trucks without a lift. I asked if same day removal was still possible, given we were 2.5 hours behind schedule. I was assured that they would do every they could to get to Merimbula and unpack, as they didn't want to work on a Saturday. They left our house in Canberra at 2pm saying that they would be filling up with fuel and having something to eat before heading straight to the coast. At 7.30pm they rang to say they were "on the way". My husband and I spent the next 2 hours googling reviews and wondering what we'd got ourselves into. At 10pm, one truck arrived; we asked if the 2nd truck was still on the way, and they said it had broken down in Cooma. They then went to open the truck, only to discover that the key to the padlock was (you guessed it) in the other truck. After some heated discussion, we were assured that the other truck would arrive the following day so all our stuff could be unpacked, and they left the locked truck in our driveway overnight while we slept on a mattress on the floor. The following day (a Saturday), the removalists came back in the afternoon, still without a key and used a bolt cutter to open the truck and unpack half our stuff. On Sunday, the second truck arrived with damage to one of the side windows and they unpacked the remainder of our stuff without incident. The whole experience was extremely stressful and I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Poor attitude – Didnt get to the move. Over the phone we were told we were looking at about $6000 due to Canberra to Newcastle move. Requested a quote. looked as though she had just gotten out of bed. It was 2pm. Given her appearance, I asked her did she work for CAPITAL, as she walked around my house. Told no, but she helps out quoter on his truck sometimes. I rang CAPITAL'S office and discussed the unprofessionalism of their employee bringing his girlfriend. The admin person I spoke to couldnt see anything wrong with it, so I asked for manager's name. He refused to give it to me, saying manager would ring me back. No response. I doubt if my complaint was ever passed on to management. After reading the many poor reviews of this company on Product Review, I am so glad we dodged this bullet. In the end got a much better quote and saved heaps as well as peace of mind.

the move, movers did call to apologise they'd be late because they'd only learnt about the job the night before and needed to get packing materials. I know moving is a tough job but at times it felt like the movers were dragging their feet. Was told on average a 3 bedroom move takes 5 hours . It ended up taking 7.5 hours. I was told a large truck would be supplied but a small truck was used requiring two loads. We were fairly organised with what we needed moved...primarily large furniture. The team did pack our kitchen which took about 3 hours...it was a small kitchen (total of 8 boxes). We also did a lot of our own moving....all our clothes, electronics and small bits and pieces. The movers themselves were very careful with our furniture and nice enough guys so happy with that but overall would not recommend this company.
Unprofessional, unpleasant experience – Booked for packing and removal, one day each, of a 3-bedroom house to a location that was about a 25 minute drive away. for packing, received a phone call in the morning to say the removalist would arrive in about an hour. About an hour after the first removalist arrived, a second person arrived to assist. The packing was done in an unprofessional manner, e.g. using teeth to tear the packing tape, underpacking heavy boxes then stacking them on top of each other, which resulted in sagging and potential damage to contents. Boxes were taped up in a slipshod manner. Unnecessary packing was done, e.g. individually wrapping up plastic container lids.
On the second day, when the actual move was done, the truck was too small to move the contents in one trip. So a second trip was done to move a few items which took up little room in the truck. The interior of the truck looked old, blankets were old and piling, little care was taken in the lifting and packing of items into the truck. Removalists didn't seem adept at navigating furniture around door frames. Furniture was damaged and dented, a mirror was broken, marks were left on floors and walls. Payment was expected without invoice, had to insist that an invoice was provided. Overall, a bad experience and would not use again.
Worst removalist I've ever used – Turned up an hour late with no explanation or apology. Wouldn't answer the phone which made it more stressful, waiting and wondering. had to move my piano, were going to get it later with another truck, rang them and stopped them as I found out they were just going back with the same truck and were going to dead lift it on its back to get it on the truck - basically no care or responsibility. At end of move got a much higher price from the driver than what I was quoted, rang the office multiple times got another price, not as high as the drivers price, but still more than quoted. Overall a very stressful experience with a number of damaged items. Office very hard to contact and don't care.
