Captured Designs

I would strongly caution anyone considering Captured Designs/Alex Lelov as a home builder. My experience has been incredibly disappointing. Warranty and workmanship do not exist. Since moving in, I’ve had multiple serious issues that remain unresolved despite being under warranty. These include: External cracking to rendered walls, Bathroom floor tiles cracking and popping off, Water ingress in several areas of the home, with water running down internal walls and soaking the carpet, causing mould and other issues. All three bathroom vanities sinking and not adequately secured to the walls.

Despite numerous attempts to have these defects repaired, Captured Designs has repeatedly failed to take proper action. I eventually had to contact the NSW Building Commission to get any form of response, but even after months, most issues are still outstanding.

The lack of accountability, extremely slow communication, and poor workmanship have made this an exhausting process. At this stage, it appears that legal action may be the only way to get the defects rectified.

If you’re looking for a builder who stands by their work and warranty obligations, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere
