Very satisfied – I have a CHANGHONG CHRF28 and it has always maintained a good temperature in all compartments. It has always been quiet and never loud. It has always been easy to clean no matter how unclean it got through my slackness. I am looking at buying a larger one due to requiring more room to store food.  Show details

Would never recommend this brand – its a good looking fridge is the only nice thing I have to say The temperature needs to be turned up to capacity for any coolness There's constant water leaking I've changed it 3 times The 3rd was passable until the 12mth warranty ran out I'm looking for a new fridge

6 months in, great fridge – Had it for 6 months and no problems yet. Good design, nice solid shelving and interior. As others have said, it feels risky buying a "made in China" fridge. But I wanted the form factor of this fridge, so took the risk. It's paid off so far because this fridge is good quality and well built. It's quiet and efficient.

I like how there's no exposed elements at the back. In fact, the back of the fridge does not heat up. The heat seems to dissipate from the sides of the fridge. This suits me because there is less room behind the fridge between the wall than the sides in my kitchen.

As another reviewer said, the temperature control when set in the middle is not cold enough. But that's fine, simply turn the dial further to the left, to about "10 o'clock". I have carefully adjusted the temperature so it remains just under 4 degrees C. I did this with a fridge thermometer that you put in a glass of water and leave there over a few days to allow for adjustments. A tip for anyone wanting to measure the temp in your fridge - don't just stick a thermometer in the fridge measuring the air temp - the air temp is not what you want to know. You want to know the temperature of liquids, which are more reliable to measure and won't fluctuate when you open the door.

Reversible door is great, I needed to reverse the door, and while it did take time to swap the door hinge, it worked in the end, but it does take some careful effort. It doesn't just pop-off, you need to unscrew a few screws and pay attention to where it aligns.

The freezer is good.

This fridge might deserve 5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 because I have only had it 6 months. The can dispenser in the door should have been removable, because most people don't store cans of soft drink in their fridge all the time. Not a big deal though, and as mentioned the shelf in the door is surprisingly deep and stores a lot of stuff.

I looked at Samsung, LG and many others before getting the ChangHong, and I'm happy I did.

Problems with defrosting – Bought this fridge freezer and had problems from day one, there's water always leaking on the floor. We don't know where it's coming from, and we've tried to remedy the situation ourselves. We think the little black defrost nozzle that should drip into the chamber was blocked so we will see. Will definatley not be purchasing another of these. Oh buy the way you have to have the temp up full.

Good fridge – Purchased this fridge a few months ago from a local appliance store. I was very happy with what I purchased. This unknown brand Changhong sounds funny but works just as good as any other fridge I have used. Stainless steel look is nice and internal layout is basic but does the job for me. It's quiet too! Works fine, low cost.

Works well, good price nice design – Works fine, have not had any temperature issues. I realise that many Chinese/Korean fridges aren't designed for our warmer temperatures so they need to have a 'colder' set temperature. But I have had no issues with it, food lasts for a long time. Can holder is useful too, not that I use it a lot. Works great and affordable price.

Big surprise from a cheap brand – Works really well, not to loud either. I wanted an upside down fridge in stainless steel to suit my appliances and purchased this from SA Appliance Warehouse for $699. It has a 2 year warranty and 5 year compressor warranty which is good. Works well and no complaints. Only issue is the holder for cans inside the door isn't very useful. Overall very pleased. Works well Can holder is a little wasteful for space.

Impressed – Got one from SA Appliance warehouse for $699 and they had a $100 rebate on it which brings it down to $599. Works well, very happy and nice finish. Backed by a 5 year motor warranty as well. Works fine - cools down well and great design

I not overly happy with it – I have issues with the temp as booklet says it should be placed on medium but i found it needs to be higher just to get it to 4 degrees the can dispenser is a waste of space however i love the design