Every piece of furniture was damaged – Capital removers turned up late and smelling like weed. They damaged every single piece of furniture they moved. A pack of crooks – worst moving experience ever – I sincerely hope that anybody reading this takes note. Please steer well clear of this dodgy “company”. It’s simply not worth the trouble. put that in the category of “first world problems”. After about an hour, I suddenly heard a commotion outside. One of the movers had gotten into an argument with my neighbour over their use of the fire doors. Rather than be professional, this worker starts effing and blinding and acting like a first-rate goose then… silence. Assuming he had walked off to cool down, I waited an hour before going to look for him. I discovered, to my dismay, that the truck was gone with half my stuff inside it. No phone call, no communication to let us know what happened… nothing. A frantic phone call to “the boss” revealed that the confrontation had turned physical (still not sure what that means) and the worker was required to leave as per company policy. In short, we were told that a second crew was on the way to finish the job. They took over 3 hours to arrive but to be fair, they did a good job. We did, however, learn that angry boy had to leave because he was on parole and couldn’t afford any mishaps with the police (isn’t it just wonderful to have guys on parole handling one’s personal effects?) So the rest of the move went relatively smoothly. We paid in full for the job and that was that (or so we thought). The next morning, we realised that they still had they keys to our apartment. They had needed them to get in and out of the building but forgot to return them to us at the end of the job. I rang the “boss” and was informed that our keys would be returned to us later that day. They never showed up but promised to come the next day. The next day, another no-show followed by an SMS from “the boss” offering his most sincere apologies. So this goes on for a few days… me calling, them promising to drop the keys off, etc. After 3 days of this, we decided to try a different approach so my wife called. “The boss” hung up on her mid-conversation and then refused to return our calls or messages. The next step? Get the police involved. When I told them so, they didn’t bat an eyelid and I soon found out why when I visited the local police station. I was informed that, because I had willingly given them the keys, it was a civil matter and not a criminal one. All this meant is that the police had no power to intervene and demand that they return our own keys to us. As it stands, they have now been ignoring my calls and texts for 10 days, even though I have offered to pick up said keys. If you want to be mucked around and swindled then, by all means, give this mob a call. They’ll happily sort you out I’m sure.
Worst removal experience to date – Moved from Denman Prospect to Karabar. 3 hours late, severely undersized truck meaning 7 trips in a Ute to finish move. Multiple items damaged including custom artwork. Bad customer service afterwards, submitted complaint, rude response and then nothing. Still no resolution. Absolutely disgusted. Will be lodging with ACCC.
Would not recommend – 3 bedroom house with full garage and lots of outdoor furniture. They arrived 2 hours late in a tiny truck. Progress seemed very slow and in all it took 9 hours and 2 trips for the job to not be completed. They also backed the truck up into 2 trees at the new house and broke a light fitting in our stairwell. I was also asked to pay immediately at the completion of the job, something that had not been communicated at all prior
Go Slow – We had 10 Heavy/bulky items to move from Braddon to Belconnen, all furniture emptied and prepared for move. List included a 2 seat recliner, medium fridge, front loader washing machine, small Chinese medicine cabinet, queen mattress, low entertainment unit, outdoor bench, Ikea 4 x 4 cube, Ikea island bench and a blanket box. The move was for a… Read more
short distance from the city to Belconnen, about a 15 min drive. We thought maybe 2.5 max 3 hours in total, as the only difficult item was the 2 seat electric recliner, which ended up being able to be disassembled and was transported in 3 pieces. It didn't start well - a very large and high subcontracted (Sydney based) truck arrived 20 mins late, this was followed by a delayed start after that with parking and lift access problems, followed by multiple cigarette breaks, refusal to use the allocated lift (padded for removals use and key locked for the removalists use only), no wrapping of furniture in the apartment, 50 minutes of waiting for the truck to arrive in Belconnen (a 15 minute drive) (oh sorry we had lunch on the way!) We were billed for 2.5 hours (from 0920 arrival time, (booked for 0900) didn't actually start work until 1000) just to load the truck, and 2 hours to unload it. Neither are true indicators of actual time spent working. The team of 2 were nice enough, but seemed to be on slow time and indecisive on what to take to the truck next, despite clear direction on what was to be removed to the truck. In our opinion, it wouldn't have taken my wife and I that long if we had hired our own truck - and we are old and unfit. Recommendation: Get a fixed price quote. If necessary, get them to come in and do a physical inspection before you agree on a price. We were invoiced 4.5 hours, not happy, definitely not recommended.
What a great experience!! – We shopped around and chose Capital Removal because the owner on the phone was very polite and accommodating. Some other companies had overseas call centres which is a deterrent. We booked in to move our 5 bedroom house from Curtin to Farrer. On the day of the move we had packed a lot less than we anticipated which made the job for the… Read more
removalists. I rang the owner a bit stressed to tell him of this and straight away he reassured me this wasn't an issue and that his team on the ground would do it all. We were sent a large truck and 3 men who did everything without even one issue. Moving house is never fun, but the guys at Capital Removal made the experience perfect.
