Paid for end of lease clean, unmarked van pulled up clearly a sub contractor. Did a very poor job and my landlord was unhappy. I called and requested they honor the bond back or revisit scheme they offer and they never turned up. When i called to ask why they said they would get back to me and ive heard nothing and its been weeks. - was forced to pay someone else to fix their "job well done" work. Waste of money and time.
The Nusara Team from Cheaps were great. Arrived on time. Thoroughly cleaned carpets that were heavily stained. Looking fantastic after the clean I was quoted $150 for the 4 room clean with the possibility of another $60 if a heavy duty stain remover was needed The final cost was $150. I have no complaints a great job by the Nusara Team
Terrible experience - avoid! Booked a steam clean for my final move out date. I had told them my address as an apartment. On arrival im told they cannot carry the machine up the stairs and simply they “can’t do the job” leaving me completely in the lurch re handing back my keys They made no indication that stairs would be a problem, no customer service call. times by email and phone (sending photos of the 'clean' asking for a refund as the contract was not fulfilled. The cleaners hadn't even wiped over every surface. There was grease all over the stove top, cupboards and taps were filthy. Layer of dust left on lights and tiles in bathroom still dirty). From an invoice of $855 we were told they would offer $90 refund! Decided to give them a second chance. Again, they arrived late (30mins first time, 45mins the second) and we're very defensive and rude. The clean was STILL not done. The photos of the bathroom attached are from after the second clean!! Every time I contacted the company the manager (claims he is also the owner?) was exceptionally rude and combative.he initially denied knowledge of the emails I had sent. He shouted at me down the phone, out me on hold without warning and even hung up on me! The most UNPROFFESSIONAL and rude company I have ever dealt with. He even stated he thought the clean was satisfactory and would not be helping us any further. Shocking that he is happy with this standard of cleaning by one of his company's sub contractors. didn’t arrive as expected, after multiple calls was told another team would arrive. [Name Removed] arrived with one other person (to clean a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house… just 2 people) took them over 6 hours to complete - the mirrored wardrobes were streaky, still had handprints on them, the bathroom mirrors weren’t touched, shower holders still had soap scum, ovens were filthy. When I told [Name Removed] they needed to come back because the agent wasn’t happy, I suggested all that was needed for the mirrors and showers was elbow grease, she told me “elbow grease is extra”. On [Name Removed]’s return he was only there for an hour, oven still dirty and soap scum still present. When I called [Name Removed] and asked for a partial refund for the bathrooms and ovens he was very gruff and dismissive, kept putting me on hold to answer other calls, and said he doubted I would get a refund because the cleaners went back a second time - yes, and the house was not still not clean! The final straw was when he asked for photos via SMS but then promptly hung up on me. The SMS has been ignored. And after reading his copy-and-paste responses to other dissatisfied customers’ reviews, he couldn’t care less about the quality of his work or the reputation of his business.

"the person I got the quote from didn't know what he was talking about".. after the inspection I was told at least $700, I said no and she can leave because the price is ridiculous.. price instantly dropped to $500... While writing up the receipt she has to audacity to say it was excluding tax (+10%). I agreed to get it over and done with. Her attitude was very pushy which I mentioned to their office but they didn't seem to care. The finish job was terrible, called their head office and complained but they weren't interested. They said just let us know what the real estate has a problem with and they will return to clean. Terrible quality control. Bathroom glass wasn't even touched. Fluff still left on floors throughout house. Inside windows poorly cleaned. Cupboards not all cleaned (some not even touched). Floor skirting not cleaned properly. Toilet area not touched. Exhaust fan not cleaned. Kitchen floor kick plate not touched Floors clearly not mopped. The list goes on.
Would NOT recommend.. I have used them in the past and they were okay, but very hit and miss depending on who you get and how.

Bad contractors and disgusting customer service! – Carpet ended up worse after the clean. Rang to complain and was hung up on by a manager (l was being calm and polite ). Wrote an email to try to seek a solution and it was ignored.

Great service and very helpful – Had Gary clean our bathroom and kitchen and he did a brilliant job. Had our routine inspection with hard to please landlords and even they commented on how good both rooms looked. Also gave us cleaning tips to make our lives easier moving forward as well. We rejected your cleaners as a result of this, glad we did, and engaged another company who quoted the same original price you did with no issues and same guarantees. Not good business ethics. Especially as contractors agreeing to do it on a Sunday means we have no leverage to contact anybody about this at the time it happened.

My worst experience with any company I've ever dealt with. I was left with worse stains than before they arrived. Tried to deal with my issue and after so much difficulty making contact with the manager, he virtually blamed me and hung up. DO NOT use this company ever. Disgusting – Absolutely disgusting customer service as well as cleaning. they'd be an hour and a half late. Raised the rate by over double on the day of clean. Dust left everywhere, skirting boards weren't cleaned, bathroom mirrors and mirrored wardrobes weren't touched. It's unclear if the carpets in the bedrooms have been steam cleaned. Soap scum in one of the showers, it looks like it hasn't been cleaned at all. The laundry floor was left so wet that the water had leaked into the hallway carpet. Used cleaning gloves were left at the property. We tried to speak to the owner of the Berwick franchise as well as head office and both were extremely rude. We asked for an itemised receipt and they refused, and no one could tell us a break down of prices. They put one of the other tenants on the spot telling them there was no way we would get the bond back and that the clean would be $1210 not including walls. They wanted $50 per wall! Unfortunately the tenant felt like they couldn't say no as the person on the phone was pushy and insisted we wouldn't get our bond back, and the cleaners were inside the property. We later found out the person charging wasn't even at the property nor had they seen pictures. It has been difficult to communicate with anyone in charge about our concerns. It feels like they took advantage of the fact that none of the tenants were able to get to the property during the clean. All tenants are upset about this service, we will be seeking a partial refund or be taking this matter further. Please don't hire this company.

