Probably a long discontinued thread (!) but could anyone with a Childcare Harbour XT cot tell me what screws and bolts came with it? I need exact numbers please.

Sorry, I no longer have mine. Maybe someone who still has a copy of their instructon book would know. It's probably detailed in the set up instructions. Good luck.

Hi haven't had this cot in years but from what we remember there was 8 screws, 4 for the back panel and 4 for the base panel. They were approximately 5cm in length and about 5 or 6mm in width. A pretty standard size did up with an Allen key which was provided. Don't think there were any screws for the front. Hope that helps somewhat.

Thanks guys have emailed the company that sold it and hopefully will get emailed copy of paperwork that came with it. It's mainly for when I go to sell it.

I have misplaced the bolts for my cot as it has been 5 years since my last child. Is there somewhere I can get replacement bolts from?

I'm sure if you contacted cnpbrands.com.au they would be able to assist you. My instruction book says screws x 8, filling screws (short) and plugs (12 sets preassembled on end board panels) for the mattress base holes and 1 x Allen key. Ours is in toddler bed mode at the moment so o have some spare screws. The screws are 4cm long. The filling screws are just over 2cm long and the but they "fill" is about 1.8cm. Hope that helps.

Are the white Childcare cots (bought from Target 2008) lead free. My child has chewed the rail significantly and white fleck of paint is everywhere. Is this paint lead free?

sgoodall
sgoodall

If I were you I'd contact Childcare directly to confirm. I've had positive experiences with their customer service department preciously. My assumption would be that it would have to be lead free paint to meet the Australian safety standards. I certainly hope it is as my son chewed his cot too.

Hi there, you would need to contact the CNP Brands customer service line to confirm these details. You can contact them on 1300 667 137 for more information. Thank You

Its more likely that it wouldn't have any lead in it as it wasn't manufactured pre 1970.

I am waning to change my cot to a toddler bed, but it never came with the bed rail kit , can you order these separate?

sgoodall

Not sure. I'd suggest contacting Childcare customer service. I've found them to be very helpful.

Hi Carly, as the Harbour XT is a discontinued item, I dont have any current information on our website about it. If you contact our Customer Service line on 1300 667 137, they will be able to advise you on what your options are to create a toddler bed out of your cot. Thank You

Anyone know where I can get just the bolts for the harbour xt cot ? When we were moving they got misplaced and can't find them - thanks

I would try contacting Childcare directly. I recently needed a replacement bolt on a bassinett of the same brand and they sent one out to me. They didn't charge me for the replacement as it had broken when we setting it up. Hopefully they can assist you.

How do I change it in to a bed?

sgoodall
sgoodall

I'm sure the instruction book that came with the cot would explain the process. If not, I'd suggest contacting Childcare directly. I've found their customer service quite good (I had to contact them only a few weeks ago about a broken bolt on our bassinet and a replacement was sent out that day). Good luck.
