Terrible customer service – This fridge paint came off top near door brand label fell off ! Rang customer service about paint …. Said buy a black pen !! Do not buy this cheap and nasty fridge , you will be sorry ! I am no service and don’t care that the paint comes off your door .go for a more reliable brand that cares about there customers I’m disgusted and now stuck with a fridge that paint has chipped off because they don’t care !!

A good cover up I guess! I have never ever had a fridge for one year and the paint chip off ! In fact I’ve owned a few fridges that have been more than 10 years old and no paint chipping off .why would people want to buy a fridge that the paint chips off and your answer is buy a paint pen from Bunnings ??? Such an insult .I just hope people read these comments ! I live by myself and I’m 71 years old I don’t damage fridges your fridges the paint peels off !!! It amazed me that you had the soloution of the paint pen and where to buy it within one second of my message . maybe in future you should supply a paint pen with you fault paint product !!!!!!! I would never recommend nor buy this product !!!!!!!!
Awesome little fridge – Purchased this little gem as a second fridge as our other fridge didn’t fit up stairs. Ample Shelving and great freezer space. Great temperature control specially in the climate and humidity here. Compact and sleek. Very quiet. Love that it came in black. Would recommend for a single household, efficient and cost effective for those on a budget. Main reason to purchase was a free extended warranty was offered by CHIQ

Perfectly sized Retro looking refrigerator for two – I absolutely love the look of this refrigerator. We have painted our kitchen in Porter's "squid Ink" and it looks perfect in there with our other black appliances. It has ample storage for two people with large fruit and vegetable storage. It cools super quickly. It's quiet and so far doesn't seem to have added any extra to our electricity bill. Very happy with this refrigerator for an affordable price.

Super Quiet and cold – Needed a new fridge right on Christmas as old one wasn't cooling and no chance of repair over Christmas / new year. Looked online and found this amazing Chiq fridge with 5 Year in home warranty. It looks fantastic in Black and the LED lights inside so modern. From plug in it Cooled down to making ice in 44 minutes. Soooo quiet in its operation.
Update - 9 months on. Fantastic fridge. Maintains cold temperature as set. No Frosting. I run it almost full top and bottom. As written in the previous review so quiet - do don't even hear it in a quiet room. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
Update - 2024 (2 years and 3 months later) As per per everything said above , I am still running this wonderful fridge full top to bottom and works perfectly and so quietly . Very, Very happy !

Regarding the paint chip near the handle, we have explained that this is not considered a manufacturing defect. Cosmetic issues, such as scratches, chips, or general wear and tear, are outside the scope of the warranty, as they do not affect the functionality or quality of the unit. While the cosmetic issue will not impact the performance of your fridge, we did suggest a cost-effective solution—purchasing a $5.00 paint pen from Bunnings—to remedy the appearance if you wish.
