Worse company I’ve ever dealt with. Condescending tone in emails, very rude Products are VERY poor quality. Cheap fabric, uneven stitching, sizing incorrect. Would be too embarrassed to even sell second hand, put straight into bin.

review of other customer complaints, this lack of communication and failure to resolve orders appears to be a pattern. I have now filed disputes with my payment provider and am reporting this business to the ACCC, the applicable State Fair Trading authority, and the Better Business Bureau. I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

photos, extremely poor and shoddy stitching and shape cut outs and evenness, the inside lining being smaller than the outside fabric making the dresses look utterly ridiculous as they don't fit right. Bunches at the sides of silk dresses that don't smooth out and look odd. Silk with what looks like stamp marks on them? I don't know. And I'm still waiting on the other dresses I haven't even received yet. Why did I go on a buying spree before reading these reviews?? Literally every single item is messed up. And she is so expensive! For "meticulously created items" they're so shoddy. And are they REALLY the fabrics they advertise as? I can tell tbe difference between polyester and silk and I can tell you now I did not get silk. Only with 2 garments did I receive a response, both suspiciously similar in reply that "they've had no other complaints re these items and no returns, so customers are happy with them" Almost word for word same reply for 2 different complaints. Seems nobody EVER complains to them, just the internet apparently. And since then I've had no other emails responded to. [Name Removed] is incredibly rude. And condescending. And I dont appreciate the whole "return at your cost and WE'LL decide if they're faulty" No, they're faulty, full stop. And I can't get a refund for faulty items anyway, only store credit. But yet I've been waiting over 7 months for a garment that was estimated to ship out in March. Its now JUNE! And absolutely no response to my queries as to what's going on? If you can't supply the items already sold in a timely manner then you should not be advertising even more items at an even higher cost It's unethical and quite frankly I don't understand who genuinely thinks this is a good brand or business owner. I'm extremely frustrated with this and this business clearly thinks it can continue to scam people. How is this business still legally able to operate? Reported to ACCC and hopefully someone can bring this scammer down.
Criminal. Thieves. Have waited over a year and still no sign of the item ordered. Customer service is non responsive nor are requests to speak to a person granted. Do not buy from this company, very misleading images on garments and appalling treatment of customers.

quality presentation but orders are fulfilled overseas. The quality of my item is acceptable, same look as in photo, but not as high quality that I anticipated, considering cost & thinking it would be handmade in Australia. I wouldn't order from them again because it actually felt like chasing unicorns. If they were more upfront with me, including being honest re where made so as not to raise expectations too high. If so, I wouldn't have experienced an increasing anxiety about receiving it & would've given a higher rating re (anticipated) quality. I also reported my delivery concern via the SHOP app but no idea what they did with it. Thankfully it did arrive!

I don’t know why there is a cult following on social media, but I think it’s also fake. I tried to resell the dress, brand new at $75 and even at that price no one wanted to buy it. I think this speaks volumes.
Payapl & Afterpay will refund you as this business is listed as bad repeat offender – My experience has always been extremely poor, as this business plays games and is now listed as the worst offender paypal and afterpay will refund you with no questions asked anymore. Do not pay via credit card this is how they want you to pay then they will rip you off...... It is the best and only advice I can give you, they are not reputable people they are scams fabrics and quality.

