5 Joshy P  · Top notch – The boys came in to fix a few issues with our plumbing. They were on time, clear about what they had to do and just got it done without mess.
1 BeJ  · Happy with the work but not the price – Double a pensioner because I didn't know better, the job is half the price that others charge. Feel ripped off.
1 B C  · Bad Experience – Did not show up for booked job, no call to say that they weren't coming. Then when called pathetic apology.

The prices are highway robbery! No quote was given when booking the job even though, when the plumber came, he had all the prices pre populated in his phone. They charged $1,250 to install 2 taps that we supplied. We are long time customers but won’t be going back! UPDATE. I complained direct to the company and they are refunding some of the money. Not a one star experience any more.

Excellent service – I organised roof repairs for my mother-in-law a few months ago. Zaid and his team were pleasant to deal with, timing of all the processes happened exactly as we were advised, the job was done well, and all rubbish was completely removed. Very happy with the service.

Ripped off – Don’t call Chiswick Plumbing if you’re looking for a fair quote or some advice. They charge for quotes, probably because you won’t give them the job once you see the price!!

Chiswick came to my rescue – My waterfront restaurant paradise cafe was flooded at a height of 9m high water level's (over my roof) in the July 2022 floods on the Hawkesbury river and I was contacted by the boys from Chiswick after they heard about my predicament and when they saw the damage they went beyond the call of duty and went straight to work to get me reopen and saving the business and my staff

Battle of the fridge magnets – Chose Chiswick Plumbing having seen their trucks in the area for many years. They have just completed a hot water service installation and I have now subsequently accepted an estimate for drainage work. The work and courtesy of Dylan & Matt could not be faulted. They were obviously very experienced which gave me the confidence that I had made the right choice with Chiswick. Friendly, helpful and tidy as an added bonus.

Highly Recommended – We have used Chiswick Plumbing Concord West for the past ten years. I can’t recommend the. Highly enough. Their prompt and efficient service along with friendly plumbers are 10/10. A rarity these days.

Not professional plumber – I rang Chiswick Plumbing last year in December (2023). Plumber came and said I have to pay $450 for getting the seat repaired or I have to pay $650 something to get anew one. I said I'm happy with the $440 as the seat is still good only the screws need to be changed. He went out for an hour, came back and asked me where are the screws which I… Read more

had already thrown in the bin. I brought it back and he played around using the same screws. After 2 days the screws came off again. I rang the plumber when he said he will come now in Jan 2024. When I emailed them - no reply. I rang and asked when the plumber is coming when they said he left the company. What is interesting is that his picture is still on the website, fine. When the other plumber came, he went to get a cheap cover seat and fixed it and after a month, same issue as before. So I paid $440 for a cheap seat cover and it now, dod you think I have to pay a fortune a fix a seat? It's a rip off from Chiswick. Never go to this company as they just need your money that's all.

Plumber with no tap washers – Chiswick Plumbing: Well; all I can say is seek a REAL PLUMBER. We had to call Chiswick Plumbing, who we have been using as our go to plumbers for well over 10 year, on Sunday as our back shower was leaking hot water profusely. This emergency call cost us $630 for an emergency call out, to what we believed would fix the leak. Well, the person,… Read more

I feel reluctant to address as a plumber, did not even take the taps off to check what needed to be done. Advised us that he did not have the equipment to fix the problem and that it would cost an additional $650 for him to go and get the equipment and come back and fix the problem. This meant that to fix the problem of replacing two basic tap-washers would have cost us $1280. Alternatively, somebody could come out on Tuesday for an additional $350 with no call out fee, as we have a service agreement with Chiswick, to fix the problem. NOW, when we rang to book an emergency plumber, we did explain to the receptionist exactly what the problem was and was told that a plumber would be out to fix the problem. That did not happen, the only assistance the person gave was to turn off the water to the shower to temporary stop the constant leaking out of hot water, a very expensive and totally unacceptable turn off. My problem is that we were not advised the person sent would be incapable of fixing a simple task replacing two tap washers for a cost of $638. The person also told us that the taps would require 0 ring and reseating. Naturally we called a REAL PLUMBER, who was capable and efficient to come on MONDAY not TUESDAY and actually took the tap off and examined the taps, advised us the there was no need for reseating and simply replaced the tap washers, fixing the problem even before Chiswick were available as PLUMBERS to REPLACE two SIMPLE tap washers. Customer satisfaction with Chiswick ZERO, new plumber capable, prompt and efficient 100%.

Disgrace to entire Plumbing Industry - Call them if you want to pay eye watering prices – These guys pick easy & unsuspecting customers and charge astronomically high prices. My non-english speaking asian tenants called Chiswick Plumbing due to a fridge magnet. Problem was a burst flexible connector that costs $4.50 in Bunnings(https://www.bunnings.com.au/kinetic-300mm-stainless-steel-braided-hose-water-connector_p4750080). Guess what… Read more

a unsuspecting customers can be sold and charged!!! A unprofessional Chiswick plumber replaced a Basin Set (costs around $58 in Bunnings https://www.bunnings.com.au/estilo-basin-set-wels-3-star-9l-min_p5003016), Flexible pipes ($10 for 2) and charged tenant a whopping $600.

If you call them even after reading my review... you are a Mother Theresa. These guys can cheat anyone who know nothing about plumbing.