When I called to try and get them back to finish the job was told I'd have to pay even more and when I argued they hadn't provided the service I had already paid for I was told 'they did what you told them to do, if you want more now you have to pay' and then the girl hung up on me. Disappointing End-of-Lease Clean - Service Did Not Meet Expectations – I recently booked an end-of-lease cleaning with Cheap As Chips Cleaning for a unit in Pascoe Vale, and unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the high standards they advertise. Here were the main issues:
Windows: We paid an additional $100+ specifically for window cleaning. The top area of one window remains untouched, as visible in the first attached photo. This does not meet the thoroughness promised.
Garage: The garage floor was left un swept, as shown in the second image, despite the expectation that all areas would be cleaned.
Shower: Even after their re-cleaning efforts, the shower shows visible residue and grime, as evidenced in the remaining photos.
After bringing up these issues and providing photo evidence, I requested a partial refund to reflect the incomplete service. However, Cheap As Chips refused, offering only a redo which was not possible as the keys were being returned the next day.
The lack of flexibility and refusal to acknowledge the extra cleaning I had to do myself was disappointing.
Overall, this experience left me feeling let down by Cheap As Chips Cleaning. If you’re looking for thorough and customer-focused cleaning, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

be bothered arguing. Then processes the invoice as $121. It was $110 plus GST which you can't actually do.
Anyway, from $70 to $121.
I think they just rely on people who can't be bothered arguing but I suspect it's how they operate.
PS. And the $70 special is still up on the website 3 weeks later!

bedrooms were still very wet. Thursday afternoon, the smell of mould started and the carpet was still very wet. Friday I tried to cover the smell with carpet deodoriser. Not realising what was happening. By Saturday afternoon we couldn’t enter the house without gagging because the smell was so overwhelming. We ended up ripping up the carpet and got a massive shock. The carpet, underlay and wood floors were all wet. The carpet had started to grow mould. I have photos to show the damage. I emailed the company on Sunday with all the photos and requested compensation for the damage caused. I immediately received an email of apology and told the manager would contact me the next day. The operator has informed us that he did in fact give you a receipt on the day, with notes on it stating the condition the carpet was in and that it was very old. He has also mentioned that you spoke to him on the day that you were planning on replacing the carpet following the steam clean. We are not taking responsibility for this for obvious reasons. ……….. No receipt was given Yes the carpet is old but has a few years left in it-it’s the same age as the carpet in the lounge that cleaned good. No we did not say we were planning on replacing the carpet. 1. Why pay to clean it if we’re replacing it and 2. Doesn’t excuse the state the rooms were left in. I can’t even get anyone to answer my emails anymore. Surely you can’t enter someone’s property, damage their home and walk away with no consequences. (yes I might be free and I’ve got nothing in my life to do just wait for him the whole day). He started around 13:30 and finished by 17:00 or 17:10 … of course zero communication neither emails (which I prefer) nor phone call …
Second, I’ve requested him (multiple times) to call 30 min prior to his finishing time in order to come and inspect and yes you got it he failed to do so.
Third, external windows wasn’t done he said he will come the next day to do them as it requires another machine and yes you got it he didn’t show up …
Fourth, I’ve called him in order to check as another tradies (flyscreens) will be coming to work and we need him to finish … he kept silence till the next day, then he messaged me and informed me he’s coming the following day at 4 pm 3 BUT he came in the morning early hours started cleaning the windows without letting us know and we are living inside the house. What a professional job and what is the definition of the privacy guys????? In addition, I’ve addressed few things need to be re-cleaned he said yes and of course nothing was done.
Fifth, I’ve emailed the company and no answer. I used the company for their “ Cleaning Guarantee:- We have cleaning guarantee, so if you're unhappy with the work we can organise a re-clean. An official receipt will be provided for the work completed. Re-cleans take at least 72 hours to organise and they must be scheduled within two weeks of the original booking” not because they cheap as chips cleaner and it’s all just words to get your money.
I wish I can add a second review for the duct cleaning guy … he was professional … on time … showed me everything and very nice … even he damaged something by an accident I was like don’t worry it can be fixed the tradie still here; this review is not about you guys, it’s about the unprofessional contractor you are using …

cleaner arrives and says the job will cost $150 + gst when I was quoted $109 on the phone. Bit hard to then turn him away when I want my carpets cleaned and he is already inside my house. In the end the job took him less than an hour - would have thought for $150 + gst more than an hour would have been spent cleaning the carpets.

In addition, I had booked for 8am, was only informed when I called to confirm the day before that the cleaner was coming at 8am but the carpet cleaner wasn't coming until 12pm. I couldn't be there or available on the phone but spoke to them twice to organise for the cleaner to leave the key under the mat and to pay the carpet cleaning later over the phone. Despite this I received a number of calls and texts while I was working and unable to answer my phone. The carpet cleaner didn't arrive until 2pm. The cleaner herself was lovely and I felt awful that she is having to deal with customers who are upset with the practices of the business (which are outside her control). She did a good job and the flat was left clean but not worth the stress. Had I known how difficult and costly it would be I would have used a different company. I have tried to discuss this however my concerns were dismissed and they haven't responded to my email.