Each time the business said there's always a "slight colour" difference between advertising and product and I suggested they stop using filters when advertising as it's really making a big difference to the actual garment colour and its misleading customers. They said thanks for the suggestion they'll pass it along but that's it. But this time the garment colour was SUCH a completely different colour to the one advertised in the photos and written descriptions and I'd had enough, it's not even remotely similar to the one advertised. It was advertised as pale mauve yet I received an orange and pink dress. I contacted customer service, who again stated there's always a "slight variation" in colour, but this isn't a slight variation though, it's a completely different colour. Customer service said "sorry the dress isn't to YOUR perfection" and that I can return and they'll assess the dress and decide how to handle the return. This business has a difficult return process, even if you get a damaged or faulty item. You pay to return, THEY decide if it's damaged or faulty, and if they decide its not tough luck for you, they might not refund if they feel they can fix it themselves and if they decide that can't then you get a partial refund of store credit only, again even if the item is damaged or faulty you only get a partial refund of store credit.
I once received a crochet top that was advertised as a certain size for XL, however when I got the top it was much much smaller and I measured it and the measurements were for a smaller size, I returned at my cost and they sent me a partial refund of store credit because magically the top had grown in the mail and had the XL measurements when they assessed it upon return. I asked them why I had different measurements so how can it suddenly be bigger when they have it, thus affecting my refund amount and they just never replied.
This dress that is orange and pink NOT pale mauve as advertised is the final straw for me, and the attitude of the staff who wrote to me that it was just me who felt "it wasn't perfect enough for me" was infuriating, they didn't acknowledge the issue of colour difference at all, just were like "oh sorry you're not happy enough with it, send it back at your cost and we'll consider what to do" The dress is a completely different coloured dress. It looks nothing like what I thought I was buying from the photos chosen to be used for advertising. The dress advertised looks like a creamy dress with mauve stitching for the embroidery, the dress I got is ORANGE with pink stitching. Not even remotely similar to the picture at all. The constant use of filters and then using the excuse "there's always a slight colour variation" isn't okay, you're misleading customers to think their buying one colour but receive a different colour item instead. And these are EXPENSIVE items. Very expensive, they should look the same as they're advertised! And then there's the "estimated shipping dates" which could be well over 6 months from your purchase date, and no updates in between, and if you ask about your very expensive item you get no information from customer service, they often change the dates as well without informing the customer, the month will just change in the description if the item is still listed online. So if you buy an item listed as "shipping out from August" they could change it online to October and just not tell you. And there are no updates at all in between buying and being shipped. You are waiting months and months and months and they just don't give any updates.
I'm done with this business. They're dishonest. No accountability for anything. Blames customer for being impatient after waiting over 6 months for the item they keep changing the dates of when it will be made, or how jts just the customer being unhappy with something rather than admitting yeah, the garment DOES NOT look anything like the advertised one. And its so disappointing to be expecting one thing and get something so completely different and only to be told by customer service that "it's just you unhappy" no, it's YOU who advertised one colour then made and sent a completely different one. I'll be updating this review as the last of my orders still haven't been sent. Who knows if they'll even be the same as they're advertised.

Please report all of your issues to the accc. It's consumer law to provide ACCURATE photos and descriptions for items for sale, as well as having a SET delivery time of products purchased. Thay are not allowed to keep changing estimated shipping times. Please notify the accc so the business makes better positive changes and stop screwing around customers. Also business lied about refunding my shipping fees. They sent an email saying they did yet I haven't actually received anything . Can't say I'm surprised though.
*EDIT* Despite going through both Vic AND Nsw fair trade this dishonest seller STILL wouldn't refund me. She did cancel an order but only issued store credit. To which she now won't send the item. Her sidekick Kiki rarely replies to requests to know WHERE MY ITEM IS 9 now 10 MONTHS LATER and sooks about how she's a human who's only trying to help, yeah help your boss steal money and rip off customers. Sarah is conniving, she knows she can't be forced by fair trade to do anything so she doesn't. I bought June 30 2024 and I STILL don't have 2 garments. That's TEN MONTHS it's allegedly taking to make and send my items, its nearly the end of bl**dy APRIL 2025. Yet she's still advertising more and more on her website AND significantly increasing her prices, while Kiki claims my items are still in line to be made and they think that it's reasonable I've been waiting TEN MONTHS for 2 items, and that IF she even replies at all! She just doesn't bother to respond to a customer waiting on over $1200 worth of purchases. And Kiki in customer service ought to be ashamed of herself by continuing to stand by such a disgraceful woman who has stolen from so many. It took TEN MONTHS for 2 items to finally arrive, and guess what? They're such sh*t quality. It's ridiculous. I'd bet anything that's polyester NOT silk. And the stitching is so uneven, the cut of the garment is uneven and sewn so poorly. And she now has the nerve to charge over $600 for this rubbish!?? If I'm paying HUNDREDS of dollars my garment should be in much better condition. Even shien rubbish my daughter buys is better quality than this crap. Sarah is ripping us off. And she has no shame. Ok whatever let's hope the blouse is ok, it arrived and this time I ordered a LARGE even though I'm a size 10 because of how tiny the sizing was with the jacket I thought a large would be the safe option , well the measurements of the blouse matched the EXTRA SMALL on the website, they knew they had stuffed up but still wouldn't refund! It also had an uneven hem at the bottom and was paper thin and see through and I paid $300 for it! . I then went to fair trading as they were refusing to refund me after months of mistakes and back and forth, lies and condescending emails . Fair trading advised I need to take it to legal aid as they can't " force " them to refund even if they are at fault. Even though they had now sent me 2 faulty items. By this time I was tired of dealing with them and so over it I just took another credit note. Please please be warned. I used to manage clothing stores and this is NOT how you should treat customers paying hundreds of dollars. The quality of the blouse was terrible. The fact that are affiliated with the brand Spell is baffling as Spell have always been wonderful to deal with.