Poor Value – I had Alex out the other day to fix a leaky gas connector. He arrived a little after 7 am in the morning and quickly diagnosed the issue. He went to Bunnings to purchase a replacement, returned at 8:09, fitted the connector by 8:25 and was out the door by 8:42. He charged $711.26. The replacement part appears to cost $22.30. exorbitant charge as I was settling on the sale of the house later that day.

I have since spoken to a manager at Chiswick who said, "plumbers can charge an arm and a leg". He said I should have asked Alex for a discount.

Company looking for a target! – ⁩My elderly grandmother of 97 years had a water tank issue. She called this disgrace of a company for assistance not knowing any better. Long story short they charged her over 4k for a water tank replacement worth much less. They are con artists looking for a target.

Beware – Recently my 84 year old widowed mother in law’s hot water service failed, prompting her to contact Chiswick Plumbing to organise a quote for replacement. A quote was supplied on site but before it was verbalized my mother in law and wife (who was present ) were told to ‘sit down’ due to the high cost. The quote was just under $5000. shocked by this price and questioned the quote to be told that this was the price after a discount was applied. Being elderly and anxious my mother in law just wanted the job done and so the hot water service was installed by Chiswick Plumbing. INCORRECTLY! I was incensed by the outrageous, escalated charge for what amounted to a shoddy job in which the hot water tank was installed on an unstable base with the relief valve inaccessible. I was further enraged when I established that other reputable companies would have installed it CORRECTLY for under $2000. On contacting the business owner with this information I was told that the best that Chiswick Plumbing could offer was a refund of $2000 which I accepted. In effect my mother in law was still grossly out of pocket. It is one thing to say buyer beware or to careful of overcharging, but in this instance taking advantage of an 84 year old widow living on her own and in need of essential hot water is plainly outright theft. Disgusting!

Get lots of quotes. Unbelievable pricing out there. They will gladly exploit the gullible – Didn’t use Chiswick Plumbing. This is about the quote. Replace 3 sections of gutter 1x7m 2x4m. I costed most parts, about $400. Quote just over $6,000. Less than 2 days work according to them (actually less than 1) $,6000.

WARNING! Thieves…… – Hot water system service and repair. Quoted 1-2 hrs to repair a leaking overflow. Works completed in 20 mins. Charged over $1000. Itemised statement?. Won’t supply one, so no idea what the $1k charge was for. Several email requests. No reply. Something to hide??? Yes, I would say grossly overcharged; without proof of otherwise. Use this company at your peril! Based on several other reviews, this issue is quite common with Chiswick Plumbing. Show details

toilet. It took two men 6 hours to replace a toilet which is 3 hours too long. not only did they rip him off they charged him for breaking a pipe in the wall and left the hole there and did not replace tile.I will let you decide if you think the price of $3565.54 is fair they charged $562.87 for a toilet suite that costs $250.25 at Reece, $296.49 for materials that only cost $69.81,$226.50 material delivery when one of the guys left job to pick up materials and charged a hourly rate as well $158.95 tool hire for B-press tool which is a common tool in every plumbers tool kit and only had to do 4 presses at most and this tool would not have been used if they did not break pipe in the first place, $148.43 for consumables which includes 1 tube of silicone use of a grinder blade, stanley knife blade and rags which I worked out to be about $40, $301.14 for rubbish removal could not see this costing any more than $50 plus 6 hours labour at tradesmen rates for a incompetent tradesman and apprentice for a job that should not have taken no more than 3 hours to do especially with 2 men but mostly I am upset with my farther who did not call me to do job as I am a plumber myself but he did not want me to travel 2 1/2 hours to Sydney to do job he is too nice that,s his problem he does not like to bother people and he is too trusting and he believed everything these guy,s told him. Also it is a pity that I had to provide 1 star as it will not let you submit your review 1 star to many.

Your search for a Plummer stops here – The owner of our house had major plumbing issues. Many leaks, extreme water pressure, unit missing to regulate hot water (scalding) and broken fawcett. $300 for less than an hours work and no parts – Unscrewed four bolts and replaced an hot water element and charged $300 for less than an hour’s work. Expressed my displeasure with such an excessive charge but was shut down by their manager saying this was the charge they needed to run their business. Be warned of excessive charges and price gouging Show details

Rip offs – They wanted to charge me nearly $600 for a job that would take 10 minutes. I said no and got someone else to do it for $270. Don’t use these guys, they think they can charge ridiculous prices because most people won’t realise they are being ripped off!

Overpriced – I was charged over a thousand dollars to replace shower taps (including silicone around to prevent any future leak) and check water heater valve (no parts needed). The plumber kept referring to an iPad and phoning a mysterious person to find out costs. He wanted to charge me nearly $1400 but my distress got him down to $1200. My sister was livid and wanted to get our lawyer involved!

Expensive and attempted to upsell – needed a drain cleared, was charged $415 for 10 minutes work needing no specialist tools. They were polite and did arrive in the allotted window but at that price, it's is excessive for such a small job. Spent more time upselling work than actually fixing the issue. Would suggest shopping elsewhere as these guys charge really high. Show details

Great service – Thanks Chiswick Plumbing for solving a problem others couldn't. I had a leaking pipe under my side deck that had been repaired three times by other plumbers.
