TERRIBLE-DO NOT USE. GAVE ME THE DETAILS FOR THE INCORRECT MODEL CAR AND MARKET PRICING FOR THE WRONG CAR. Absolutely useless. The vin comes up correct on every other platform.
DOGS. I paid with credit card. Said failed payment so i payed witha different card then all of a sudden i have 2 of the same report and been charged close to $80. Tried emailing them and of course they wont respond. absolute scammers
Very poor report. Only provided basic Gov search that could have been provided by $2 - $9.90 search providers, so fraction of their inflated price. Valuation report detailing previous purchase values had the latest sale being 3.5 years ago and that being their data to indicate value in current market ....... useless information. Absolute waste of money.

Very disappointing – Paying $36.5 just to get PPSR report. Did not deliver what they promised. Useless.

Rip off – A complete waste of time. Googled to find the contact details of a person who side swiped my parked car and drove off. A good samaritan took a photo of the number plate. I was directed to this site. $28 for a search which provided ZERO info about the owner. What a rip-off
Not good!!! – Not good, too much hassle and unnecessary questions on checkout, collecting too much of your personal data, getting reports from another service providers, besides too expensive!!!
Worst on-line experience, liars – The site allows you to enter the Vin # then tells you it is available. You then pay and the report says the car details don't exist. Ok, so you write to them requesting a credit. No problem they say. After contacting them again I was told it was refunded. It wasn't and still hasn't. They are criminals.
Excellent customer service after my stuff-up! – As I was concerned about the validity of the odometer reading on a car we were intending to purchase, and noticed on the CarHistory website that an "odometer check" was one of the 5 items included in their Report, and in fact was the only thing I was interested in, I ordered an online Report for $36.95. Unfortunately, when the Report arrived via… Read more
a business called Equifax, the "odometer check" item was missing due to records being unavailable .
I omitted to read all the Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) and this one in particular:
"You acknowledge that we may not have the complete history of the vehicle on which you order a report. Accordingly, we will not be liable for the refund of any fee paid if the report in question does not provide a full history of the vehicle."
So as I had paid for a Report that was of no use to me, I emailed Car History's Contact Centre, explained all of the above, and despite the T&Cs negating any requirement for them to refund me, they did - in full!
Many thanks to Leslie at the Contact Centre, that's what customer service is all about .
Complete waste of money – This is a complete waste of money just get the PPRS. The only fields of the report I payed for were filled with data from the PPRS. There was no purchase or registration history (it sources this from websites - presumably car sales) For the most part, the report was blank field after blank field.
Time these thieves be held accountable – Paid $36.95 for full history report . This report I relied on to continue my court case against a dodgy car salesperson the information that was promised and not delivered by these crooks lost me my car . Time to sort these dogs out . They stay in business stealing from unwitting people time to track them find them and let justice be served
history check on vehicle – useless can't even give odometer history absolute waste of time and money would not recommend find some other way go to rms or a gov link
Worthless – For $2.00 I could have got the same info from PPRS. They fill it with info about engine sizes equivalent sales etc, just to make it look like you are buying something useful.

