held my money for a month now and only after 5 phone calls and multiple emails and chargeback through my bank am I receiving a form for a refund. They also sent through a dodgy contract with no inclusion of my deposit and a "Dealer Fee" of $800 added which was not mentioned at all pre purchase. Without clearly informing me, Cars4Us then placed an encumbrance on my vehicle, preventing me from selling it elsewhere. I only discovered this later. I was then told I must pay $1,000 to have it removed, the cost of a 10-minute short inspection.
No cooling-off period. No clear disclosure. No transparency.
This is not an accident — it appears to be a deliberate business model designed to pressure people into paying or proceeding under duress.
If you value your rights, do not sign anything on a phone and think very carefully before engaging with this company.
The company is currently being sold to Toyota for 120 million, a reward for such predatory practice. What a world we live in.

I rang him for 2 days to organise the above, I ended up ringing cars 4 us & someone else let me know that they had received payment & when I could collect my new car. The car was $45000.00 & I paid AN extra $1400 for INTEGRASHIELD & UV protection tint to all windows. The day I picked it up it was just as DIRTY inside & out as it was the first day I seen it. The Car detail that "[Name Removed]" promised didn't happen so I don't believe that they applied the INTEGRASHIELD or the UV tint on a car with dirty windows. The lady that sells you the INTEGRASHIELD "[Name Removed]" also writes up the warranty for it. As we got a lift back to the dealership in the truck of one of the warranty workers, as our Audi was driven back by another worker, a flat bed truck rocked up and another car delivered an hour before ours was turning up! So a 2 for one broken car night!
I specifically asked them at that point that the car go to an AUDI dealership to get fixed. And, I added that once there, it get a thorough check through to make sure nothing else was wrong. This WAS NOT done! And I have Audi's service report paperwork to prove this.
Instead a new transmission computer was ordered, we were then told by cars4us that this is a 4 to 8 week wait!
This was actually the SECOND problem the car had had. During the test drive I noticed a creak in the steering at low speeds, and prior to delivery I asked for that to be fixed. It was NOT fixed by Audi and no further checks were made to look for more issues. Something that if it had been done would have revealed the future issues. This front end fix was NOT done by Audi and NO PAPERWORK verifying that work has been provided. I am betting they slapped heavy grease on the issue and it will rear its' head in the future.
My wife got her back, and the next day an engine warning light came on when she was driving to one of her clients businesses. So the car goes back to cars4us..At this point it seems they should change their name to cars4them as certainly we had not had the car much at this point.
This time it was a lambda sensor that was at fault. I AGAIN asked for a FULL check of the car and the paperwork from Audi to prove it, that did not happen. Audi fixed it and they said the car was OK to go. But I again insisted that Audi do a full check. I even called the Audi dealership and talked with their service manager, [Name Removed], asking him if cars4us had requested these full checks previously. He said that they HAD NOT! So much for caring about your customers, just ignore everything and hope to palm off a LEMON on your customers. Well done..
So I then call cars4us, talk to a manager there for warranty [Name Removed]. I specifically ask that this check be done and that Audi had told me that this would mean them doing a full service. [Name Removed] finally asks for that to be done.
Immediately after the service Audi found MORE issues. Leaking coolant, bad thermostat and some other stuff. So far the total bill to cars4us was thousands of dollars.
Now, my wife was offered to get out of the deal right at the start, but she needed a reliable car, which is what we thought we were getting. But she left her options to cancel open anyway as these issues and fixes were made.
Which brings us to today where she has had enough, the stress and pain of this was too much. So she asked to cancel the deal since the car is a total LEMON. Nope, cars4us refused. So off to QCAT we go. Absolutely NO empathy for her, stonewalling conversation by [Name Removed]. Zero people skills. All pretty bad attributes for a company that claims to be customer-centric.
A dealership of this size should be more aware of how they look to the public. I am in the media industry and won't be limiting what I say about them to just this review.
Bottom line, avoid these scammers like the plague. Looking at all the 1 star reviews makes me wonder if they are buying their 5 star ones!?? Seems to be more than possible that they are.
A few words about their 5 year extended warranty. Do not fall for this! You will find that what you are expecting to be covered, will NOT be covered.
Do NOT believe them when they say they did a comprehensive 140 point safety check. We saw NO evidence of this.
Roadside assistance for 3 months does not start until after 3 days! Too bad if you break down immediately, which you will.

dont bother when pushed and said I wanted to speak to someone I got told 30mins was enough. This should of been enough for me to pull out, the fees the charge almost mean they get cars for nothing. Their receptions then spammed me with a total of 8 phone calls in less then 10mins when I pointed out it was inappropriate they essentially shrugged it off and said I system just redial if calls go to voicemail, not sure how you feel thats inappropriate. made with many broken promises of calling back with an update. When it finally got done they were pushy about picking up the car asap, as if I and family (to drive me) don't work and despite their complete disregard and incompetence before that. I made an appointment to collect the car with the person I had been dealing with...got there 10mins early, checked in and proceeded to wait until 45mins after the appointment time with no one showing any interest and people walking around ignoring us. It was only when we were about to leave that someone actually spoke to us, went and checked in again with reception who rang the person I had been dealing with, who apparently wasn't who I needed to see. I don't know why I couldn't be told who to ask for when I made the appointment to collect the car, since it wasn't who I made the appointment with on the phone and dealing with over weeks gone. Waited another half hour and finally got the car which wasn't even given to me with a tank of fuel (only a quarter of a tank) and already needing servicing after less than a week. Absolutely ridiculous and I hope people avoid them like the plague. Their customer service is appalling and the whole process was like trying to climb a mountain with a team of horses pulling in the opposite direction. I don't know how else to describe it.

it was simple. We were honest about all aspects of our car, making sure we pointed out a small crack in the mirror surround, and other minor issues, so the price offered on inspection closely matched the initial quote, it was $500 less due to the mirror surround.
Money arrived in the bank a few days after agreement, the only "issue" really was we had to chase them on why the car had not been collected ~10 days later, but I'm pleased to say it has now been.
Could not have been easier really... Offer was made, an inspection was done, firm offer made and accepted and within a couple of weeks of that all paid up and done.
Selling privately online only brought us "car flippers" who were trying to do dodgy deals.
The only one "scary" part is saying goodbye to the car, the towing company that picks it up could have had a printed out agreement and that would have put my mind at rest that it hadn't just been 'stolen' . I called through just to make sure that was the right towing company/truck.

Rude and false advertising – They advertise a price online for cars +govt fees but then they also add a “dealer fee” on top, this is not included or mentioned online and is false advertising. The dealer was also rude and felt like they just care about a KPI and as much as they can get from you. Asked about other options, just told me it was the best one. Don’t bother visiting.

Rude experience – Was trying to sell my car and looking for the best price. The gentleman that I spoke to (Alex) was very rude and didn’t understand my situation in the slightest. He was just trying to buy my car as cheaply as possible and didn’t understand why I wanted to keep looking. Don’t go with this company. I received higher quotes from different companies.
Avoid selling your car to this lot – Would not use again or recommend. They agree on a price over the phone after seeing the photos. They then send a "valuer" who plays Mr Otis with you talking to someone in Queensland. Then the actual sale process with the admin staff was a nightmare.