This company scams people and commits fraud – This company commits fraud, takes your money promises a delivery date and doesn’t deliver, and if they do it’s months late. Company needs to be shutdown and stop ripping people off. I urge you to contact Fair Trading and fight for a refund and never purchase from them.

make excuses eg. “we have sold lots of these an had no problem” making the customer feel like it is their fault. They then sent me an invoice for repair fee to send back to Bali plus a $15 shipping cost. I fortunately have an amazing jeweller who was able to repair belt for a very small fee and repair it in a way that it should not break again in the future. Please think seriously about waiting months for “luxury items” from Bali only to be disappointed by quality and customer service.

For example, I ordered a dress last year in November, which was expected in February at the time of purchase, which is now listed on their site as being expected in September this year. If you ask for a refund like I did, they will issue you store credit for change of mind, even though you have already months for your item. They don’t take any responsibility for misleading customers on the delivery date of items at all. If the item is received at all, the garments are poorly made and not worth the money you are charged. It is absolutely unclear what the owner, Sarah, even does as the clothes are made by Balinese people and some of the designs are incredibly similar to other brands garments (for example, Golden Brown). On their Instagram page Sarah is often responding to comments from people waiting for their items without any acknowledgement that this is not a thing that should be happening so regularly. They deleted and restarted their Facebook page due to the amount of complaints and regularly delete comments from Facebook and Instagram so that the true customer experience is not reflected. Bizarrely, she appears to be trying to expand her company to the US even though this company functions so poorly. Please do not buy from this company. There are so many great ethical Australian brands that deserve support over Chasing Unicorns, who have been scamming people for a long time now. If you have had issues with this company, please report them to Fair Trading or ACCA and leave a review where you can so others don’t gave to put up with losing their money to this business.

PayPal & Fair Trading regardless make a point of stopping this brand from fraud close them down so it doesn't keep happening. I was upset at first now its about coming together to made a group action of complaints to stop them, I am not worried about the refund anymore you get past that after they block your emails texts and phone calls and yes they do have a phone number Afterpay gave it to me.

and these complaints get deleted immediately by Chasing Unicorns admin, and as somebody who used to buy from them I've experienced these problems first hand. Regular complaints are: (1) they understate wait times (customers wait months on end beyond the stated delivery time), (2) rude passive-aggressive customer service (if you're ever lucky enough to receive an actual reply from them, you'll find that they love to sprinkle their emails with 'hi beautiful' and 'thanks for understanding' while stabbing you in the proverbial back by telling you that you won't get a refund for their faulty products, (3) overpriced products of poor quality (4) extremely unethical while claiming to be ethical. Talk about bite the hand that feeds you; this company treats customers terribly. They also employ unethical damage control attempts by buying good reviews from customers with vouchers and other bribes to try to smother all the genuine bad reviews. They're also well known for stealing designs from other companies, (4) This company could feature as a case study in the textbook of toxic positivity. Particularly after any bout of complaints on their social media from disgruntled customers, they love to post defensive rants on their facebook page about how the page is for 'good vibes only' and 'women supporting women' and other convenient catchphrases. In other words, they frame any legitimate complaint as 'negativity' in order to escape responsibility for addressing the problems with the business. There are so many great clothing brands out there run by people who care about customers - this is not one of them and best to steer clear.
