through to customer service they suck. They essentially were going to steal my money until I asked for a refund. I eventually received a refund after messing around with incompetent staff for over an hour. Edit - they send a private message here and then never follow up. Do not recommend the customers service is absolutely inadequate.

home when it was delivery day (inconvenience as we work out of an office) and rush down as soon as we get the text, which was fine I guess. One time we did that about 5 minutes after the text, the food went missing. They refused to refund or provide any assistance. I had to study the delivery photo, and it turned out they delivered to another part of the apartment we don't have access to, even though I detailed the entrance with photos and a description. They refunded after I raised this issue, but the fact I had to look into it, and their customer service didn't is just appalling. Switched to Lite n Easy and guess what, the delivery guy rang the bell and came up to give us the food. Such a pleasant experience. Just shows that chef good can make improvements but choose not to.

little skimpy on the meat and veg being mainly sauce. I did find a few dishes a little bland for me but the stand out dish I loved was the satay chicken! I would have continued ordering from them but I dislike how they txt message when the meal is on the way but not to let you know you must finalise your next wk order. Basically the onus is on the individual to login to the website dashboard and update and select your meal options by Tuesday night. A reminder is sent on the Tuesday itself via email but if your inbox is inundated with emails like mine than who wouldn't prefer a txt msg? At least you could pick what you want rather than pay $70+ for meals they select.

Worst ever meals. I had 2 that tasted like they were expired! Then with one of the it said “42.3g protein” but as soon as I went to eat it there was literally 3 pieces of meat and the rest was just sauce a a few veg. Disappointing food options with the weight loss program. A lot of pastas for “low calorie” which are lower in protein and don’t keep you full. They say they delivered at 12.09am yet nothing delivered. The week before most of the products were all very short dated and had to throw 2 meals out due to out of date. We opened up the hearty beef casserole meal to find 2 bits of beef and one was not even meat.. They deliver on a Sunday morning and yet they aren't open for you to call someone regarding their order being missing. Show details

Absolutely the best I have found for price, convenience and taste. There has not been a single meal that I wouldn't have again and again. These are seriously the closest to home cooked genuine taste and clean ingredients meals I have tried. Thanks for making these available to make life easier in an affordable way!
Chefgood fresh and tasty yummy meals – I'm very happy with Chefgoods affordable meals, extremely fresh, tasty, they don't add preservatives or fillers in their meals and customer service and communication has been 5 stars. Delivery is within 3 days of ordering, and variety of meals is great.

1. Order was wrong. Missing meals 2. Seems ingredients are artificial and terrible quality 3. Some items have arrived damaged 4. No clear meal plan sheet 5. When we reported the damaged and missing meals, e were given credit rather than refund 6. The way the calories are made up, is through high calories sauces, rather than nutrients dense and quantity.

their customer service, the process was frustratingly slow and unhelpful. Instead of offering real solutions or taking responsibility, it felt as though they were putting the blame back on me rather than looking for options to keep me as a customer.
A reliable delivery service should prioritise clear communication, timely delivery, and safe handling of packages — unfortunately, none of these standards were met in my case. you’re 6ft+ or a bigger/taller person in general like me, you need more than 350-450 calories! The food could also be quite bland, which isn’t so much of a problem because you can add your own salt/seasonings, but you do get disappointed when you tuck into something that you thought looked really tasty and it turns out to be bland. Customer service was crap with just making excuses and false promises to “speak to the chefs”, could also be very slow. My biggest issue with Chefgood is with their menu, it rarely ever changes. You’ll get 1-2 different dishes rotated every few weeks or months if you’re lucky, but the rest of the recipes never really change at all, and some dishes (sometimes really good ones) just get removed from the menu after being around for months. The bulk of the menu gets so boring after a while, there’s only so many times you can get recipes like shepherds pie, roast meat and veggies, spinach and chicken risotto or bland spaghetti bolognese, before you’re sick of them. The menu isn’t all that big with about 30-35 dishes, BUT, when you break that number down and divide it into vegan/fish/meat/vegetarian categories the number of options shrink considerably depending on your taste or dietary preferences, compared to competitors like Youfoodz, who have dozens and dozens of options that change weekly! They also substitute dishes at the last minute without any thought or consideration of dietary preferences or even what you have ordered previously, they send either the cheapest or the most convenient dish FOR THEM to substitute with. That really got me angry, no thought taken whatsoever with substituting! How lazy to not have a system in place to either choose to not have a substitution at all, or to just look at the customers history and pick something similar.The substituted dishes went in the bin. Me and the person I live with were ordering 3 dishes a week each, after a month we just got so sick of the same dishes. You can only go through a cycle of 10-15 dishes for so long before you want to try new things. It’s a no from me. The company is either still too small to provide a faster turnover of recipes, or they just don’t really care, because we spoke to them about it and we got brushed aside, we took our business elsewhere. It’s really disheartening to see supposedly Australian businesses take the cheap and easy way out when it comes to customer service, instead of employing and paying people here, in this country, they outsource. I’d rather pay a bit more for food if I know the money is actually supporting all the staff here in Australia. TL:DR - food is meh, customer service is sh#t, boring menu never fkn changes. Update this morning, been told that delivery days have changed to Wednesday for my area and they can’t send meals on Wednesday as it’s a cooking day, so I now have $400 in useless vouchers. Yet you go to the site and it still states Sunday and Monday deliveries to my area. Useless customer service agents.
