Really comfortable for bub to sleep! – I had to use this capsule temporarily because I was interstate. The capsule is easy to use, adjust and carry (mind you my bub was 9 kg). Baby sleeps pretty well in this capsule whenever we drive so I’m assuming she’s super duper comfortable. It is quite expensive though however it was purchased second hand

OMG.... you'll wonder how you lived without it. Seriously – We got this travel system for our second born as a hand me down from family... and I instantly regretted not having it for our first! Wow! Lock and load... no fiddling about with belts and waking bubs up. For the first 6 months when stress levels are at their highest, this thing is awesome. The pram this capsule locks into is nice and… Read more

study, and well balanced. And I just cant get over how fast and easy it is getting into and out of cars with no disturbance. A godsend.

As an added bonus, the bottom of the capsule is curved, so when visiting family and friends bub can chill out and be rocked in the same carrier.

Btw, you have to remember its a newborn carrier folks. There's a couple of comments below saying its small/too tight. It's supposed to be, unless you like baby ping pong! Everything. Safety, build quality, ability to customise your travel system by buying extra bases for other cars etc. I didnt have to pay for mine, but looking at online pricing it isnt cheap. Knowing what I know now however, I'd pay for it!

Heavy – We purchased the capsule with the pram. The capsule is really heavy and super tight which makes my baby hot even when the aircon is on she would cry if she is in it for more than an hour. We thought as well that it is convenient just to take the capsule out of the base but my husband is complaining on how heavy the capsule is plus my 3 kg baby… Read more

also I would buy convertible next time as this is only for a short term use and it is expensive Safe I guess Heavy and only red in color

Love it so safe and convenient – I bought this as a system with the trevi stroller because I love the fact that I don't have to disturb my baby going from car to pram. Plus it doubles as a rocker so when going to peoples places It was a god send. The padding is so comfortable the straps adjust so smoothly and one click and there in and out. My little man loves sleeping in it,… Read more

It's so sturdy and safe my little man is 5 months now and still has room but I will be sad when he out grows it. We love it and highly recommend it. Ps yes it's a little heavy but that's because the rebound bar is steel not flimsy plastic making it safer and that's a priority to me it's quality Safe, comfy, quality, convenient, easy to put in and out Nothing it's perfect

Safe and secure – Puchased this capsule as the Mother care seat we had didnt feel secure enough, Glad we paid the money for it, Gave us peace of mind knowing he was secure and warm during winter. Only problem was in summer as he was getting bigger he used to get very hot and sweaty. Very safe, looks great heavy heavy heavy! and hot

Safe & sturdy but wouldn't buy again – We purchased this capsule with the Trevi stroller with the belief that a travel system would make life easier. It didn't. I found the capsule very heavy and awkward to carry with the baby inside. It was easy to install into the pram but if you're just 'popping' into the shops for a minute and don't want the hassle of the pram then it was not… Read more

practical to carry the heavy capsule. I'm 175cm and quite strong but it was still awkward. Also, when reinstalling the capsule into the base in the car, I found the anchor strap a bit fiddly and in my Mazda 3 (2005) if someone was sitting in the front passenger seat I had to move the front seat forward to refit the anchor strap (front seat needed to be all the way back for someone to fit in front comfortably). The baby seemed to fit comfortably in the capsule but would get quite hot and sweaty even with the aircon on. Also my husband and I are fairly tall so we had long babies and my son was quite heavy so both have grown out of the seat before 6 months. My daughter is now 16 weeks old, 6.5kg and 65.5cm long. The capsule suits to 9kg and 70cm. My sister-in-law's son is 66cm, almost 9kg and 8 months old so has gotten much more use from hers. I also have a SnS Meridian for my 2yr old son which is suitable from birth and which my son used since he was 5 months old. I found it much cooler and when he outgrew it in rearward facing mode before 12 months, it reclined in forward facing and I felt he was still very safe in it. Had I have not had the capsule already, I would not have bothered with it for my daughter at all. Easy to install, sturdy, felt baby was safe, straps NEVER tangle, compatible with Trevi stroller (did not like stroller!!) Hot & sweaty, heavy, fiddly anchor strap when reinstalling capsule into base

So easy to use!!! – My first capsule was a steelcraft cruiser capsule, but I always struggled getting it in and out of the car, or doing up the straps. I also wanted a stroller for it to click into so after doing research I found the trevi stroller and capsule easier to use than my steelcraft. The straps are a lot easier to do up and release, and the capsule is just… Read more

a simple pull of a handle to release from the car. Was also great clipping it into my stroller when bubs was asleep. Easy to use, pretty colour, lightweight, sturdy handly and bar to carry with both hands. Only thing I can fault is my baby getting too big and heavy and having to get another carseat :(

Everyone said don't bother with a capsule, but no regrets at all – Purchased this because it rated highly for safety according to the CREP ratings, plus it was compatible with a stroller (we got the Chicco Trevi). Our baby loved it from the minute he came home from hospital! Found it useful for settling him for those times he was difficult to get to sleep; he would also fall asleep in it easily in the car- and… Read more

because it could transfer straight to pram we could get him in and out of the car without disturbing him.

Only pitfall is that, now he is 6 months, capsule and baby is heavy to lift in and out of the car ~ probably a total of 16kg... But probably why the capsule is rated so highly for safety.

A shop assistant at a different baby shop told me not to bother with a capsule because it's another ~$400 for only a few months- but having done a lot of car travel in these months, I have no regrets at all. Safety, convenience - compatibility with stroller, comfortable A bit pricey compared to others, can get a bit sweaty in summer, heavy

great for small car – We bought this capsule because it was on special and it was more compact than other capsules which we needed because of our small car. Our baby is 7 weeks old and the capsule has been great. He's not always a fan of the car so being able to take the capsule out, rock it and swing it has helped to settle him without needing to take him back out.… Read more

Main complaint is that he gets really hot and sweaty in capsule so we haven't been able to leave him in it to sleep etc. We live in Central QLD so it is quite hot here, not sure if it would be the same with all capsules, I think this may improve once we take out newborn inserts. Capsule also seems quite heavy. fits in our small car, easy to rock to soothe baby when not in car baby gets very hot and sweaty
