disappointing customer service – Issues with trying to find out why my email service is still working when it was supposed to have been retired . Spent 2 days over a month ago changing my email. Spoke to a quite aggressive and rude customer service rep today. Had used picknowl for years , then chariot when they bought picknowl out and didn't ever have a problem. I would expect… Read more

better service and no excuses that they are busy. I work in a service where no matter how busy, we try to listen to our clients and not get angry and talk over them. I had listened to what she was saying and expressed my opinion that my credit card and email address should have been removed as stated. Luckily the picknowl email I was paying for is nearly at the end of it's annual fee, so it doesn't matter about the refund promised. Apparently there has been an extension, with no email as to that (apparently they don't need to send those emails, just ones that the service may drop out even before the original 30 day grace), so "you can still use it". I don't need to use it and have never had a customer service rep be so rude. Had to terminate the call and am still no wiser as to what has happened to my credit card on file.

ombudsman ,ombudsman, ombudsman – After 15 years, email doesn't work. Keeps saying password changed. Contact owner of account. I am the owner of account. It all flows from TPG. They are the same. The Aussie owners took the money and ran when sold out. Chariot will disappear and TPG will come in at 3rd till they go broke from customers abandoning them. What rotten ********. Chariot unable to provide support – We have been with Chariot for over 6 years now and have found in the last 2 years they have changed their Domain registrar service from Melbourne I.T and now to TPP, without informing their customers of the changes this means when trying to manage your own domain. The main issue is their support team. They lack the knowledge to properly assist… Read more

anyone and send you on a wild goose chase, which is what i found when trying their email support. On top of that when you try and call to speak o someone the 'automated phone system' keeps insisting you are calling out of available hours and does not transfer your calls. It may help if their contact page showed their available times in Australian standard rather then American as they use CST. Instead they should be using ACST if that's their intention.

Bad service, poor support, will be leaving their hosing solution soon as I can get through to someone!

Chariot? more like oxen wagon – I have been with chariot since they were speed link many many years started with dial up. When i transferred to adsl2+ off net it was great, over the years it has become slower and slower until december 2012 when constant trop outs and slow speed caused me to suspect my modem. I bought a brand new modem for $350 and found that the modem is not at… Read more

fault.. Still experiencing less than 1mb/s speed on average with adsl off net. The technical staff were patient and helpful and still are but my speeds are still slow. I will be changing providers based on information from neighbours who are getting great speed through other providers if this issue is not solved soon. Chariot is more like a broken wagon. The technical staff are helpful and knowledgeable . No relief from slow speeds after several enquiries to tech services.

Not happy Jan! – Constant drop-outs with off-net ADSL2+ prices high. Cut-off my service, because the Credit card expired. Tried to renew on-line and was unable to change the account information. Takes too long to contact them. So once I finally spoke to someone to renew the cc, they said you have to ring during normal business hours to talk with accounts.. Have… Read more

been with them for more than 12 years. Obviously don't care about loyality as I told them I had been with them for 12years, why didn't someone try to contact me!. Also told me that there were not part of TPG. So I am more confused as to who they are- especially since the pricing goes straight to the TPG site. Now looking at Iprimus for Naked ASL2. As I don't use the Telstra line. Service guys were good and patient. Constant dropouts especially with VOIP services - not sure what the problem was. ISP or Modem.

OK – Attempting to speak to someone about the changes in the T&C's was very difficult, as their call centre (at least for account billing related enquiries) appears to have been moved offshore and both consultants I spoke with were very hard to understand. Their expansion plans backfired (too much, too soon perhaps?) and left them being majority owned… Read more

by TPG, so they are no longer even an SA based company. Their dial-up service worked well and I never had need to contact them for technical issues with their systems. I also liked the fact that they offered pre-paid hours that did not expire, as my usage was somewhat intermittent. In November 2007, Chariot changed their T&C's so that the non-expiring pre-paid hours that I had bought became expiring hours with the stroke of a pen. Fortunately I only had around 15 hours left with them, though I had in the past purchased 100 hour blocks, so I did not lose too much. If I had paid them for 100 hours shortly before they changed the T&C's then I would have been extremely annoyed.
