Phone network locked
I bought a Samsung s6 brand new in box unopened,Australian lot, as stated in the add on eBay, in September 2017 it has worked perfectly for over 1 year and now it has come up with network locked, T mobile which is American not Australian have been told cannot fix this.Anyone else had this issue?
Do not buy off them!
ACCC has found them guilty of selling refurbished phones as new. they did this to me 3 times. repeatedly asked for a reimbursement but they refused.
here is the email they sent me.
You purchased a Apple Iphone 6 64GB - Space Grey from Catchdeal on 18/02/2017 05:20:57 PM. The product you purchased was a refurbished model and not a new product. This fact was not clearly disclosed to you on the website at the time that you purchased it.
Pursuant to a court-enforceable undertaking accepted by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), we are offering redress to consumers who may have been adversely affected by this misrepresentation.
If you understood that this was a refurbished product at the time you purchased it or are otherwise happy with your product and would like to keep it, you can simply disregard this email.
If, however, you believed that you were buying a brand new phone and feel that you have been misled into purchasing a refurbished product by our website, you can return the product to us for a full refund of.
they never gave me a refund either!

item arrived late and was dead on arrival.. Too much trouble.. spent time to fix it... wont use them again
I bought a samsung note 4, 3ipads and 1 samsung table spending just over $1500. These were presents for my kids for xmas. I paid express post and didn't receive my items when said. A month went past and still didn't receive anything and very little communication from the seller. I ended up receive the goods 2 and a half months later and they were all fakes! Replicas of the real thing and none even lasted more then a week. Outraged.
Stay away -bought a new ‘iPhone’ & VanHeusen shirts- both fakes
Took my ‘iPhone’ into Apple with battery issues & they advised it wasn’t a real iPhone. It’s made of used spares & fake parts.
Shirt material is so thin that the white shirts are virtually transparent. Waste of money....

Purchased a phone from them, advertised as new. Has been replaced 4 times under warranty and even then only after i had to explain Australian Consumer law. Initially refused telling me replacements weren't covered by warranty. Not what the law says. Service is shocking. Still trying to get a refund. They have resorted to ignoring my emails, and refusing to allow me to speak with a manager. Would never consider buying anything from them again.
Really bad customer service/faulty phones
I bought a Samsung s6. It had terrible reception. They replaced it with another that also had poor reception. The internal screen then broke. I returned it via post and despite proof of receipt through Aus Post, they are saying they haven't received it. No refund. No replacement. Not happy. Awful company with awful phones.

I have really bad experience in Catch Deal, they sell only rubbish products and no trust peoples, only lies.
My phone send back tree times and all ways send me other rubbish phone, looks cheaper but its more expensive products in the world.
The products as all old and doesn't work.

I have purchased 3 products from this company thinking I am saving a lot of money.
All 3 products are faulty. They must sell refurbished goods.
I bought a Samsung S5 and it just stopped working last year 13 months in and they told me it was out of warranty. Luckily I looked up my consumer rights but they still tell me I have to pay them the repair fee which I advised them no and I know my rights. They then changed tactic and adviced me they will send me a new phone. The phone I received was NOT a new phone. When I point this out to them they then acknowledge the replacement phone is not new and ask me to send it back.
I have asked for a refund but have not received it.
My daughter is without a phone all this time and we rely on it for her safety.
This had started since 6th June 2018 and still has not resolved yet.
I am speaking to the ACCC Daily Telegraph this Friday. Everyone should know not to buy anything from this company. All products are defects.
Dodgy reconditioned lemons out of Samsung warranty
I ordered a Samsung S7 last year. I am now need the 3rd phone replaced. Imagine my surprise when I contacted Samsung direct as these guys take a month to get you a 'new' one. Imagine my surprise when Samsung told me that the 3rd new phone I received in Feb this year actually rang out of warranty in March.
They are clearly selling defective phones.

CCTV camera Faulty
I would not recommend buying anything from this company. After numerous of emails to return the faulty CCTV camera for either a replacement or refund, I am still left with a camera that doesn't work, out of pocket and like a broken record they keep trying to advise me of obvious methods of how to fix the camera myself, when I have exhausted all avenues of hard resets myself. Getting no where. Never buy from them again.
Quick replacement service
Super satisfied with Catchdeal. The first phone, demo phone of Iphone 7 128gb that i bought was defective, so I emailed customer service and they requested me to send it back to us. I just need to wait around 1 week and i received the replacement lens yesterday, and it works great now. I have bought a lot of things from Catchdeal in the past, and I have always been totally satisfied with the prices and the quick delivery of everything. This is the very first time I ever had to deal with customer service, and I felt they were fantastic. A+ all the way. A schonky deal with catchdeal/ jumpingtech
I bought an iphone 6 via Internet from Catchdeal, paid in full with my Master Card in December 2017 the phone was to be a Christmas gift to my Partner. The order stated that the phone would be delivered between 5 and 12 days because it was to come from their home base in the USA. phone from Australia Post Taree. A day later I received a note that a parcel had arrived at Old Bar P.O. for me to pick up. I went to see what it was. It turned out to be a parcel from catchdeal, I waited three weeks without the phone to arrive. From then on I had second thoughts about Catchdeal. I made inquiries over internet, could not phone them because they did not supply a phone contact, so I checked out any information on the internet. it didn't look good, Lots of complaints, so I decided to cancel the order and asked for a refund. since I had cancelled the deal with them I bought a phone instead at the P.O. in Taree. I informed catchdeal about the situation. However a day after I had cancelled the deal I got a note in my letter box that there was a parcel at the Old Bar P.O. to pick up I went to see what it was and surely enough it was from Catchdeal delivered to the wrong address. Since I had already cancelled the deal with Catchdeal, I instructed the Post Office to send the parcel back to sender. I did not get any info that a refund was forthcoming. I checked with my bank, they closed my account to stop anyone using my Master Card and supplied a new one. The company is know as TCF GLOBAL LTD with other misleading Names. This scam has still not been rectified.
Bought a so called Apple IPad, boxed and sealed. Had it less than 12months. It turned out to be counterfeit in every way. I only saved $50 on buying from a proper retail shop. After many emails and not being able to ring. I have heard nothing.
65 emails + 3 faulty phones before receiving partial refund
These guys are Definitely shonky. Have just read the posts below - my story is similar.
First Samsung stopped working after 5 months. Found out from a Tech the innards weren't Samsung at all. Numerous emails resulted in replacement phone which didn't work either. More emails and another faulty phone lands in my lap. $70 wasted in postage, let alone my time. Finally received refund - excluding my postage costs which they'd agreed to cover. But they deducted their own postage costs from refund.
Don't buy from these people. Talk with your feet and buy elsewhere.