It's a Rip-off – You can buy the same info directly from the GOV website for $2 You don't seem to get any of the extra info they promise I chose it by mistake, I had used a quick revs check before, also for $9.90 and received much more information Avoid these guys at all cost!!
do not trust their reports re: odometer readings – this site is a complete scam, they do a $2 ppsr.gov.au search and add a bunch of un-sunstantiated meaningless data to it. I am a car dealer and have seen several vehicles with random figures quoted in the odometer history. When called carhistory (no easy exercise! ) they refuse to change the online data, despite providing evidence via log books / service records. Also refused to refund me !!
CarHistory.com.au - Don't waste your money – I am in Victoria and wasted $36.95 on this service. There was nothing in this report that wasn't on the free Vic Roads ppsr search. There was no odometer readings from all the industry sources they are meant to have. Just a few pretty graphs on out of date Sales data that was more than 9 years old.
As they others say. Complete waste of money. No odometer readings. Reporting to Fair trading – No odometer readings. Value information extremely wrong. False advertising. Promise more than they can deliver. Save your money and do a $2 ppsr search.
Con Artists – Just got scammed by these guys. Report contains no information that you can't find for free elsewhere. The whole thing was basically blank. No odometer readings which is the thing that I needed. These guys are con artists don't give them your money!!! Glad I paid with PayPal...
This mob are a disgrace – Report had incorrect car details (said it was a petrol but it was a diesel, had to do my own CHECKS) . It had odometer readings missing for 4 years. Keep away from this mob
Avoid this and avoid the car you're buying – No odometer reading shown as majority have stated. Save your money and walk away from the car you're buying if you've gone this far into checking the history of the vehicle's odometer.
False Information reported without Verifying – I am selling my vehicle, and the purchaser got a report through CarHistory with completely false Odometer readings. They expect me to provide 5 years of service history before they will rectify, despite the fact I have given them documents that prove the information they have published is false. It has cost me the sale of my vehicle, and makes me look dishonest. They have no accountability at all, and their actions are unconscionable
This is a scam, no information in the report, blank pages and a waste of money – I cant believe this site hasn't been taken down. Report has no vehicle details, no registration details and claims because it cant find financial commitments on the asset that there are none! meanwhile if you read the agreement terms it basically divorces itself of this being evident in any case. Total scam and a regulator should force its shut down

save your money.go to ppsr.gov site – paid the $36 for report.later found could get same information from government site for $2.To be fair car history had required information just $34 more expensive.
Equifax should be in behind bars for this – You get nothing for your money. It is just a scam. None of the reports is available. Equifax should be charged with fraud.
Absolute scam!!!!! – We are trying to sell our car and a potential buyer purchased a report. The information in the report is absolute rubbish and the made up kms in an absolute disgrace. This is a disgusting business and should be shut down immediately for scamming people and fabricating information which is impacting on a sale that is above board.
Paid for this just to get the KM history but go nothing useful – I stupidly assumed they would have states/territory data on KM from every time rego is transferred, or vehicle had inspections for blueslip / rwc etc but actually seems the only KM information they have is if someone else before me/you was stupid enough to buy the report and enter the KM. The KM information is a scam and they should be force to… Read more
clearly state their sources of the KM information. I believe this is an misleading advertising issue. Suggest everyone makes a complaint to ACCC.
Don't waste your money – Just get a PPSR which is a government site cost $2, the accuracy of a history report is hit and miss as some details are entered by whoever purchases report, example you can check any vehicle and enter any mileage reading you want this will be stored regardless if it is correct, just look for a vehicle with genuine log book service history or use a reliable independent inspector to check vehicle complete waste of money with these reports
Do not trust what they advertise-Total waste of money – I feel so stupid for not checking the reviews before purchasing the best pack car history report. No rego information, no odometer information, nothing relevant that you can not get in less than 10 dollars. Total rip off- 36$ If you were not able to find the information yourself on other portals, they do not have it as well but will charge you full.
6 weeks for refund for no report and still waiting – I tried to do a car history report with car history equifax and came back with no answers, was promised refund withing 1 week, then next day, then 21 business days, then next day, then 3 days, then back to 21 business days, then not sure.. After 15 or more phone calls and more emails 6 weeks later I am still waiting for my refund..So angry
Big rip off! – Wanted to buy a full car report with history and odometer etc. Payed $25(only option) just to get the same details I've got from the $2 ppsr search(https://www.ppsr.gov.au/how-quick-motor-vehicle-search). Even 1 star is to much!
I should`ve read reviews before purchase – Absolute waste of money and just received the same information as the PPSR. Just get the PPSR for $2.00 They should be called GetNoHistory.com.au I wonder how much they pay Google to have their AD at Top??
